Overall the workmanship has been good. We encountered an issue with our garbage disposal 7 months after it was installed. Initial response to our request for service was slow but they did respond.

By accident, these 3 things were damaged in my hall bathroom. I contacted several contractors and almost none responded. I decided to contact Innovative Remodelers. I wasn't sure if they would take such a small job, because I have hired them in the past for major renovations. Gary didn't hesitate. He came the next day. Jenny got me an estimate within a week. Their crew came and did an outstanding job. This company did an outstanding job for me years ago, and their work is still second to none. It took some time because we had to select and to wait for the vanity granite top to be completed, but the final result was worth the wait.

My husband and I recently had Innovative Remodelers build a screened back porch. I can’t tell you how thrilled we are with the outcome. A huge shout out to the owners, Gary and Jenny. They are a family owned business who take great pride in their work. From the start of our design process through construction and follow-up, they demonstrated professionalism, expertise, customer service and a true passion for their business. Their attention to detail in building exactly what we had in mind was unmatched. At every meeting we were pleasantly surprised by their understanding of what we were trying to accomplish. Their team of employees were great to work with. Their craftsmanship was evident from day one. A mere thank you doesn’t seem enough for this company and all of their employees. We are happy to have found a reputable, respectable, trustworthy company to partner with again in the future. In fact, they have become more than construction partners; they have become trusted friends who have your best interest at heart. We highly recommend Innovative Remodelers to anyone who has a home project to be done.

If we have to do another renovation, Innovative Remodelers are the people we would hire again. Our 1920s house was flooded from a 3F bath all the way to the basement. The interior of the house was 60-70% gutted. We hired Innovative Remodelers based on its being on Angie’s List for 17 years. Over an 8-month period, Gary, Jenny and their crew rebuilt our house, re-plastering walls and ceilings where there was original plaster work, and dry-walling our basement rooms. They replaced the oak floors in most of the rooms, cleaned the old floors in others. The new floor was finished with the same stain to match the old floors. They completely renovated two bathrooms, re-finished a third, as well as re-tiling our kitchen walls and installing new porcelain floor tiles. They worked closely with the plumber to re-plumb the house, insulate the new stack. All along Jenny helped me pick out paint colors, tiles, faucets, and vanity cabinets. They replaced the damaged ceiling lights and fans in several rooms, replaced stair carpet on one staircase, and installed a new carpet runner on another staircase. They replaced rotting joists in the kitchen ceiling, and strengthened others in the basement ceiling. During the period when Best Buy would only deliver appliances to the doorstep, Gary and his crew brought them inside (no small feat, because it required removing a door) and installed them for us. The little details Gary and Jenny attended to, such as building a wide niche in the shower, ensuring compatible tiles and color schemes, and ensuring our marble fireplace was re-faced in a symmetrical pattern, led to a beautiful end result. In fact, we were so impressed with Gary’s and Jenny’s work ethic that, although not originally in our plan, we hired them to paint the exterior of the house, built a 10’x12’ brick patio and landscape our yard. They even built us two plant boxes in the backyard and planted several kinds of herbs. We love the result of what they did, and would hire them again at a heart-beat to do any work for us. We recommend Innovative Remodelers in the highest terms.

Work was outstanding. Everything was completed as stated in the contract and done in a timely manner. Gary and Jenny were very helpful in suggestions and sharing ideas that would enhance the decor and make a more beautiful setting. Quality of work was very good. However communications with Jenny were difficult. She did not provide photos of elements she intended to install before installing them. When I asked her to meet with me so we could get a mutual understanding of job, she did not show up to job site. She only came to job site to pick up checks. Since I work, communicating with her was very difficult. Also she wanted progress payments at odd times. The job turned out fine with me basically having to manage the job (I had hired Innovative Remodelers as a general contractor, so this was their responsibility). If you choose to work with them, get an allowance and you pick up hardware. You will avoid a lot of headache. Also read contract carefully and make sure progress payments make sense and they are providing value consistent with progress payment. Jenny wanted 90% of money BEFORE she installed 20% of the fixtures. If I didn’t push back on her, I could have given her most of the money and she could have walked with a very incomplete job.

Innovative Remodelers did a fabulous job! They knew I was preparing the house for sale. The crew was very responsive, timely, and completed a beautifully installed tile floor. The price was fair and cleanup was flawless!! I would absolutely hire them again for my next project.

They were excellent! We were very satisfied with the work done and we love our “new” bathroom. I would highly recommend and we will hire them again.

They responded to my request for service within minutes and came right out to my property and provided a free estimate. While on-site, they readily accepted my request to take a look at another project I had and provided a timely estimate. They called to schedule an appointment and arrived punctually. They had professional equipment and provided very cordial, professional service.

Excellent. Jenny and Gary promptly responded to my request for an estimate and it was fair and competitive. They started on time- the work was professional and complete. Jenny was a great help with designing, choosing colors, tiles etc. We are extremely happy with their work and would highly recommend them.

