Veteran owned indoor air quality testing, engineering and consulting firm. Some risks are unavoidable but Indoor Air Pollution is a risk you can do something about. IndoorDoctor engineers test for possible environmental hazards, such as poor air quality. We define your environmental concern, evaluate its significance, and develop corrective actions or preventative plans to reduce the perceived hazard. Our reports are totally unbiased as we are not in the remediation business. For example, we have helped our clients to identify air quality issues that are contributory to ill-health such as molds and allergens. Many of our customers request air quality assessment before investing hundreds of thousands of dollars in a real estate purchase. Other customers use our reports to support insurance claims. But all of our customers want the peace of mind that knowing the air they are breathing is free of environmental contaminates.

I explained to Jeff that I had bought a new condo, which was new construction, and I had concerns that the HVAC was not properly working and I wasn't getting enough clean air. Jeff was able to come the very next day. He is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does. He conducted many tests - toxic gas levels, dust, mold, dander, etc. After about 30 minutes of testing, he identified I had a slow gas leak in my gas fireplace, which apparently had not been installed right. He stayed with me while the gas company came to remedy the situation. I am so grateful for him or I would never have known about the leak, which was probably contributing to health issues I was having. He also was able to turn around the other lab results incredibly quickly. Several others in my building have since hired him. Can't recommend him enough.

IndoorDoctor provides thorough, professional, and fast service. Everything about this company is outstanding. A+++! My experience with IndoorDoctor started with John on the phone, who did a great job answering all of my questions and describing the testing process. Jeff arrived at my home that same week to do the testing. He is very knowledgeable and excelled at explaining everything to me and answering my questions, all while efficiently performing tests around the house. Jeff offered several recommendations during his visit and within a day he provided a detailed, understandable report of all the findings. The report included a phased approach to addressing the problems. This made the whole thing less overwhelming to me, and a whole lot less expensive than if I'd gone directly to a remediation company. Even though it has been several weeks, Jeff is still available (and happy) to answer my emails. IndoorDoctor does testing, not remediation, so there is no conflict of interest. The testing is all performed expertly and scientifically yet the results are written in a way that anyone can understand. In all interactions, Jeff makes me feel like my home and health are important to him. He has been friendly, efficient, and able to articulate the problems/findings in a way that make sense to me. He has been an ally to help me through what is often a confusing process. Long story short, Jeff's recommendations are working and my health is improving as a direct result of his work. :-) I strongly recommend getting the Indoor Doctor for expert assistance with your indoor environment. We purchased a home built in 1889 with a fieldstone foundation and partial dirty floors. We were concerned about the air quality given home damp and humid the unfinished basement got during the summer months. Jeff came to our home for a site visit. He was very polite and informed. We talked about what should be tested and Jeff took some samples. A few weeks later Jeff emailed a very detailed report with the test findings and his suggestions. He made himself available for follow-up questions and further clarification. We were very happy with Jeff and would recommend the IndoorDoctor.

Jeff was super. He explained everything to me and answered all my many questions. He gave me some initial recommendations and followed up with a detailed, understandable report of all the findings. He was also available afterwards to respond to more questions that I had. He was professional, friendly, and I felt that my job was important to him. I first called him on a weekend and he returned my call right away. And the written results came within 2 days of doing the work! Perfect for someone like me. I wound up buying an air purifier from him which was in addition to the fee that appears here.

Jeff was fantastic-.unbelievably thorough and gave me a great report. Took time to go over his recommendations. Luckily it was not mold at all but cats marking territory on rug. Going with hardwood floors now. I also purchased a high end air purifier on their recommendation which Jeff is dropping off today. Again cannot recommend this service more highly!

