The guy who came to our house said he was a lead at their company and was there working with his boss. They gauged our wall, which I understand happens.. but they didn’t apologize or acknowledge. The caulking was very sloppy and excessive. My biggest frustration is they screwed right into my cupboards with multiple screws splitting my brand new custom cupboards. Everyone who works with cabinetry seems to know you pre drill the holes. These guys were just too lazy to drill the holes, so the cracked both sides of my cabinet near the dishwasher and didn’t say anything to me. They said they will fix it by filling in the cracks with wood puddy. Wouldn’t recommend this company given their overall sloppiness and disregard for my property. Also please note that these were not new employees as the individual told me his placement in the company.

Hired through Lowe's for a small kitchen remodel. They came out and took measurements but then held up the project for 6.5 weeks while demanding an extra $500 from Lowe's to walk down a long hallway to our condo (no single piece was more than 5 ft). When they FINALLY showed up, 3 weeks after initially expected, 3 installers were busy chatting while taking hours to install the kitchen countertop. I expected to receive written care instructions, they had none, but verbally told me not to put anything hot on the one seam. After they left we found poor fitting edges wherever a backsplash wasn't installed, the worst being a gap that went from 1/4 inch to nearly an inch away from the wall. They sloppily filled these gaps with a semi-clear, grayish silicone that looks terrible. Lowe's, and us, refused to accept this poor quality work and "Inspiration" took another 6 weeks before coming out with trim pieces to cover these gaps. At least we could use our kitchen on this last delay, but because of Inspiration, we had NO kitchen for over 6 weeks longer than it should have been. We will NEVER use these people again and have shared this with Lowe's, who is also reconsidering using these people. They are apparently delaying nearly EVERY project they are doing through Lowe's. AVOID if you want quality work and a reasonable installation time.

The process went smoothly and the counters look great. I was impressed with their display and slab room. We had 75 square feet of quartz installed and they did a good job through the process. David was our rep, Christian measured and Jeff installed. Each of them was able to answer the questions I had and they did a really good job on the seams. I did not realize there were so many different options and all options. Have charges for that particular option. The only concern I had with the install is I did not like the way they mounted the sink to the underside of the quartz with silicon and two boards one on each side. I actually took the boards off and replaced them to cover the full width of the sides of the sink. I would certainly use them again but would make I paid closer attention to how the specifics of how they would install the product.

The install went well. The quality of the end product is not acceptable. Poor seam quality. I made the purchase through Lowes. Inspiration Design Center is not standing behind their workmanship and not willing to make it right for the customer. If they are not standing behind their work and quality for this project - will they stand behind any project?

After they installed the granite counter, it didn't look the same as the one we selected. It didn't have the vivid colors we approved. Also, we never heard from them after. No call, text, or email to see if we were satisfied. It took me many calls and messages to get them to call me back. It was when I emailed I was going to complain to the BBB that I got a response. I was not happy how they used what looked like salvaged wood to support the new sink. They tried to talk me into accepting it but finally said they would send someone back. I never heard from them again. People like me are just too busy too keep calling them.

Inspiration Design does a great job designing, quoting and completing our projects. Their staff and craftsmen are superb. Punctual, timely and very respectful of our home. I would have no qualms about hiring them again. The kitchen was refaceed and granite and tile added. The bathroom was gutted down to the studs, plumbing moved, and footprint completely redesigned.

Great! They were very professional and kept me informed throughout the whole process.

