"THIS GUY IS TRYING TO AVOID PAYING HIS BILL!!!! [member name removed] originally contacted me on 11/6/2013 and wanted an estimate done for repairs to a home he was planning on buying in Bidwell, Ohio. I sent him a free estimate and several weeks later, [member name removed] contacted me again claiming he was not going to purchase that home in Bidwell and had another home he was looking to buy in Gallipolis instead. Another estimate was written on 12/3/2013 for $17,500.00. [member name removed] then added more items he wanted done so another estimate was completed on 12/10.2014. In early February, [member name removed] contacted me stating he closed on the house and was ready for my crew and I to start repairs to his home before he moved in. At first, [member name removed] had no issues paying his bill. Once we started working, [member name removed] discovered other issues with his home and wanted addition remodeling done not included in his original estimate. I spent several hours walking him through his home, giving him my professional opinion about issues he had, breaking down labor and material cost for the items he wanted done and would give him several different options on how our company can repair/remodel his home. [member name removed] then began to call me at all hours of the day and night to talk about personal issues, sometimes spending an hour of time listening to his family issues and his work problems. If he was home when we were doing repairs, it was near to impossible to get any work done because he would want to just sit there with me and just chat. It seemed to be like he just needed someone to talk to. He had me go to his work and introduced me to several of his Co-Workers, and bragged about how good of a job we were doing and how reasonable out prices were. I even went as far as to locating Sheep and Chickens for his Father, drove an hour to his home, another hour and a half to retrieve the sheep and chickens and delivered them to his home for free, out of the goodness of my heart. For the first few weeks, [member name removed] paid his bill with no issues. But as weeks went by, he started only making partial payments and in some cases, had to post date checks. He continued to add more repairs/remodeling to the list of things he wanted done. On 4/21/2014, I explained to [member name removed] that his bill was reaching a high level, owing over $12,000.00 in Labor and Materials. He understood and I went on to explain that this was going to be our last week for a few weeks, that I had other work lined up and this would give him the opportunity to get caught up on his bill and the special order cedar siding should be in by then. On 4/24/2014, I spoke to [member name removed] in the morning and explained that we would be wrapping things up a day early and I needed some sort of payment from him so that I could pay my employees. He seemed very irritated with me when I asked him for money. When we arrived at his home, he then claimed that me or one of my crew members have stolen from him which is an absolute and flat out lie. Our company had installed a camera security system with a DVR that continually records for several weeks in his home and the items he claims were taken could not have made it out of his home without being caught on camera. Along with the security system, his Father follows me and my crew and watches up like a hawk inside and outside the home. My crew and I would not and could not have stolen a single item from his home. All of my crew are extremely trustworthy, hard working guys who are being accused of false accusations! [member name removed] is simply plotting a way to get out of paying his bill, and I will be taking legal actions against him to collect his debt. All of my other reviews have been an A and [member name removed] statement is completely and utterly untrue."
