Fan in condenser was not working. 15 minute diagnosis demonstrated capacitor needed replacing. Replacement took another 15 minutes. Bill presented me had $89 charge for diagnosis … $160 for capacitor ($249 total). I questioned cost of capacitor … "parts are becoming very expensive, we use only made in USA parts". Google search provided this info: Amrad Engineering Round USA-Made Motor Run Capacitor, 60/5 Mfd, 370/440 Vac, $36.87 from 10+ stores. Call to their office to question capacitor charge was returned: "technician failed to break out labor costs of installation." I thought diagnosis was "labor". Logic and math do not match. It is always interesting to me when I find an everyday situation that so clearly defines a word that is too often misused … it seems this charge vs cost is near the top in describing “obscene”.

Fine told me I needed a new compressor

The installers came early with 3 or 4 people and finished at 5pm. Very professional and answered all my questions. They were city certified so I can apply for electric company rebate. I have a 10 year warranty for parts and labor. Very satisfied with the service and equipment.

I had company that was going to stay here but had to get a motel because it was too hot. He came over very promptly. Turns out we needed a new compressor. He did not do that work because we still had some warranty  left. <br />

Professional company,I recommend them. Had issue with a wire that got chopper by AC unit blade, they came next day and took care of problem. I'm very satisfied with all members of this company. <br />

They were great! They found that the issue was much smaller than I was originally told. They did the job at a reasonable price, and rather quickly! I've used them again since, and also referred them!

This company is absolutely wonderful. The technician was so kind, honest, and helpful. We ended up needing to replace on unit and they were able to schedule us for the very next day. Instead convincing us to replace both units, the technician was very honest and said we could get away with a small and inexpensive repair. Work was done beautifully, and everything works well. We will definitely use them again in the future! <br />

Professional and punctual. It's an older unit and I was prepared to be told that the entire unit needed to be repaired. The technician was honest and provided me a break even point for repairs vs replacement and even gave a price where I would braek even over the long run. Unit was up and running at a much lower cost than I anticipated. Was very pleased with all aspects- having dealt with three other companies previously  that left me feeling ripped off. <br />

Getting estimates I called 3 sources including the company that now services our A/C Heating. Jack Strickland came in slightly above one and way below the other. The important thing was he reread the warranty held with our current company and found they had overcharged me $396. He also pointed out other aspects of the warranty. <br /> When the warranty finally expired I called Jack Strickland and accepted his offer for the additional work I needed done. <br /> Polite, Prompt, Professional-can't say enough good. <br /> I'll be calling them soon to replace my current system. <br />

No problems at all. This same company installed my AC system back in 2002 and they still had me on record. I called on a Monday morning and the tech was at my door that afternoon. He was very friendly, clean, and professional. It was nothing major so he was in and out in less than an hour and my AC was back to normal. He just had to replace the capacitor that starts the fan going on the outside unit. Hope to squeeze a few more years out of this system before I have to replace it. When that time comes, I'll definitely give these guys a call for an estimate.  <br /> Almost forgot to mention, I saved 10% off the total service call with an Angie's List coupon. <br />

That service cost is because I added a special  filter system with a yearly filter replacement. Not all services cost are the same.but very reasonable priced with great service.
