I originally left a very good review-because the gentlemen sounded very knowledable-work looked good but as hot weather approached job didnt do much to correct the situation-decided that I didnt want anymore costly patch jobs -where outcome was unsure and had a totally new system put in. Just felt it necessary to update my review.

He came in and gave me a cost estimate for $1400 and said that he is going to put a dye, check how it goes and if there is an issue it might cost me another $2400. Glad o told him to go. Had another handy man fix this for $200.

Agreement was to pay $97 for assessment. He would provide the estimate and then I will decide whether to go or not. But he went ahead and fixed stating that he is changing just the wires. Then he says you pay $344.40 and have no choice. May be that’s the norm but I find it unprofessional to corner me like that. He spoke with respect and did a good job.

Adding central air to an 18th century farmhouse with a separate attached apartment was a challenge. They did a great job, putting a high efficiency heat pump system upstairs , two minisplits downstairs, and two minisplits in the apartment (the latter was done a year after the initial job) The installation was done very well and all of the systems work great.

I had Indoor Air install a central AC unit and furnace at our rental property and a central AC unit at our residence in early 2016. First, I'm a bit obsessive about research and price quotes and spent many hours sitting with salespeople and getting quotes from seven different local providers: two small-scale, two mid-size and three large companies. The closest local competitor by staffing seemed to be Princeton Air. Indoor Air had such positive reviews on Angie's List, Yelp and Google that I asked Dennis how he was gaming the system, and he claimed that they had no dedicated staff for optimizing online reviews. The salesman for Princeton Air, by contrast, told me they hired someone in 2015 to manage their online presence, after I asked him why their negative reviews seemed to end about six months earlier, with significant negative reviews before. Indoor Air beat Princeton Air's prices by a surprisingly large margin, and five other vendors' pricing by a lesser but still significant amount, right off the bat, and after some back and forth negotiating (I'm very aggressive on price.), he came within 5% of the lowest bid, which was an individual installer with no support staff. I've been surprised by the following: 1) The women who answer the phone always remember who I am and are genuinely friendly and helpful. 2) The service people came out within two hours after I accidentally put a box on a pipe in the attic that drains the water from the AC unit, such that water started dripping through the ceiling. I was mad as **** at them and quite obnoxious, thinking this was their installation fault; they remained patient and professional; and after the tech guy showed me the box on the pipe, he very patiently explained how he'd remedy things at no charge, even as the steam continued to rise from my ears as I argued with him, and then he took care of it immediately, which made me a bit sheepish. 3) Yesterday, a tech came out to my house to look at a problem with a hot water heater that they didn't even install, fixed the problem and didn't charge me for it. (He had been out earlier for annual maintenance of the AC unit and was still in the area.) I tend to be skeptical about tradespeople until proven wrong, but Indoor Air consistently makes me trust their judgement, pricing and professionalism. They've done a couple of other little things for me like replace a thermostat, which required significant rewiring, and their pricing and professionalism in going the second mile without additional charges has been very impressive.

it gives me immense satisfaction to find myself leaving a glowing review since I have been known to leave more than my share of negative ones-but I am compelled to state that indoor air technologies is one of the best if not the best contractor I have ever hired.-dennis came out to examine my situation and offered me options that would save me money-this is an honest approach that I was not accustomed to-since everyone else wanted to sell me everything and the kitchen sink -dennis explained the science of air conditioning in what i needed and what was not necessary-his theory proved to be right on target after the job was completed by two of the most knowledgeable polite hard working employees that addressed all my concerns without hesitation-they even addressed things that I never thought of-dennis you should be proud of them as they surely represented your company in the most positive way- your motto should be HONESTY AND PROFESSIONALISM. it was a pleasure to do business with you guys

Service went well. Technician was great. Very friendly and informative. The only thing that I found a bit disappointing was the price of service was higher than average. Also the replacement for a component was overpriced IMO. I could have changed it myself after the fact but I was in a but of a rush and didn't think more about it. The part was about $8 but the service labor was around $190. These guys know their stuff and are thorough so part of it is getting what you pay for albeit a little more than I think it should be.

It went very well, from the time of initially contacting the provider through completing the installation of the equipment. Recommendations from a couple of people who had had first-hand dealings with Indoor Air Technologies, led me to expect as much. The equipment configuration which I decided upon was from among three reasonable possibilities, none of which could possibly be an instance of upselling; and, I didn't need to immediately choose which, nor did I need to put a deposit down, in order to preserve a price that was quoted. Trane brand is the only new equipment which Indoor Air Technologies installs. Trane does not establish MSRPs. I will say this about approximate cost of service: Based upon three estimates one person had gotten for an installation of comparable equipment, Indoor Air Technologies was approximately 35% less than the highest and, 20% less than the middle estimate.

