When you see Jason coming, don't walk, RUN!!!! He was supposed to show up for my job on Tuesday. I heard nothing from him, so I texted him, and he said he wasn't coming until Thursday. I got nervous, so I started researching him. Also, I reread his contract, which breaks so many rules for contracts governed by the Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act. The very first requirement is that the contractor provide and include his contractor license number on the contract. He did not have this on his contract, so I asked him for it multiple times, and he never provided it. He has a clause that allows him to not perform the work and keep your money. I let him know that I wanted to cancel the contract. PA State Law protects consumers with Act 132, which gives us the right to rescind a contract within 3 business days. I informed Jason, within 3 business days of my need to cancel the contract. His response was that my $2100 deposit was “non-refundable.”He hasn't shown up, and he did no work, but he keeps my money when he is legally required to return it. I suggest you do your research about him and read his “contract” carefully! BEWARE!!!

"The job was scheduled to start on the 15. I complete projects one after the other. I texted the client on the afternoon of the 14 and told her that I would be pushing the schedule back one day from the 15 to the 16 that I had some touch up work left on this current project she said no problem. I have that in text message. The next morning of the 15 I called the client about 10:00 am to let her know that everything was on schedule for the next day of the 16. Client said see you tomorrow. I told her that I would call her later that night just to confirm the start time as I do with with every client the night before we start a new project. At 7:30, after dropping off one of my employees on my way home. I called the client to let her know I would see her in the morning at 9:00 am I do this before every new project. This is when things got strange, her phone was picked up by a man claiming to be her husband when I signed the contract she introduced me to a different man she said was her boyfriend I could tell they were different people because of voice. The man claiming to be her husband ranted for 45 minutes about my contract, not being up to his standard he also told me he’s been a litigating Construction law for 20 years. I told him I have an MBA not and not a law degree, but my contract was a contract template wrote by my company’s lawyer witch is true he also put together my LLC. It was strange I had never met this person. In the end he said he wanted her deposit back and not to show up at the house the next day. I told him that I had already purchased material and the deposit was nonrefundable I asked again to speak with the woman who hired me and the gentleman hung up on me. I have still not been able to speak with the person that I signed the contract with. I don’t know what else to say. This whole thing is weird. I’ve done over 50 projects for Angies List i started in June with this marketing partnership. I had a perfect score of 5 stars prior to this job almost 10 reviews. My work quality is top-notch because I put my name on it. I’ve never had an issue with any other clients. I don’t know what else to say here."

Jason returned my messages promptly. He and his crew arrived on time and began the work straight away. The finished product is beautiful! They prepped the area very well and cleaned everything up when they were done. I would absolutely recommend them. A huge thank you for their effort during a medical emergency! Above and beyond the call!!!
