About a month ago I discovered my laptop was highly infected. I was ready to just chuck it and buy a new one. After reading reviews here and elsewhere I decided to call Luther. Let me tell you that it was a good call. First they tried to diagnose my problems remotely, but I also had hardware issues. So, Luther came to my house and took care of everything. He even hooked me up with some great antivirus software. The price I quoted included removing the multiple viruses and enhancing the performance on not only my laptop but also my partners laptop as well. And that's a same day house call. I honestly do not believe I can be excessive in recommending Luther to take care of your computer issues.The man is highly professional and trustworthy, something that is hard to find today. Plain and simple...I will trust no one else with my computer needs. <br />

I called Luther on Friday morning while I was at work and set up an appt. for the same day. He came to my place exactly on time. Very punctual. He's also very neat and clean in his appearance and work habits. After signing an agreement on price so everything was clear and showing him my list of problems, he got right to work. Luther checked everything for viruses and then got rid of a lot of things that were making my computer run super slow. Then, after discussion, he uninstalled my antivirus program and installed his preferred program, which was very streamlined and easy to use. I just sits, running, in the background and doesn't interfere with my browsing experience. Luther also, by chance, had some "used" memory that worked with my pc. So he took my (very dusty and dog hairy) unit outside, gave it a good blowout and installed the memory for a very reasonable price. Luther told me my computer still has room for improvement (room available for more memory) but that this should improve things. It did....immensely.  Luther more than gave me my money's worth, I have to say and my computer is running like it should. I try to do a lot of my own troubleshooting on my computer, but after this experience I know I'm a rank amateur.  I'm really happy with my computer for now and I'll definitely be giving him a call in the future when I'm looking for a computer tech. I'd recommend  Firefly Solutions to anyone.

Luther came to our house at the agreed time. He replaced the broken wireless card in my husband's computer. It is a very uncommon model produced by a small company, but Luther had no difficulty working with it. After installing the new card and checking it out, there was still some time left in our hour, so Luther did a "tune-up" of my computer,installing some security and cleanup software.  He knows his stuff and is very polite and totally professional. Considering that my husband did not have to take his computer to a shop, drop it off, pick it up,bring it home and set it up again, the $90 charge was extremely reasonable. We will certainly call him again whenever the need arises.

The quality of work was good. It was pretty in depth problem that we had in our computer. He was a nice guy. I would recommend him. For the repair and servicing, he was good. He knew his stuff. His price was good. I would probably use his services again in the future.

Luther turned out to be a very personable, neat, courteous, well-organized and amiable young gentleman in his 20s who seemed to know exactly what to do. He solved the problem in about 90 minutes but only charged for the one hour; no charge for travel time. The whole experience was a pleasure and the house call was most convenient; it was more like having a buddy come over to help out with a problem. He not only solved the problem but set up my router, which had been dormant for the last six months, at no extra charge.
