Stacey of I CAN HANDYMAN was great to work with. He was responsive in returning calls & explained parts of the job to me over the phone. He anticipated 2 parts we needed to purchase ahead of time to replace our kitchen sink faucet & sent me detailed info from Home Depot. Our job was not urgent & he was here within the week & completed it. He went the extra mile & informed us of an electrical problem with our garbage disposal, found a part in his truck, & fixed it which involved taking the disposal out. He still completed the project in good time which helped us to avoid an additional service call. He is friendly, personable & hard working!

When Stacey arrived to complete my project, he began work at approximately 1:15 pm. I was alone in a medical clinic I am setting up additionally I am 7 months pregnant. Stacey made a comment about how he had an "overwhelming urge to ask me out". I was instantly uncomfortable. The job was done fine and completed just before 2:15 pm. I then received an invoice with a line item "Revenues Continued" listed at $90 and I was charged 1.5 times. This was in addition to the $125 for handy man services. I called Stacey and asked for an explanation he stated this was a system error and that he charges the initial $125 for the first hour then $90 per hour after. He was not even in my office for an hour. I was refunded a portion of the "Revenues Continued" charge but not the full amount. Overall, would certainly not recommend hiring this "professional" especially if you are a woman.

Stacey came and assessed the problem We discussed the options and decided how to fix the problem. He did a great job, was respectful of my property. 2 and 1/2 hours and the job was done.

Exactly what we were looking for - someone with the knowhow, good communication, and flexibility to get a small project done with no fuss and very quickly. Reasonable rates. Will definitely call again for the next job that comes up at home!

I?m very disappointed with my experience with Stacey at I Can Handyman. He did not complete the job as agreed, despite clear instructions. We requested a new exhaust fan to be installed in our bathroom because the existing one was leaking. We purchased a new exhaust fan, but instead of replacing, he used parts from the new exhaust fan and took the remaining parts with the old fan when he left the job site. We contacted him a couple weeks later when the fan was still leaking and also requested the old and new parts be returned. He failed to show up for two scheduled appointments and still has not returned our parts. Due to the incomplete work and unresolved issue with our paid materials, I cannot recommend using this service.

Stacy cleaned our dryer vent as asked, and then installed 2 dimmers on an electrical switch as an added service. He communicated efficiently, was on time, flexible, honest, and friendly. We would hire him again.

I had this handyman here today to install grab bars. Unfortunately I found him to be inept for this project. He could not locate studs as his stud finder wasn?t working. After he put at least 7 nail holes on my walls above the tiles, I told him to stop. I did not want him making random holes in my tiles. I paid him $75 just to get rid of him. I would not recommend him for grab bar installation. I will go without grab bars. Not worth this type of hassle

Stacey fixed my folding doors that were not staying in the track and were scraping the floor and now they work better than when they were new. It was very easy to schedule with him and he arrived promptly. He was pleasant and communicative, explaining how he would fix it and making sure they worked properly before he left. He also took the extra time to push my refrigerator water filter replacement in place (which I was having trouble doing). I highly recommend him.
