Integrity Exterior Solutions

In early August 2020, I put a request into Homeadvisor looking for a contractor to replace my roof, siding and gutters as well as paint. A sales rep from Integrity Exterior Solutions promptly responded and scheduled an appointment to get me a quote the next day. The sales rep came and wrote up the quote while the company’s owner sat in the truck in the driveway. The quote was reasonable, and the sales rep stated that they could get started right away if I accepted their contract. All of the websites I looked at had them at 4-5 stars. I signed a contract to have a roof, siding, gutters replaced as well as have the siding painted. I paid in full and was told that they would have it done in 8-12 weeks. The roofers arrived within 2 weeks. I had specifically asked that ridge vent/edge vent be put on the roof in lieu of traditional attic vents which was reflected in the contract. I looked at the roofing materials when they arrived and discovered that no ridge vent was ordered. I called the Integrity sales rep and he said he would take care of it. The roof was then installed WITHOUT the ridge vent. In mid-November 2020 they still hadn't started on the siding or gutters. After dozens of unreturned phone calls, I finally got ahold of someone and found out that they hadn't even ordered the siding. They stated that the previous project manager had been fired and that somehow this justified why they hadn’t started siding my house. They promised that it was all a big mistake and that my job was their #1 priority. 3 weeks passed and materials still hadn’t been delivered. At this point I was agitated to say the least. I got ahold of the original sales rep and asked him what was going on. His demeanor over the phone was hostile. He basically screamed that he was doing everything he could and gave another line of excuses attempting to absolve himself or Integrity Exterior Solutions of any responsibility. By late-December, the siding materials had finally arrived and there was a siding crew working on the house. When the siding was halfway installed, the crew packed up all of their tools and left. The crew foreman stated that Integrity wasn’t going to pay him what they had quoted him and they weren’t coming back until he did. They left the house without siding as they had already torn off the original lap siding. The crew showed back up a couple of weeks later, eventually finishing the siding (unpainted) in mid-January. The crew said they would be back to install the garage door weather-stripping once the house had been painted. To date (7-27-2021) the weather-stripping they tore off to install siding has not been replaced. In late January 2021 we got quite a bit of snow. At this time, we discovered that one of our skylights was leaking. I called Integrity Exterior Solutions and asked them to come out and fix it. It was April before anyone came out. The ceiling drywall is now damaged. They finally sent a painter out in early May 2021, approximately 39 weeks after I had signed the contract. This was 7 months longer their original estimate. After the painter finished, Integrity attempted to charge an additional $2800 for unexpected construction costs that occurred in December that they had not gotten my approval for. After pointing out that we had paid in full in August 2020, and that they still hadn’t installed the edge vent/ridge vent and that we had been waiting almost a year for them to complete the work, he decided that he wouldn’t charge us the additional $2800. There are additional issues, but I am only limited to so many characters. Looking back, I wish I had read into the poor reviews of this company instead of the star rating.

I am a builder, and I own a construction company. We were undergoing a project in the New England area. We got an Integrity Exterior Solutions reference, and they helped us in making windows in the houses we were building. They have accuracy in installing windows, and they correctly compute the size and resolutions as per the home and suggest related design. They are the best exterior solutions provider in the Lincoln area.

Terrible experience!! I am living in a house which is almost 15 years old so there are certain issues that arise on my roof like shingles started buckling, the roof was sagging, flashing problems and some leakage issues. After acknowledging the positive reviews on yelp, I called Jason for the price estimate which I have to incur. The prices he had quoted were more than fair. He had sent their workmen at the scheduled time. The entire working procedure was very smooth. I felt lucky that I had made a decision to hire this company.

We have had a terrible experience with Integrity with our egress windows. It took forever to schedule. First off, they ordered the wrong windows and said it would be months before the color we had originally ordered could get it. Once we agreed to the wrong color we finally had the installation scheduled. When we scheduled we told them it had to be done by Thursday. They started Tuesday but didn’t get started until 2:00 because they didn’t have an extractor. One of the contractors told us he had hand surgery the next morning (Wednesday) and wouldn’t be able to get out until around 11am following his surgery. They showed up at 2pm and said they would be be able to work late and get one if the two windows installed. They stayed until 5 without even cutting the hole for the first window. Project manager, Mike, came out Wednesday to check in and reassured us the project would be done by Thursday. The contractor said he would be out a Thursday by 7:30am but arrived at 8:30am and said he was because of the drugs. Worked until 3:30pm he said he needed to get a new saw and would be back but never came back. The project manager came out again to assess and we told him our concerns and he said he would get it taken care of. We scheduled again for next Tuesday which we took PTO for the 4th day and no contractors showed up and we got zero answers from the project manager or the company after calling multiple times. Would not recommend at all. We will see if our issues get resolved. In four days, the contractors have worked a total of 12 hours. Horrendous and very unprofessional so far.

