They did everything just as I wanted. They were very helpful and worked very hard. Were added several things to our original job and it was all done in a timely manner. My bathroom remodels performed by Intelligent Home Services were the best contractor experience I’ve ever had. They performed the work on schedule, were extremely communicative throughout the process giving me daily updates on work to be performed and when to expect the craftsmen to show up, and performed quality work all for a great price. They were even there for me when unexpected water damage due to my upstairs neighbor’s pipe led to me having to jump right into a master bathroom remodel one week after finishing the spare. The tile and drywall work were impeccable. Ben, the owner and licensed contractor, stayed involved throughout the process and made frequent visits to check out the work. I am a professional engineer who works with contractors regularly so I know good project management and construction services when I see them. If you’re looking for a contractor with knowledge and integrity who can perform quality work quickly and for a great price, then look no further.

Nightmare. Partial bathroom remodel took 47 days to complete. Supervisor Ben did not do any supervising of subs and was a poor communicator. WE did our best to supervise subs & caught an improper shower floor installation. One of many unnecessary delays in the project. The worst contractor experience I've ever had.

"The master bathroom remodel did take longer than anticipated. The only “parts” of the 120sqft Master Bathroom we did not replace was the vanity and mirror. From shower/bath, toilet, flooring (all tile), pony wall, lighting, etc., this was essentially a full replacement/upgrade to ADA Accessible curb-less/non slip shower and stand alone tub (tub provided by home owner). Due to the plumbing configuration/placement of the tub, another 25% of the concrete bathroom floor had to be cut out and replaced, along with the appropriate plumbing. For the delay, the customer was provided a credit amounting almost $3,000.00!! Significant additional work was required which contributed to the project completion time frame. The finish product looks great, and I’ve uploaded pics to our Angi Profile. The occupant is happy, and pleased with the new ADA upgrades. Please keep in mind, painting was not in our scope of work."

Very poorly.. Ben is not licensed and should never have been allowed to participate in leads with Angi's list. His company is operating illegally because his license expired several years ago! Nothing has moved forward with our project and he placed the permit on hold. There has been no work performed at all. A full refund is what I expect for non-performance.

My wife on hospice now can easily step into an excellent show stall instead of the old tub and shower combo. The new unit is easier to clean and offers no places that I can see where mold is likely to grow. Cleaning used to be a major chore, just keeping mold in check.

My wife and I couldn’t have been happier with the service provided by Intelligent Home Services. After speaking with a bunch of “salesmen” from other companies half of which couldn’t read a tape measure, it was great to know I could call and speak to an actual licensed general contractor. I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking to have a home improvement project done. In spring when we redo the bathroom I will be using them again!!!

WOW! Being on a fixed income you know EVERY dollar is important to me! I'd wanted and DRASTICALLY needed a bathroom remodel for YEARS but assumed it was WAY out of my budget! Curious though, I went shopping. Most companies estimates confirmed my worries about cost, and while some were affordable they lacked in other areas - quality, customer service, warranty, etc. When I related my findings to a friend he said members of their family had work done by a company called Intelligent Home Services and HIGHLY recommend them! His family was not only overjoyed with all aspects of the company but it increased the value of their home by much more than what it cost! So, I contacted IHS, everyone was so nice, informative, and helpful! They arranged financing was straightforward, explained and everything. It was great from start to finish! In fact I was SO HAPPY that I had Intelligent Home Services install a Screened Patio cover! EXCELLENT VALUE- THE BEST!!!
