Hired Chris Watson to install a new heat pump/ AC in my home, gave him a $6200.00 deposit, He gave me a date for install, never showed, gave me several other dates never showed , this after taking time off from work only to wait all day with no explanation.Chris is full of excuses but long story short took my deposit and never showed , its a shame because i used him earlier and had no problems, please see the BBB ratings and many other review sites and believe the negative reviews my lawyer is now involved , he is also unlicensed. I own a business in Monson Ma, i will be informing my customer base of thirty years to avoid Innovative Mechanical and Chris Watson located in Palmer Ma. See you in court.

very poorly. permit was not pulled work was not competed to code. contractor put exhaust directly under a window and never returned to complete the work.

The job was mostly complete in December 2020. However, there were a number of aspects to the job that were not completed and to date (August 2021) have not been completed. We have contacted Chris dozens of times and he has made and broken dozens of appointments to come complete the work. He does not answer phone, email, or text messages and we have no way to reach him to either get completion on the job or some kind of resolution to the issue. I have been left with a half-functioning HVAC system, a half-deconstructed boiler, and an old oil tank that was supposed to be removed still sitting in my basement. We have had no one come to do any work on the system in months. We have had no choice but to reach out to a third party to attempt to get this work completed. I am sympathetic to a busy season but he should not be taking on new clients when he has work remaining on his existing ones. I have heard from my new HVAC company that we are not the only customers to experience this kind of service -- apparently Innovative is developing a reputation in the area for this. Please avoid.

Chris has ruined my house! He never insolated the equipment in our attic and all the condensation has leaked through to our ceiling. Another HVAC company came out to see what was going on, and reported that he ABSOLUTELY BOTCHED our job!! I am so upset! This guy is a complete fraud and people need to know! I am SO UPSET!!

We hired Chris back in November of 2020. He came across as professional, polite and knowledgeable. We hired him because he had good reviews. It has been nothing short of a complete NIGHTMARE working with him and his company. We were quoted a job that would take a week to 10 days from start to finish and it has been NINE MONTHS and the job is NOT FINISHED. In this NINE MONTH time period he has set up and broke over 30 appointments. No CALL, NO SHOW! NOR did he do the work well as we have had a second opinion from another professional, and MULTIPLE ISSUES have been highlighted on the most basic work. And we will need to go through his insurance to fix ALL the PROBLEMS. This has been one of the most STRESSFUL situations we have experienced.

Chris Watson took our deposit of $7,213.00 and promptly disappeared, was unreachable via phone and email, and when I did get ahold of him he dished out inconsistent dishonest excuses to put us off. Six months after paying this deposit it was requested returned, he actually hung up on me, and I have not been able to reach him since! A lawsuit is in progress. And, BTW, the license number he has listed above is bogus, it is registered to a Robert Webb, not Charles Watson, google it yourself. He is a Fraud, don't be fooled by positive reviews that he wrote himself!

This boiler/ storage tank install blew me away. Chris takes pride in his craft and was incredibly thorough and attentive to every detail of the installation. We had an uncommon basement footprint and multiple issues with our older system. Innovative worked with us to find the best solution possible for our specific needs. It is hard to find professionals these days who care about both efficiency and aesthetics to the same degree. Great communication, fast, and clean! Would HIGHLY recommend.

Chris Watson of Innovative Mechanical HVAC never finished the installation of brand new Viessmann boiler & hot water storage tank, and left me with a leaking water pipe which not only leaks on the concrete basement floor but is leaking internal to the system causing contaminated rusty orange water to appear in my hot tap water faucets throughout the house. He also created an oil leak from 5he boiler onto the hot water tank installed below it. He also improperly installed a pressure relief valve pointing upwards which is a safety hazard (it should point to the floor) which will not pass local codes. He also originally installed an incorrectly sized and located chimney exhaust flue, fixed it but the swiveling flapper gets stuck in the open position causing incorrect and excessive oil consumption! This man was offensive and defensive in his mannerisms, accused me of voiding the manufacturer's warranty simply by opening the door of the control box, promised a one-day install that turned into 3 visits and he's still not done. He gave a worthless 2 year guarantee on labor & workmanship; worthless because he created an oil leak and leaking water pipes that is corroding the inside of the tank with orange water!! He is argumentative and disagreeable in our conversations, fails to uphold his scheduled appointments, and fails to return my communications to him. I am a 61 year old single woman and feel like he has taken advantage of me, once he got full payment. I'm out of $8,850, he is paid in full, and he did not finish the job, he left me with a leaking & improper installation. PLEASE REMOVE HIM FROM ANGIES LIST. He knows how to act, talk, and look good, but he left me with several problems he caused in this original equipment install. THE PIPES LEAK AND HE IS NOT FIXING THESE ERRORS HE MADE. This will force me to hire someone else to fix his mistakes. I'm not working, I can't afford that. CHRIS WATSON BAILED ON MY JOB ONCE HE WAS PAID. HE CREATED PROBLEMS HE'S NOT FIXING. HE IS NOT WORTHY OF BEING ON ANGIE'S LIST!!

Chris and his associate were professional and friendly. They worked diligently to get our boiler and heating system fixed as quickly as they could. The job is excellent and we are warm again. Clean, friendly and professional. Would use them again.
