ICON CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION

Very poor. Original contracted signed Feb 1, 2019 with completion date on or before end of March 2019. No show no call multiple times. When Icon did arrive for work they did not complete work stated for that day. Bobby, foreman?, made multiple promises for additional work to compensate for delays. Never completed. Foundation was poured in late September 2019. Work not to code, work not to supplied and agreed to blueprints, work not to contract, work was not even a rectangle. Icon agreed to rework making more delays. They found that it was very difficult to rework and stated that they needed to pull the foundation and repour. Concrete not completely removed and fencing damaged in process. They stopped work, stopped showing up , and stopped communicating. Construction and Contractor Board (CCB) arbitration scheduled. Arbitration meeting completed. Icon agreed to finish job by 2/14/2020, over a year after the original contract was signed. Icon did not show up once to work under arbitration contract that 6 weeks long. Please reconsider even talking to this company. If you do please build in dates and times for completion and know CCB rules.

We signed the contract on Sept 3, 2019. We paid $6,000 on a $7,752 deal. Check for $6,000 was cashed the same day. Work was to start September 20 and were told would be completed in 3 days. Sept 20 was no show, we called. Reset start for Sept 27. Was no show, we called. Reset for Oct 10. Was not show, we called. Reset for Oct 11. Finally tore out driveway and walk to house. Said would be back Oct 14. Was no show, we called. Said would return the next day. Oct 15 put in dirt and rebar. Oct 16 we told him we would be gone for 8 days. He assured us it would be done when we returned on Oct 26. We arrived home Oct 26 to NO driveway nor walkway. There was a phone message saying he would be here on Monday, Oct 28 to pour. He showed up Monday morning to say he could not get cement until Friday, Nov 1. Finally poured on Friday. We can not drive on concrete until Wed, Nov 6. On Nov 6 they returned to repair lawn sprinkler they broke They patched the corner vinyl on the house they broke, which we had been told would be replaced, but they patched. In summary, it took 9 weeks to complete a job we were told would be 3 days. We spent 3-1/2 weeks with no driveway nor walkway to the door. My husband who uses a walker and a cane had to negotiate mud and rebar. Bottomline--We would not recommend hiring ICON Concrete Construction, nor believing anything Bobby Reyes tells you.

On first contact I paid 6000.00 dollars down with a balance of 1680 left. Bobby from ICON who makes like he is the boss, which he isn't immediately goes to bank and cashes check. I signed contract that they would start work May 10th, this was April 24th I signed. I made it clear that this work had to be completed by Memorial Day weekend so I could complete my yard work for an engagement party on June 1st. The excuses started May 10th, it rained and we have to dry off other job we poured....tomorrow, then another excuse and the whole time assuring me this project would be done by Memorial Day weekend. On Wednesday of May 22nd, two guys show up and make cuts in driveway around garage door and on sidewalk then leave....I called Bobby who assured me this would be done by the party. No one showed the next day, so I called and cancelled the project and said I wanted my monies back.. Well, he didn't have my money....he said he was stiffed by another customer for $27,000. After many texts, including one that he told me to stop bugging him !! I received my money back. I would not recommend this company unless you have several months you want to wait. It was a horrible experience.

They did a really nice job and they did everything they said they would do. They were on time and their price was cheaper than others. I will definitely hire them again.