It took 2 days to do the work. Larry and his crew went meticulously piece by piece and installed all the new equipment. They did it so quietly, neatly and perfectly, it was as if they were not there. Any item that needed my imput , such as location of thermostat, they asked questions to clarify. I could not have been happier with their professionalism, politeness, and quality of work.

My tenant's AC was not running, called Indoor Air Technologies based on its good review. The experience simply exceeded all of my expectations, the technician arrived promptly on appointment, being very pleasant and courteous, put on shoe sleeves for the carpet floor without being asked, diagonsed and fixed the problem quickly, even changed the dirty air filter without charging anything additional. I will definitely hire them again

Great! I have used Indoor Air Technologies for a variety of HVAC needs and always appreciate their responsiveness and professionalism. This is a smaller, family-owned company that has retained a level of personal attention that, in my experience, far surpasses that of large organizations. I always get the attention of Dennis (owner) or the same technician whom I've come to know. Excellent experience all around!

The owner came out to do the estimate. He was very responsive and spent time answering all my questions. Their estimate wasn't the lowest out of the three, but I went with them because I got the impression that they really cared about doing a good job. The installation itself went smoothly. Everyone from this company has been very friendly and professional. I'm very happy with their service.

Work was done on date that we were scheduled. They were on time, courteous, knowledgeable, did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves and went over new equipment with us. Would definitely recommend and hire again. Very pleased with service.

Crew was professional and courteous. Work done was neater and cleaner than the original system, and they corrected problems with the original connections while installing the new system. System was thoroughly checked and everything was operational and working properly when they finished. Great service. Not the cheapest in town, but well worth the investment.

Great all around experience. Went through a lot of variables to give us a wide choice of products and information about the products to allow our choice to work for us in price and functionality. Would definitely recommend them and use again myself if need arises.

The group, no matter who I called, I had a couple little problems they were here that afternoon. They were very polite on the phone. Whoever comes to the door is very polite, well mannered. They put covers on their shoes so they don't mess up the floor. They clean everything up. I don't have to call them they call me to remind me it's time for the six month maintenance.

This was a big job as it involved us switching from oil to gas heat as the winter was quickly setting in, as well as installing a whole-house backup generator and new electrical service. Our old boiler was broken so we couldn't have heat until the gas conversion was completed. Indoor Air Technologies had to keep sending people out to my house to do work as soon as the gas company (who took their sweet time as I warned they would) decided to finally do the things they promised in order get us a working gas line to the house. Knowing I had no heat, they always made me a priority when we were ready for the next step in installation, especially with the boiler. They provide name brand, quality products and their pricing was extremely reasonable. With a gas conversion, things happen in phases, so they were at my house a lot, and I got to know some of the guys that work for them. They were all very polite and extremely helpful. They worked hard and past 5:00 on several occasions to get me up and running. From the first consultation until after final inspection when they sent someone to my house separately, just to make sure we knew how everything works with the boiler and the generator, they were a pleasure to work with. They always did their best to work with us on timing and price. I'm very satisfied with Indoor Air Technologies!

Feel free to email me, Drake Baer, Dartmouth.edu@gmail.com if you'd like additional perspective. I left a detailed review in Feb 2016, and this is a follow-up. Indoor Air followed through as promised with servicing for a year after installation. Our utility bills improved substantially after installation, even though we replaced a furnace and central AC unit (at a rental property) with their lowest-end Trane products and another central AC unit (at our primary residence) with a mid-range Trane. Indoor Air gave us their best price up front, which was significantly lower than all seven competitors from whom I also got quotes (including Princeton Air, which was outrageously more for the same models). The maintenance agreements they offered me a year later for two central AC units and two furnaces, combined, was less than half the price of our previous service contract provider before we replaced the units. I couldn't be happier!

This was a big complicated job. It was clear to me that they had done projects like this before so they did not have to reinvent the wheel to come up with a good design. They thoroughly discussed options prior to starting. The job took two weeks. They sent double crews for the last few days to make up for a day they missed due to an emergency. Lots of plaster dust but that was unavoidable. I can't comment on the ac functionality yet but the heat works great. They brought in a very good electrician to do the wiring. I would definitely use them again if I had to do another renovation project.
