Tom from Lake Region recently installed four new exterior doors for us, and he did a great job! The project included a sliding glass door, a front door with sidelights, and two other single exterior doors. I only included pictures of the old to new front door, due to Angi’s limitation on file size. Tom's workmanship is top-notch. He was clean, efficient, and very knowledgeable. He ensured everything was perfectly aligned, sealed, and finished. He even hauled the old doors away. We are particularly happy with the front door entryway; the installation of the door and sidelights was flawless and has greatly improved our home's curb appeal. He is a true professional who delivers on his promises. I would not hesitate to hire him again for any future work.

We needed 2 exterior doors replaced and also a garage door replaced with a sliding door. He was prompt to call and come out to give us a quote and provided answers to all of our questions. These two amazing guys came into my home and fixed a issues with a patio door that had been leaking for more than 10 years. We kept trying to fix the issues ourselves. The last time we tried fixing it we saw the wood rot under the patio door that was going out to our deck. We had 5 contractors bid. We hired Tom and he had Randy work with him. We were scared what he might find! Tom explained everything step by step. They worked tirelessly from 7:00-12:00p in the hot sun and humidity. They installed the new patio door and fixed the ledger board and other rotted wood. When he left it appeared as if he had never been there! He charged a fair price that blew his competition away. I was impressed with my new patio door and felt totally sure we had insured a safer deck! Thank you Tom and Randy you made a miserable situation go away.

My old storm door was falling apart. I called to get input on getting a new one installed and Tom was very helpful and knowledgeable. He recommended a specific company and model that he said he's had good feedback and that's what I chose. He was out a couple days later and did the install in about an hour and the door he recommended is the most solid storm door I've ever seen! A+++++ would for sure use them again for other work and for sure recommend this company.

The door is unable to be taken off. He tried so that he could trouble shoot the reason it is hard to open and close.

Well-managed team of three showed up on time and replaced my rotting patio door with a beautiful new one in a few hours. Clearly experts in this--handled every challenge of my older (1969) house easily, explained everything that they did, and were respectful of my property/furnishings (and safely distanced from occupants). Cost was exactly the price they initially quoted--no hidden costs or upsells. Great experience; would definitely hire them for more work.

I hired The Patio Door Guys to install a new patio door for me ( a sliding door, 5 by 7 feet with sliding screen door). I had hired them previously to install a new front door, and I was so happy with it I had them come back to do the patio door. They came promptly and did an excellent job. It turned out my old patio door had been very unlevel, so they leveled the opening before putting in the new door. They put new siding around the new patio door on the outside, and put new trim on the inside around the door. The trim looks like a luxury to me, since the old door did not even have inside trim. The new door is an Alside brand door, and it is clearly very good quality. It slides nice and smooth and the lock works well. It takes up much more width than the "builder grade" door I had before, so I know it will have good insulation properties in the winter. It is designed to not collect so much dirt in the bottom track of the door. The screen door also has a lock. Everything was installed perfectly and they took the old door to dispose of it. The owner of the company was there on the job, supervising and working along with two other carpenters. The communication with me was very good before, during and after the installation. Tom even did some trim work and floor work in another area of my condo at no charge, just as an extra to help me out. Two other people in my condo complex have already asked about my new door, so I recommended The Patio Door Guys since I think they do such great work, and at a reasonable price. I would definitely hire them again for any patio door, outside door or window work in the future. 

Tom and his team were very professional throughout the patio door installation process. Tom was responsive and prompt. His team did a good job of communicating with me during the installation and they cleaned up well after the door was installed. The team treated me respectfully and wanted to be sure I was a satisfied customer--I am!

Fantastic! Super conscientious. Always with an eye to quality workmanship and minimum disruption. Assessed the job, made invaluable suggestions and then did a great job with the installation and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Not only would I hire them again, I'm trying to now! Good people are hard to find.

Amazing. Came out and gave estimate with no pressure to buy and was knowledgeable of product. Answered questions about warranty and install. Work was schedulded and completed all as quoted. Will use them on other propertys.

They are excellent. I had two other bids and they were the best. I would recommend them to anybody else. They were on time, they worked really hard and they got it done in a timely manner. We're happy with the quality of the door they put in, and they cleaned up really well. They were nice to be around and they really were excellent people. <br /> <br />

Tom has always been reasonably priced and has done quality work. His product is great quality and his installations are very professional. He is very punctual and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him.

The work was completed but the door was installed without reinstalling the alarm module which they claim they did not see. I had to pay to have the alarm company come out and reinstall a wireless module since the door was already installed. The owner who promised to do the work farmed it out to a third party installer although he came out afterwards to inspect the work.

Tom was exceptional to work with! Very professional and did great work! He was early on the day of the install and texted that he was on his way. The door looks great and he gave me additional advise on how to be energy efficient with our home. I would hire again! We actually asked if there are other jobs he could do around our house! Will have have him back to put our deck rails in!