Inspiration design review We were told by Inspiration Design that it would take about a week to ten days from when base cabinets were measured to get counter tops installed. As you can see by the timeline below, it took five times that to finally get counter tops. June 8th - measurer showed up in the am to do lazer measurement. Later that day received a call and two measures came back in the afternoon and re-measured everything. June 15th, a week later was informed that they would have to come out and re measure again. June 16th - third measurement took place to verify all dimensions June 24th - installers show up and find out that cut out for stove was off center by about three inches, won't work. This mis measurement(after three measurements) results in two pieces needing to be recut. Installers attempt to put in the rest of the tops but end up cracking a piece. This piece is returned and fixed. No counter tops installed still July 8th (one month after initial measurement)- counter tops are installed. During the installation I note to the installers that the cooktop cut out is too big. Installers calls Inspiration Design and they reassures us that the cut out is correct. I assume since this company must do cooktop cut outs frequently that I must be wrong. July 11th - I email Company with my concern about cooktop measurement and they double check and discover that indeed the measure this too big. The cut out was cut to the product size not the cut out size. July 13th - trimmer comes to house and puts in two pieces of wood which do absolutely nothing to fix the cut out dimension. July 14th - cooktop is delivered and as we thought does not cover the cut out, it just drops straight through. It has been over five weeks now and we still don't have counter tops in as promised. We paid in full for all of this over three weeks ago! How do you charge someone for a product that isn't even delivered??? Now, counter tops are installed incorrectly and I still cannot finish up kitchen and have had to put other contractors on hold which further delays my project July 19th(six weeks and counting) They finally show up with a piece that has the right dimension cut for the stove top. Unfortunately they had to put another seam between the pieces and it did not digitally line up as before. This seam looks horrible compared to the others. I paid $600 for a digital layout but since they only had one piece left they couldn't match up the last one very well. Further more, this last piece was measured wrong from the wall resulting in a half inch space between the counter and the wall. I cannot find a back splash thick enough to cover the gap. With all of the install and uninstalling of countertops, they ended up gouging a cabinet door and gouging my brand new hard wood floors. Nothing was offered to me to offset the cost of me having to replace the door or fixing the floor. I talked with inspiration design about a partial refund and they said they don't do those. They had my money over a month ago when I was charged the full amount for the project. They charged me the full amount one month prior to the project being complete!!! I had no leverage on them at this point. The only thing they offered me was a gift card and they said they would be in contact with me. That was over two weeks ago and I haven't heard anything from them. A full customer service!! I would avoided this company at all costs! The communication between the customer and the various departments within the company is horrendous. Half of the time I wouldn't know who to contact and when I did talk to someone about a problem they seemed clueless to my situation.

<p>We selected Inspiration Design for a kitchen remodel project that included a new quartz countertop, sink, faucet and glass mosaic backsplash. The final product looks fantastic. There were several things that occurred during the installation that were concerning, and that is why we rated them as a “B”.</p> <p>We really enjoyed working with the designer and appreciated Nancy's insight and advice on the product selections. We also liked that Nancy was not pushy in advocating for particular products or designs – she wanted to be sure the design was what we wanted.</p> <p>During installation, the countertop installers found out that the peninsula slab was not cut correctly. (This after a technician had spent 2 ½ hrs measuring the kitchen using a computer laser.) Luckily, the error could be resolved by cutting the new slab. They were able to get the new slab cut very quickly, and this only delayed the project by 2 days. The countertop installers did a great job. The slab needed to be seamed in two places, and these are barely noticeable.</p> <p>For the plumbing hookup, we had a slow leak in the sink plumbing that was causing a calcified deposit on an intake pipe. We had asked Inspiration to fix this during the install. We had to call the plumber back once because the pipe was still leaking.</p> <p>The backsplash tile looks great, but the tile install team did not do a good job cleaning up after themselves. I spent at least two hours cleaning cabinets and flooring after they left. They also left silicone smudges on our brand new quartz countertop. I found some mosaic glass in the grass in our front yard.</p> <p>Inspiration had dedicated individuals for scheduling the teams, but there was a little hiccup in scheduling. The scheduler gave me a 12 to 2 window for the second countertop installation, but the team arrived at 8 am.</p> <p>We are very pleased with our new kitchen – it looks fantastic and seems like it will hold up for many years. We expect that installation glitches can occur, but felt that Inspiration Design could have prevented some of the glitches.</p>

They were very good. We had a good quality of interaction and the workers were professional. We were pleased with the end product.

It was a disaster, We met with them when the design was ready at the design studio and their design had 3 ft more of kitchen than we even had. Their design didn't match our kitchen footprint. For them to say we could change our cabinets and extend the island the dimensions were incorrect. Their excuse was final measurements are taken before the design was finalized. We were disappointing in them, and they were unwilling to admit the flaw in the design.

<strong>Fabulous</strong> to work with and we love the end result!  Everyone we worked with was professional, prompt, personable, and very easy to work with.  Originally met Steve and Dani at the Home Improvement Show and then worked with Teresa, Scott, Alicia and Brian.  There were many others (plumber, heating, electric, drywall/ceiling, flooring and I'm sure I'm missing some in there) involved and again, all of them were great to work with and did excellent work.  There was no pressure to do anything we didn't want to do and Inspiration offered up suggestions along the way.  Brian was always there when he said he would be there, did fabulous work, kept us informed, and always left the place clean when he was done - thank you!  We were impressed with Inspiration from the start and our entire experience with them was great.  You may pay a little more to have the convenience of everything handled by one contractor and to have a designer work with you and the ability to pick out everything needed for the project in one place, but in our opinion it is WELL worth the investment and peace of mind that we got.  We spoke to other contractors who didn't have all of those items and frankly, didn't seem interested in us as the customer (like Inspiration did) - and we didn't want to end up with a horror story project gone wrong or delayed like you hear about.  We would gladly recommend Inspiration Design Center to others.  We have received many compliments on the "new" house and have told everyone who we used and that if they are thinking of remodeling, they should give them a call! <br />
