He showed up on time and diagnosed the problem quickly.  The leak was bigger than I had hoped.  He outlined a couple of options of how to solve the problem and costs.  The work took longer than I expected (because the repair was bigger than expected).  I had a meeting that I had to attend after a few hours.  He got the work done quickly in order to work around my schedule and still did a top notch job.  I will definitely hire again. <br />

I was unsure what was causing my water leak, whether or not to replace the tub, and if it could be repaired.  The shower had not been used in a week, so the leak was hard to find.  Greg knew exactly what to do to find the leak.  He then showed me how the water was jumping around from the leak in the joints.  He gave me an estimate for both a repair and a replacement.  He told me that the silicone seal would fix the problem and that the tub was basically in good shape.  He explained the best thing to do for a replacement and gave me an estimate.  I went with the repair as I do not have the funds for a replacement at the moment.  So far t have had no additional problems and am happy with the solution.  There was some wait time invovled, but I was given a choice to wait with a $50.00 discount or to have it done right away.  I was happy to take the discount.  I was also given a discount for Angie's list, so was happy. <br />

I called Ideal Plumbing very early on a Saturday morning. I explained that I had a leak and my carpet was soaked, but I was unable to find the leak. Ideal Plumbing offered to immediately come out to my home before another job they already had booked. He arrived within an hour, found the leak, fixed it (broken valve) and the cost was extremely reasonable.

Quikly did what needed to be done and gave an explanation of why it happened.

Arrived at 9 a.m. and left after 7 p.m. that night.  Paul and his crew worked in 100 degree heat to get this huge job done in one day!  After the job was done, Paul and his crew stayed and cleaned everything to perfection!  When Paul was here a few days ago replacing the thermostat on our gas water heater, I mentioned to him about the collapsed sewer line under the house.  He finished the water heater and then checked out the sewer line.  After surveying the situation, he came up with a great idea to repair the line and save us money.  This job had been bid by another company for $12,000.  Paul did it for $3000.  He's a genius!  Since the job lasted 10 hours, I had to leave for various errands.  I left my house unlocked and Paul in charge.  No problems.  His honesty is refreshing!  After finishing the job, he tested and re-tested to make sure everything was in perfect working order before he and his crew started the clean-up.  Next, he is going to call to give us an estimate on sheet-rocking our den and refinishing our wood floors.  Evidently, there's nothing that Paul can't do. Hire this man with confidence . . .you will be so glad you did!

We thought we needed a new 40 gallon gas water heater.  It was around 11 a.m. on a Saturday morning, and we did not want to wait until Monday.  My husband was out of town for a few hours, so I had to find someone.  I called several companies that I found on Angie's List, but I kept getting either voice mail messages or simply no answer at all.  I called Ideal Plumbing and the phone was answered immediately by a real person.  I told her the problem and she said that Paul would call me in a few minutes.  Less than 5 minutes later, he called.  I told him what I needed and he said it would cost $1075.  I asked if him if it would cost less if we waited until Monday, but he replied that it would cost exactly the same thing on Monday.  After I described exactly what our water heater was doing, he said,  "I don't think you need a new heater -  you need a new thermostat on your water heater."  He came out and confirmed his diagnosis.  Total cost:  $375.  It would have been so easy for him to rip us off by selling us a new water heater, but Paul Kubeczka was much too honest for that.  Great service at a great price!

It went extremely well. Paul is out here all the time. I have been using him for twenty years. They come when they say they will. They take care of what needs to be done. They do an excellent job. They are very honest and trustworthy and fair-priced. I would use them again in the future.

First, I asked Paul if he had any illegal workers employed with his company. He said, ?No. I am on the up and up." I learned later, that he was going to a corner where illegal?s gather for work. I was robbed of $5,000-$10,000 in US savings bonds. I had them hidden in a shoe box where they were working. The plumber himself had broken through the wall and the tile on the shower wall was not able to be replaced. Paul insisted that he had the proper tile to replace it. He did not. The tile was 30 yrs old and not in stock anymore. I had to re-do the entire tile work in the bathroom because of this. They extracted the insulation outside of the house and left it in my backyard after tearing down the wall to reach the pipes. It was a lot of insulation. Paul left the house and didn't tell me he was not coming back. He left the house for another job for at least 2-3 weeks He was supposed to install a dishwasher. While he was gone he left the dishwasher in the middle of the kitchen floor. Then after that another company was supposed to install granite for the kitchen. He had left the toilet on the floor next to my bed in the bedroom. He did install another toilet, but never discarded the old toilet. I kept calling him and he wasn't returning my calls. He did eventually come back. He did this job sloppy as well. I was going to be installing new doors on my pantry. The lumber called and said that they were ready and I need to pick them up. Paul told me to go get them. When I came back to the house after my errand he was gone and 2 of his illegal workers were in the house. The two workers were so involved in my jewelry that when I looked in toward the vanity the sink had overflowed. There was no countertop on the vanity. They had gone through my jewelry and took out 5 pieces of jewelry, which I eventually reported as stolen. It was if they had taken my jewelry and scattered it everywhere. They ran out of the house leaving the wall opened to the outside. I am assuming that was when they heard me enter. In the bathroom, they changed the location of the exterior to interior location of the pipes, but never removed the old pipes that were shut off. They are STILL out there. Paul didn't come one Saturday, but sent a crew of about 4 people. The guys that were here on a Saturday were supposed to seal the hole in the inside wall. They didn't do. I ended up taking this company to small claims court. I do not recommend this contractor. His company and crew are a nightmare and have cost me thousands of dollars. Paul denied everything. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!

All the work was done while I was out of town. Paul and his crew are entirely trustworthy and I was completely comfortable leaving them with a key. I left written instructions regarding the colors and paint brand I wanted. Paul reviewed it with me before I left and when I returned, my house was repaired and painted per my instructions. I came back a day or two earlier than expected (communication mix up, I guess) and found some areas where paint was on window glass, etc., and that the utility room was painted the wrong color. I called Paul and he explained that the painters weren't quite done yet. They finished the next day, including repainting the utility room and cleaning up splatters, etc. When they left, everything was just about perfect. In fact, they ended up painting the walls in a study where they were only scheduled to make ceiling repairs and the walls in a bathroom where they originally were going to only paint the trim. In both instances, Paul said that he felt like he needed to do the extra work just so that everything would look right. What a great guy!

It was wonderful. He was the best contractor I've ever used in my life. They did the best job. They restored everything to perfect working order. They were right on time. It was all the normal stuff you'd expect. They cleaned up when they were finished. It was spotless. The plumbing was done to my satisfaction and the clean up and restoration of the sheet rock was perfect.

He is always on time, very knowledgeable and does not over charge. I've used other plumbers before and their nowhere as good as Ideal is. He is a really nice guy and does a good job by fixing the problem on the first trip out. I was impressed that he knew what the problem was right away and knew how to fix it. In addition, he does a lot more than plumbing.