Our experience with Integrity was the worst we’ve had with a construction company. Poor planning/management, quality of work, and lack of communication were all issues. We signed a contract in early March with Integrity for siding, gutters, deck and patio. Issues were experienced throughout the project, too many to list them all. The major issues…Deck torn off on May 28th and completed Aug. 3rd. Deck is the wrong size but we did receive a small credit. Patio torn up in early June, completed Aug. 26th. Patio had to be poured twice because Integrity did not complete it correctly the first time. In the end, did we get what we contracted for?…yes, but it wasn’t worth it. We dealt with materials in our driveway or dumpsters in the street for 5 months and a backyard that was torn up for 3 months. As a customer, we shouldn’t have to manage the project and stay on top of it. Integrity only showed up once to check on our project without us requesting it. Once the siding and gutters were complete, it appeared the rest of the project would get done at their convenience. Integrity indicated there were not available contractors, but that issue disappeared with the deck and concrete when we complained loud and long enough. There were plenty of excuses, but never an apology or ‘thank you’ until after the final bill was paid. Not what you would expect from a company named “Integrity”.

Financed through them and was billed 100% of building cost within four days of signing contract. I believe I was fed a line of manure at the time of sale about multiple building discounts, use of financing and timeline. They stated eight weeks but took five months with me constantly hounding them. In the end Integrity didn’t build a thing. They simply subcontracted a concrete company and then had another company come install the building. Numerous issues over door placement which was clear from the beginning. I think they probably profited about 6k to make a few calls. I never received an invoice with cost breakdown. On the positive side, owner Tom did come through with two out of three things he had said he would do to smooth things over and that was appreciated. They were also pretty good with communication when you call them. Both the owner and sales guy were personable.

very well. The contracted employees were very conscientious and professional. They were polite and helpful in answering my questions. Thank you to all who assisted me in the decision making and the completion of the project. I recommend Integrity Exterior Solutions for their commitment to making sure I was a satisfied customer.

At times there was some miscommunication, but the job was done with professionalism and great team work. Overall it went really well

Very well! They know what they were doing. The insurance paid for it. They were on time.

We have asbestos shingles and another company removed the shingles. Integrity Exterior Solutions contract was to put the new shingles on. I checked into other companies that did both removal and replacement, but it was $1000 less to go with two separate companies. The shingles placed were Owens Corning TruDefinition - color harbor blue. The two companies coordinated well and had the job done in three days all together. They probably could have done it sooner, but there was a delay of about several hours waiting for the shingles to show up. After the asbestos shingles were removed and the new shingles arrived, the team worked fast and stayed until dark. Some cons: afterwards, we did find nails and roofing material in the gutters, flower pots, and in the yard. It was about a bucket full of material. Plus, there was large sheeting material left in the back yard. I know that a construction site can get messy, but the manager did say they would go through the yard and pick up any loose materials. We let the manager know, so he can let his team know and he was apologetic. Therefore the rating of a B.

Just OK. Work done was done in line with expectations. Biggest issues where the responsiveness of Integrity. Very difficult to get in touch with, project manager would often not respond to emails or phone calls. Would schedule work and sub contractors show up to our home with no advance notice. Deadlines were routinely missed with no explanation or reason why. As the customer, I was forced to drive the project and ensure it stayed on time. Had I not been aggressive in this area, I'm not sure when this project would have been completed. As it was, the project took 6+ months.

Very poor customer service and problems with billing. Clean up job was terrible and we ended up spending hours scouring the yard and driveway for nails. Will not use again

At first we were really happy. They worked with the insurance company very well. However, as the job went on, things got worse and worse. Their communication was ****-poor at best, and then they put the wrong color gutters on the house. I am incredibly unhappy with the entire experience and will never recommend them. "Integrity" is clearly just a name, not a behavior.

This was a HUGE job. Our home is an older 2 story that needed major updating. The roof was 2 layers plus shake shingles that had to be removed. We had the contractor take down the old brick chimney and old TV antennae. They worked on days in between the heavy rains we have had this year. We had a bad storm during this process and had some water leakage. Tom was on it immediately! Brought out a dehumidifier and fans to minimize any more damage. This was very appreciated! The siding crew performed by the siding crew was top notch! since our home is an older home everything was custom cut to fit. It looks amazing. Very happy! Overall, our experience with Integrity Exterior Solutions has been very positive. Tom has gone the extra mile to work with my insurance company (some of the work was from storm damage). This was also much appreciated too. <br />

The process was slow going due to weather, once construction got started it went fairly quick. At times it was rather difficult to get an answer on questions that we had or a response at all. There were some issues with the final contract as well, although those were resolved rather quickly it seems they could ahve been avoided with some better communication. <br /> <br /> <br /> Overall we are very pleased with the quality of work and finished product, the process to get there was just a little rough.

It went great!  First, we were in the process of buying a home that needed the roof replaced.  He was able to give a bid and get the work completed within about a week from bid to completion.  Helped with color selection (we picked a bad color for metal and he called us to see if we wanted it changed instead of just installing what we asked for!).  Couldn't ask for a more knowledgable provider.  We will use them again in the future! <br />
