This was the second time I worked with Val and he was great to work with as always. It was a smaller project and he finished it super quickly but with great quality. Val brings a ton of great knowledge and is very collaborative. I've already recommended him to my neighbor and I won't hesitate to call him when I'm ready for my next project!

Val did an outstanding job on a few projects for our home. He built pocket doors in the bathroom, he added wainscoat to our hallway as an accent and he repaired several holes where lights had been. Val has an excellent work ethic and is timely. His work is outstanding.

Val was very great at understanding and conceptualizing what we wanted done with our kitchen. Price was reasonably and work was complete professionally and in a very reasonable timeline. I would absolutely consider hiring Val and his crew for future work to kitchens, bathrooms, and other projects within his scope of work.

Val and his guys did an amazing job after we had almost lost faith in contractors. They were the third company we tried for a bathroom remodel and we should have just called them first! They are reliable, work hard and met all of our expectations and very reasonably priced. I would recommend Val and his team as it was a fantastic experience.

They were both very professional and brought in personnel (installers and plumbers) that executed the job brilliantly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing kitchen renovations.

Excellent work. Could not be happier with results. Val estimated 2 weeks to complete and done on time. Excellent value and careful craftsmanship. Cost same as the so called “one day “ installations widely advertised nationally which in my opinion are way overpriced for prefab shower base and synthetic slab walls. This was a true high quality and custom job where each step requiring customer input was obtained to insure best results. Val is extremely hard working, reliable and a pleasure to work with. Jessica at Mosaic Tile was very helpful with selecting high quality and interesting design features . We selected a very low threshold 1 3/4” to allow safe easy access.

The reason for hiring Irish accents and renovations was due to a refrigerator water leak that occurred around 3 years ago, it was a small leak but did tremendous damage, and caused massive unseen damage. There were many estimates, but most other companies were overestimating and refused to work with my insurance company (Universal Property and Casualty Ins Company) due to them being very difficult to work with. In the meanwhile I was sick in and out of the hospital with double pneumonia and almost did not make it because my insurance company was so difficult to work with, and i had always been a healthy person not taking sick days or missing work. So i had to postpone the work in the kitchen till last November, hoping that my son from Cleveland would be able to do the work, but it was not to happen due to his untimely passing and then with the emotional turmoil it made everything difficult to complete anything. So in March i called insurance and they referred me to SURVPRO and they were only working in my kitchen for ten days exposing all the mold under the floor and in and behind the cabinets (and i belive my illnesses were due to the mold) but my insurance told them that they had to stop work due to not willing to pay them. And during that time i was placed with 14 different adjusters and none of them seemed to give the next any information on my case. There was excessive time between each adjuster, and i was without my kitchen for in excess of 90 days. any one in this situation would have been placed in a hotel by the insurance company but they refused to work with me. i an very grateful to my friends that introduced me to Mr. Val Little, he was fast, friendly, and professional during the entire job and a true professional, the best in his field, and i absolutely love my "NEW" kitchen.

We first found Val of Irish Accents and Renovations on here. He’s Irish, and he has the accent. It’s a great bonus. Initially we needed work done renovating a bedroom for our special needs child. We were looking at a fairly unique project geared towards safety. Where other contractors flat out refused to even consider the project, Val was more than willing. He came over, inspected the room, listened to our needs, helped offer solutions based on his experience, and then set to work. He was very flexible with the schedule, and completed the job faster than quoted. When we later needed assistance installing a special bed in the room, Val went the extra distance of removing and reinstalling a window to get it into the room. Following this, we used his services for two additional bedroom upgrades, which included removing old carpet, installing new luxury vinyl plank flooring, custom wood trim, painting, and some window work. Val was very detail orientated, and provided quality work. In each case he communicated with us, offering suggestions for how to accomplish what we wanted, and suggesting alternatives in an effort to reduce costs. TL; DR: Dude gets things done. Excellent communication, fast and high quality work. 10/10 would recommend. Will continue to use for our projects.

It was a full rip out, redesign Master bath. Everything was beautiful. A lot of attention to detail. Not super fast, but installed according to plans and aesthetics. Not the cheapest quote but not the most expensive.

We are very happy with the work done by Val Little of Irish Accents & Renovations. Val has done a few other projects for us, but this was by far the most complex. Val served as the general contractor, and coordinated with a wide range of others to completely redo our kitchen. In addition, Val did some of the detail work himself, including tile and trim, which pull everything together into a well-balanced, attractive, and wonderfully functional modern kitchen. We plan to use Val again for our next remodeling project!

Irish Accents went above and beyond to make sure my new kitchen was everything I wanted it to be, and more! I can't say enough about how much they care about their job, and it truly shows in their craftmanship! Will 100% refer my friends and family for any work they may need in the future!
