Project failed due to miscommunication, lack of diligence on my part, not understanding consequences of cost-saving measures, and general over-trust in ICAS representative. Resulted in new leaks from damage to original panels and unexpected missing repairs. Key lessons: document pre-existing condition, get a detailed statement of work not just a list of cost of materials, document verbal agreements, and conducting thorough post-project inspections to avoid similar issues in future projects.

"We try to itemize each item and allow the client to exclude any items they don't feel necessary or within the clients' budget. In this case the client chose to only replace the missing roof panels and leave the ones that were on the roof even if showing damage do to budget constraints. The client also chose to not do the fascia in the rear of the house . After 6 months , the client complained about a leak which was proven to be not on the panels we installed but on his old damaged ones"

Yes the project was completed in 1 full day & they cleaned up before they left all were very professional and quite and the project manager explained the job very accurately during the estimate. All the parts were brand new and it came out better than the original.

I just had my carport replaced after hurricane damage. ICAS Storm Restoration is the best. They are very professional. The crew was very efficient and thorough in the repairs. The crew cleaned up the job site at the end of day. The yard was spotless. I would recommend this company highly. They do excellent work and they are a pleasure to deal with.

Leo was quick to respond to our needs. However, the tarp that he put on had to be reapplied by another company that was giving us an estimate because it wasn't working. My neighbors called with their concern because the soffit and fascia was never repaired. There was wood exposed and I was told that part wasn't part of the contract. They could come back at a later time but would cost us more money. The carport was attached to the original roof which was an eyesore. I later found out but it is not up to code by Manatee County. The carport was reattached to the original flashing which was severely damaged from being torn off of the house during the hurricane. The roof was not attached correctly. It increases the risk of further hurricane damage in the future. The carport was not completed by code. My home is at risk for further damage.

We were hired to do an emergency roof repair for Mrs [Consumer Name Removed] who was the owner at the time and were not hired to reengineer the existing carport structure. When Ms [Consumer Name Removed] bought the house from Mrs [Consumer Name Removed] she reached out and asked us to bring the carport up to current code we explained we were not hired to do that and simply did an emergency repair to keep water from leaking in the house . We have since reached an agreement with Ms [Consumer Name Removed] over the extra cost to do that and have executed as agreed."

After Helene I hired this company for work needed. Then a few weeks later Milton came along and my mobile home was badly damaged.
