Basement - Remodel
This contractor DID NOT FINISH THE JOB and when I requested he leave the material needed to. finish he agreed but did not leave the materials. I learned, after hiring, the owner and crew drink at lunch and the electrician had to inform him that the bottom studs in my wall were not attached or ready for finishing. Ceiling seams are not finished properly. The area was not cleaned properly and I had to hire a professional to clean. The windows were not protected when they painted and the overspray coated my windows and had to be cleaned by me. He provided me with referrals and they were glowing. I don't know why he was unwilling to complete this room.

"This is Greg from Innovative construction . I found it necessary to the respond to crystal to her review about the company. The work we did was completed about 9 months ago. This is the first I?ve ever heard of this Crystal referred us to three of her neighbors in the subdivision We did getting these 3 jobs We appreciative of all work Our contract with crystal was for only installing framing walls, electrical and MR board and taping and priming the walls and ceilings. Crystal never mentioned all the work we gave her for FREE We felt bad for her . Me and my crew felt bad for her she appeared not to have much money.We painted all ceilings and walls. We also installed all the base trim and was painted. We also did the concrete floor to make it look finished. Contractors have walked away from her because she does this to them all. Crystal never mentioned the drinking issue on the job. To meet at all Which never happened. We have great references because we care about our customers greatly. . She is upset because I would not give her some Trim that I paid for. I appreciate everybody that read this review. I look forward to working with you if you are considering us . Thank you very much."

Exterior Trim - Repair
What I found outstanding was the excellent communication from Greg about my project at all stages, from the first meeting, through the repair process, to the completion. I always knew what to expect from the day-to-day work and I felt he and I were on the same page. My facia board, gable board, removal of moss on my roof and door replacement was accomplished safely and thoughtfully by his competent crew. I would recommend this company to anyone as I feel they are very trustworthy, and I hope to use them again for my next project

Sunroom or Patio Enclosure - Build
We are fully satisfied with our enclosed 3 season patio. Only issue was the weather. Several days it was way to hot or raining. We opted to make a few changes during the job. Greg worked with us and helped with the decision making to so that we got just what er wanted. We are very pleased with our addition to our home

When the State AG office uses the phrase " Buyer BEWARE" they are definitely referring to these folks. Nothing square and plumb, window and door framing not to plans and varying when they should be identical. Sheathing not nailed, headers missing cripple braces and not secured to anything but the sheathing. Walls joined at the corners with only 2 nails. Just a total joke!!

Deck or Porch - Build or Replace
At our first meeting (after interviewing 3 others) Greg laid out the plan for the deck replacement and after 15 minutes I knew he was a competent, detail oriented contractor. During this project he broke down the staggered payments and communicated every day of the project through texts and showing up in person. Greg took charge in overseeing everything like a platoon leader in the field by maintaining the flow of construction resulting in a smooth, exceptional conclusion. Part of the old deck was problematic. He examined every inch where there were issues and was able to overcome some difficulty and see what I couldn't. He suggested a landing on the stairway, widening and decreasing the pitch which accommodated an easier climb for us. Those are just the highlights, there was much more. My thanks to Innovative Construction for a lovely new deck.

Sunroom or Patio Enclosure - Build
I found Greg to be both knowledgeable and responsive. He designed and built a sunroom addition, which is now my favorite part of our home. His crew was respectful and diligent. Most of them and his subs were well qualified, but a few needed greater supervision. The project took longer to complete than contracted for, but was not significantly delayed, especially considering that it was undertaken during the height of the pandemic. The design was well thought out, and most of the work well executed, though some of it needed returns and fixing (which Greg did). On the whole, Greg is a hard worker, and the sunroom adds considerably to our enjoyment of the house.

Basement - Remodel
I hired Greg and his company to finish my basement in January 2021. He lied about everything from the start. He didn't obtain a permit to do the work and tried to blame me for that when it his job to get a permit. That delayed the job for a few weeks. He lied about the timeframe the work was going to take. It took more than 4 weeks past the planned time. He lied about his work quality. My basement looks like crap after paying a "professional" to finish it. His work is very shoddy; the dry wall and ceiling finish is terrible with big chunks of excess material and paint in several places. Painting job was terrible with different shades of paint in multiple places, edges not finished well, etc. I have pictures to prove this. I sit in the basement everyday and just get annoyed looking at the walls and ceiling after investing so much time and money in the project. DO NOT hire this company to do your job, plain and simple. You will be disappointed.

Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
His workmanship for a roof was not good. I hired them to replace the roof. I was told it would take one day. In reality it took 2 weeks. After they were done, my new roof had a leak,. I called Greg and they came back to fix the issue. I now have five leaks and cannot get Greg to return calls at this point. last time I spoke to him, we made an appointment. I later received a text saying he is in Kittery, and would not be making the appointment. I have not heard from him since Update 11/17: I did end up hearing from him after I reached out to HomeAdvisor and submitted this review. He did offer to fix the leak but I did not want him back to repair it. I do not want him back due to the poor job he did in the first place.
