well ...nice people.

I contacted this contractor through a submission form on their website. I never heard from them but found an estimate left at my house a few days later. I called the company twice and left messages asking to set up an appointment but never heard back. I reached out to a few more companies but no one could fit me in. A coworker of mine said he would do it for me and that is where it was left at. A few weeks later I come home from work and my driveway was sealed out of no where. I had no clue who did it and asked my coworker and he said he didnt get to it yet so I assumed it was this company. I called and spoke with Kim, it was a horrible interaction. I asked if her company did the work, she confirmed. I asked why she would come to my house and perform a service without ever speaking with me first, she said she was calling the wrong number but since no one called her back that she assumed it was ok to send the crew to my house. This is not ok and not good business practice, this is my property and I should know when someone is doing work on it. The rest of the call was her yelling at me with a few not nice words involved making this out to be my fault somehow. Unfortunately I now have to reimburse my coworker for the stuff he bought for my driveway along with the invoice this company just sent me. I will never use this company again or refer them to anyone, very unprofessional.

The seal coating didn't last through the summer. I called and they admitted some problems with the sealant. Said they would redo my driveway again and only charge me half. They then sent me a bill for the full amount.

McMillan crew applied what looked like watered down black coffee. It looked nothing like a petroleum product. Within a month it was flaking off and washed off by the rain. As it was fall, they agreed to come back in the spring and reapply. The winter removed all traces of any coating. I began calling McMillan in early spring and only after leaving a threat to file papers with the magistrate did they call back. They recoated in early August. The coating is again washing off. There is a similar post regarding their inferior product....McMillan has done numerous homes in our area and I am shocked at the decline in their quality. This was a total waste of $800.

This was a company I've used for so many years and unfortunately the last service I had in 2014 must have been of an inferior quality to what it was before as it blew completely off with my leafblower. In addition they overcharged me around $50 more than usual. In the future I'll be looking to use somebody else.

very well a girl came a day baefore and notified use they would be at the house the next day to apply the sealer. <br /> this was setup two weeks previous. We could no t be home when they were doing the job, they left the bill and envelope inthe door as mentioned. When the second coat neede I will call McMillan <br /> <br />

It's been over two years since McMillan sealed my driveway and it still looks good. They are the best!! <br />

First scheduled day they as a result of rain. They came back the next day and did a good job <br />

Did all the prep work, edging sweeping. Sealed the crack at the top of driveway the applied sealcoat to the rest of the driveway. Very friendly and professional. Good cleanup afterwards. <br />

Had to call several times after a month to see when they were coming to do the work. Finally, about 6 weeks later Kim sent two men to patch the driveway. The patching that was done was done well. McMillan requested $500 partial payment although the quote and Kim verbally stated that no money was to be exchanged until the job was complete. Did not mind after Kim explained she had some summer help she needed to pay. Kim stated she would be back in a couple of weeks to finish and seal. Have called several times over the last month, no answer and no one has called back even though messages have been left. Have contacted another asphalt company to finish the job. Very disappointed especially when Kim was so sincere about doing a good job in a timely manner. Do not use McMillan Asphalt!! <br /> <br /> <br />

We found McMillan through a Living Social deal. My husband called them on April 25 and was advised that they would be out to quote within a week. They did not show up. He then called them on May 15 and 17. Kim returned those calls on the 20th and finally came out to quote on May 21. We accepted the quote on May 23. We didn't hear back from McMillan so he called again on May 23 and 28. Kim returned the call on May 28 saying that, because of the rain they were backed up and she'd call when they had a date for us. We were patient and didn't start calling them again until July. July 8, 9, 10, 16 and 18, to be exact. None of those calls were returned so we contacted Living Social (who we no longer to subscribe to because their customer service sucks). It seems that it took Living Social nearly two weeks to get in touch with them. By that time we were asking for a credit, but Living Social forced us to have the service completed instead. After over three months of being essentially ignored by a company that already had half of their quote money in pocket, we had our driveway sealed on August 6. To their credit, they did an excellent job once they actually showed up. <br /> <br />

Contacted McMillian about a quote and they got back to me and came out and gave us a good price. Asked for them to quote my neighbors and we would coordinate for both to get done the same day. Called a week later to see if they ever quoted my neighbor since they never heard anything. They mentioned they forgot and came out within a few days and gave us a quote for both driveways (dropped price $25). We scheduled and they came out and did both driveways on a really hot sunny day. They mentioned they would fill cracks and it doesn't really look like they treated them, just put the coverage seal over them. <br /> Overall I'm happy with the service and would use them again. <br />
