After the 100+ temperature week we had in San Antonio, our AC struggling to cool, so we finally gave in and decided to make a call for insulation. We could feel the heat in the walls form the sun, so we spoke to Manuel at Insulation Works asking for a quote for wall insulation. He explained that while he could install insulation in the walls, it was likely not the problem, he suspected it was really our attic that needed insulation. He came to our home and gave us a quote for the walls and the attic. The attic had 2-4 inches of insulation while CPA recommends 13.5 inches. Our attic definitely needed some attention too. He explained how the walls cost much more to insulate but he really thinks we could get the best value just doing the attic which will not only cost less but would also cool the entire house, not just the rooms we added the wall insulation to. He explained how if we got attic insulation, we may not even want wall insulation, so he recommended we wait on the walls, and he could come back later if we decided we still wanted them done. The team, Manuel and Mari, came over and got to work within 2 days. They were both so very nice, friendly and professional. They wrapped my furniture and the floors to protect it from any dust or damage. They even brought corner protectors to protect my walls from any potential damage. They had all the professional machinery and tools needed to get the attic done quickly and correctly. In the end I had 17-18 inches of insulation in my attic. They quickly cleaned up and even vacuumed although there was not much of any mess I could even see. The team worked with me on filling out the rebate from CPS and even worked it out from our estimate. We didn't even know there was a rebate available. It felt like we were dealing with family even though we didn't know them before we made that call. We immediately felt a difference in the house and now that it's the day after it's amazing how much cooler the house is, and my AC is not having to work so hard. I don't even feel like the walls needed to be insulated anymore! He was right! There are so many companies that would have jumped at the chance to just charge me for the walls and attic, but Manuel was so honest it really blew us away. If we decide later, we want to add insulation to the walls we know exactly who we will be calling. If anyone needs any insulation work done, we definitely recommend Insulation Works!

Insulation Works was exceptional and LOCAL! The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. They wore disposable shoe covers to protect the floor, provided me with before & after pictures of their work, and their price was affordable. I chose Insulation Works over another company that had also provided a bid because Insulation Works took the time to explain the insulation differences between spray & foam, they did NOT have a random salesperson representing theIr company, and Insulation Works also took the extra step of sealing the doorframes to maximize temperature control inside my older home. I would definitely recommend Insulation Works to my friends, family, co-works, and community. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It went perfect. When I first called I was looking to have radiant barrier done. They took the time to explain issues they had noticed with radiant barrier and advise to go with blown in insulation even though it was less expensive. They could had just sold me the more expensive radiant barrier and I would have never known about the issues. Nice to know there are still honest contractors out there. They even helped with my CPS rebate. They were on time and when they finished they not only cleaned up but left the area cleaner than it was before they started. Would 100% hire them again.

I can't give enough praise for Manuel and his team. I was referred their business and couldn't be happier. Not only were they very professional, responsive and helpful, they put themselves in my shoes to recommend the best solution. I personally had to reschedule my install day last minute and they worked with me while thanking me again for my business. They tarped off the work area, which contractors seem to forget now days and cleaned up when complete. They really are the whole package and I would recommend them to anyone.

Great work and very professional

These people are great. They provided a competitive bid which we reviewed to three other companies and accepted. They explained how they would do the work and why they made the recommendations that they had made. They communicated with us between bid acceptance and job day to let us know their progress. They arrived on time. Their truck and tools were clean and organized. They prepped our home with plastic sheeting and tarps to collect any debris that may have fallen. They removed all of the sheeting, tarps etc and took it with them. They completed the task in less time then expected yet provided a greater r factor insulation (deeper fill) than the bid required. Very polite, respectful people. We've already recommended them to two friends! My wife and I are looking forward to this summer and the change this will make in our comfort and electric bills! Highly recommend them.

EVerything went very well. It was a little expensive, but they did make offers to make it more affordable.

I needed to add insulation over my existing insulation so I wanted to get 3 estimates. Mr. Manuel Contreras Owner of Insulation Works was the first person I scheduled. He did a thorough inspection of every square foot of my attic and recommended all the old insulation be removed because it was contaminated with varmint feces which smelled really bad. He showed me photos of everything he saw including a couple of dead rats and recommended my attic be sanitized and deodorized to remove all odors and bacteria which were a health hazard before installation of any new insulation. He said he would use an Ozone Machine in my attic to ensure all odors and bacteria were removed. Mr. Contreras gave me a quote for R38 Fiberglass Insulation to increase my home's energy efficiency. He informed me of an available CPS Rebate and said he was a CPS Approved Installer and offered to assist me in filing for the rebate which made it easy for me right away. Mr. Contreras told me Insulation Works is a Family Business doing business in the San Antonio area for over 20 Years and that he strictly adheres to the principle of doing the job right the first time every time and at a fair competitive price. I was very impressed with his knowledge and I felt so confident with him that I decided to let him do the job without obtaining any further quotes and we scheduled the work. His schedule was busy, out a couple of weeks but he offered to do the work on a Sunday which I greatly appreciated. After the work was done my attic looked Amazing and smelled as fresh as the inside of our home. He even left several rulers to show the height measurement of the fiberglass insulation. He cleaned thoroughly after the job and even sanitized my Furnace and Water Heater Closets at no extra charge and when he noticed my exterior doors needed new weather stripping he replaced the old weather stripping on three doors as a courtesy at no cost to me. It's an understatement to say Insulation Works provided me Professionl Service done right. Without any question I will use his company again and I Highly Recommend Insulation Works to anyone interested in having their attic insulated the Professional way.

Could not have asked for a more professional company. Manuel Contreras (Owner) and Mari were professional from the get go. I needed worked done immediately. We had many late night phone calls trying to get this accomplished. I had other companies come in and provide a bid only to for them to say they couldn't help me. Not Manual, he said he had never seen a house he couldn't insulate. They even came out on a Sunday and performed the work so we could close on our home the next day. We have 3,000 square foot home and they did a great job. They were meticulous with their clean up as well. Covered furnishings and floors to protect them. I will NEVER buy another house without Manuel from Insulation Works to inspect the insulation. I will definitely hire him again. This company knows what their doing. Easily the best experience I have had with any contractor in this area after one year of maintaining a 100 year old home! They were punctual and accommodating and went out of their way to ensure complete, quality work at fair prices. I was ready to do a much larger project but found it was unnecessary with their assistance. Highly recommend Insulation Works for any home energy needs.

The company was very easy to deal with and they accommodated my request for an after-five p.m. appointment to provide a quote. On the day of the work, they arrived at the scheduled time and did the work promptly. They were very careful to keep the house clean as the job was done. It seems as though the a/c is not working as hard to keep the house cool as prior to the installation, but I will be waiting to see what the impact is on my electric bill.

Manuel and Mari are wonderful, wonderful to work with. My initial call was around 6 pm and I didn't expect a return call until the following day. Mari called me right back that same evening. Manuel came out to give us a quote and made some recommendations that were helpful. He was always conscience of cost (which we greatly appreciated), and didn't push for anything that was beyond what was needed. They helped with our CPS rebate. The insulation made a significant difference in the comfort of the home. From start to finish, everything was handled timely and with a sincere, heartfelt effort to help their customers.