Excellent. Everything about this company is pretty amazing. The level of professionalism on every front is probably the best I have experienced any where. Having a career where I worked with Fortune 500 companies, Jeff's expertise and customer service were at that level. Follow-up continued for months after the service to make sure all the other things we needed to do were done and his testing was without issue. The company responded immediately, worn all the right protection, was respectful of our home, communicated every step of the way and within days of the initial service we received a personal thank you note. Jeff is really awesome. He?s incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of mold and other contaminants, extremely generous with his time and advice, and generates total confidence in his work and results. First, he came to test certain rooms and provided test results along with recommended remediation steps. Note the Indoor Doctor does not do remediation, only testing. This gave both me and my insurance company confidence in his report. He then came back because a remediation company claimed I needed far more work than Jeff had recommended. He re-tested and found that I did not need that work, which saved thousands of dollars, an enormous amount of time, and the huge headaches of dealing with extensive demolition! After the remediation was done, he came back and re-tested, and found that the attic needed further remediation work, which the remediation company did without additional cost because Jeff?s report was clear and the remediation company knew his reputation to be stellar. During this entire process, Jeff answered the many question I had kindly, quickly and fully. Later, when my insurance company gave me a hard time about some of the steps the remediation company took, Jeff provided the documentation showing those steps ? which were recommended in his report ? were standard IICRC protocols, which helped enormously in communicating effectively with the insurance company. In sum, this was a soup to nuts service, thorough and complete testing and analysis that was both impeccable and trustworthy. <br /> <br /> I recommend Jeff and Indoor Doctor most highly to anyone who has any concerns about mold or other contaminants in their home. It?s fully worth the cost of having the Indoor Doctor do the testing rather than relying on a remediation company ? even if the remediation company says they?ll do the analysis free. My strong advice, based on experience, is to get the Indoor Doctor to do it. You?ll save plenty in the long run, you?ll have complete confidence in the results, and have a thoroughly knowledgeable expert as an ally. With mold and other contaminants it?s just not worth trying to cut costs by getting anyone else to do the testing. <br /> <br />

I was very pleased with the performance of this company. I left a voicemail, got a prompt response from John and set up an appointment for the following week. Jeff arrived within the timeframe given and after conversing some with me set to work. I was interested in what he was doing so watched. Jeff was very personable and willing to communicate with me during the process. In a timely manner I received a detailed report which included observations and recommendations. After receiving the report I had some questions, emailed Jeff and received a prompt response to my questions. The real name of this company is Environmental Diagnostic Professionals. The engineer who came was highly qualified and outstanding in the quality of the report and the information he was able to provide. (Also very personable and professional). I am in the process of addressing the important issues identified. Three of the problems were serious and require attention. I give this firm my highest recommendation.

My in-laws watch our daughter a few days a week and we had concerns about mold in the home. There is visual mold in the master bath shower and the basement was never properly cleaned after flooding a few years ago. Jeff was able to make a same-day weekend visit. He was punctual, polite, and professional. First I walked Jeff through the home to show him the spaces and areas of concern. Jeff then explained exactly what he was going to do and got to work. He tested every room for moisture in the walls, floor, and ceiling. He photographed visual signs of mold, took air samples in a number of rooms, and took physical samples of visual mold. Jeff was very easy to talk to and answered every question I had. Jeff only does testing so there was no selling of cleaning services or other products. A few days later Jeff sent me a very thorough report detailing what he found, the results of the tests, pictures, and other information of the visit and his findings. Jeff was also available for follow-up questions after I received the report. I highly recommend IndoorDoctor for mold testing. <br />

Jeff arrived promptly and seemed very knowledgeable. He examined the room carefully, ran tests for mold etc. I liked that he checked out everything and didn't assume he knew what the problem was. We were very relieved to have the problem that had been bothering us for months resolved. <br /> <br /> One note: After Jeff left, and the rug (from Pottery Barn) was thrown out, I did a search on the Internet to see if anyone had heard of such an issue. It turns out that many of the rugs manufactured for Pottery Barn in India before 2007 had this issue of chemicals leaching out creating an awful smell. Case closed.

What a first class act Indoor Dcotor is from my phone call with John to my inspection by Jeff - A++. I am buying my first home by myself and was very upset when during the house inspection mold was found but both John and Jeff instantly made me feel less anxious. Jeff was able to come the very next day and even showed up to the appointment early. When I wasn't able to come until the scheduled time, he happily waited for me. Jeff explained in detail each step of the process he was doing while inspecting the mold. He also answered any questions. I got a detailed report just 2 days later with remediation suggestions and the lab report included. It has not even been a week since the inspection and I already received a phone call from Jeff asking if I had any further questions. Excellent experience! Jeff arrived exactly on time. He immediately got to work while explaining each step of the way what he was doing and why. <br /> This man knows his business! He was thorough and very professional. <br /> He recommended an air purifier. It just happened that I had a friend over who happens to be quite knowledgeable about air purifiers and was impressed with the units Jeff showed me. At first I balked then my friend said "No way, this is a super unit which you can't find in the stores and the price is very excellent". After Jeff from Indoor Doctors left we had to run to Home Depot and sure enough their air purifiers were not as good and expensive. <br /> <strong>Wait it gets better.</strong>.. Jeff delivered the air purifier the NEXT DAY ON TIME AND SET IT UP!!! <br /> These guys are great and I ABSOLUTELY and heartily recommend this company, not only for their professionalism but their prices and punctuality and their above and beyond service