After meeting with several contractors I hired them because I really liked them, thought their pricing was fair and Jenny handled the design so I didn't have to run around to showrooms to chose fixtures and cabinets. It's really a shame that I am writing this review as they do really good quality work, but working with them, mostly Jenny was a true nightmare. I had to ask for the signed contract 4 times before she sent it to me. I repeatedly ask that they let me know if they were coming the next day and approximately what time so I knew if I had to lock up the dog and leave a key. More than a few times I had to contact them to find out if they were showing up that day. The project for all 3 bathrooms that was supposed to take 6 - 8 weeks took 5 months! Part way through the project Gary's daughter died and I tried to be respectful of the time they needed so I didn't reach out to them for 2 weeks after the funeral. One of the bathrooms was less than half complete and totally torn apart. When I finally reached out they were tied up and couldn't get back to me for another 2 weeks. Jenny told me she as coming to bring me a sample of the counter top for the bathroom and then a few days later told me she couldn't find anything could they use the same one as in the powder room. I agreed but when it was installed it was yellow in color and neither my husband or I liked it. They agreed to replace it (but we shared the cost) and Jenny told me she would have it handled within the week. Ten days goes by and I hear nothing from her. When I reached out she called me back, screaming at me that she was at her son's school, that she didn't think I cared about the bathroom being completed right away as it was the spare bathroom, told me she would handle and then hung up on me. Who hangs up on a customer? I was so amazed I couldn't believe it. Within a few hours she texts me 7 or 8 samples of counter tops. What happened to she couldn't find any so could we use the same one from the powder room? They would come and and ask for money and I would repeatedly tell them to let me know a day or two in advance so money could be transferred. I don't regularly keep thousands of dollars in my checking account, yet every time they ask for money it was the same...they wanted it that day. Jenny clearly has a problem with talking to people and except for the one time she called, screamed at me and hung up she only corresponded through text. At the end of the project I owed them $600 but I had told them I wanted to make sure everything worked properly and there were no problems before providing final payment as I wasn't sure I could count on them to return to fix any problems. I wish I could include the string of text messages Jenny sent about this as anyone who read it would never use Innovative Remodelers if they have to deal with Jenny. After paying them close to $45,000 you would have thought that the $600 I owed them meant they had to move out of their house if I didn't pay. Just to be clear I did pay, and the check cleared my account Both my husband and I own businesses so we understand how to work with customers and how the customer experience is often more important than the results. While their work was really top notch and I have no complaints about the quality of the work I could never recommend them as how they run their business is beyond awful. One of my neighbors had 2 bathrooms they wanted redone and a friend has a addition of a bedroom/bathroom she wants added to her first floor. Both had come by to see their work and would have likely contacted them. But based on what I shared with them about the challenges I experienced working with them (truly mostly Jenny) I could never recommend them to anyone. Bottom line they were a huge disappointment to us. If you truly don't care whether you have a working relationship with your contractor, can accept the communication you have is all through text, don't mind being lied to and screamed at when things don't go their way, and only care about the end result of the quality then you should hire them. If on the other hand you want quality work AND to be able to count on the people you have hired and be able to speak with them as adults and have the work finished roughly on time then these aren't the contractors to hire. The Service provider sent me a text. Offering to pay me $150 , if I removed this review. I think it speaks to the ethics of the provider.

I used them in the past rehired them to do my bathroom. The bathroom turned out beautifully they got rid of the pink and blue tiles that's been there forever finally everything is modern and updated. Jenny and Gary excellent took the time to assist with the materials. And the crew was great.

Our bathroom update went great! Unfortunately we had someone do our bathroom but the work was horrible. The shower tiles were not set correctly so the water would never go down. Gary and Jenny’s team were able to fix the bathroom. They ended up making the shower bigger and included more features such as grab bar and seat. The quality of the work was so impressive. Their work really showed me how bad the old shower was. The shower looks like it should be in a upscale hotel. They did a great job!

Jenny and Gary are great! They listen to the customer and go above and beyond to ensure they are satisfied. Highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Jenny and Gary came out and remodeled my kitchen. It was old and was dated I need a new cabinets, floors, countertops, appliances, lighting, plumbing and electrical issues. They converted it into a space that I can't get enough off. I now have a space where I can entertain people sit and have coffee. It's amazing I love it and I can't thank them enough for the beautiful design and all the hard work they put into it. I will definitely recommend them to everyone.

I am so impressed with the work that was done to renovate our basement! Our old basement was so dated that included panels on the walls. You would not believe it’s the same house. The basement is beautiful and more modern. I thought the project would take months but the team was was able to come in and complete the job in a few weeks!!! I can’t say enough about the quality of the work. Gary and Jenny are fabulous and I love working with them. Their team is professional and focused. Gary and Jenny are creative as we also ended up created another bedroom to make the space more useful. We expanded our bathroom to include a shower. The tile selections are beautiful and it’s as if the shower was always a part of the space.

I hired Innovative Remodelers who are my neighbors to remodel my bathroom. I usually don't hire people within the neighborhood because I don't want to have issues with them if the job doesn't turn out right but in this instance I'm very glad I went with them. The bathroom turned out unbelievable. Jenny helped me with the designs and Gary managed the day-to-day activities and the structural details of the job. All in all I'm very happy and would recommend them to everyone.

Jenny and Gary were a pleasure to work with. Their team consisted of diligent workers who started the job on time everyday and the entire project was completed within the agreed upon timeline. Jenny's color scheme and design were in line with what we had in mind so didn't feel the need to make any changes to the original plan. Gary was always available to answer any questions/concerns. Will hire again.

Got a crappy faucet and gave them my good one to install. Instead they took it and never returned. That item was over $70 and I can't even get them to bring it back or re-inmburse me for the costs. How is this company still on Angies List?????? THIS IS STEALING!!!!

The work was excellent. For the bathroom remodel (new floors, install new toilet and painting), they worked with our required time constraints and was professionally done in an efficient manner. When the new toilet had defects, they went out of their way to get a new one over the weekend and installed it efficiently. For the kitchen backsplash, it was again done really well. The place was cleaned up nicely after the day of work. I would recommend them to others.

Everyday went well. It was a 3-wk job that was delayed by appliances we ordered arrived late. They worked with us to ensure that the appliances would be installed and job completed. The crew was very respectful and at the end of each day, they made sure that the work site was swept clean.
