Jim and his team were very friendly and knowledgable. Keep in constant communication through out project.

We discussed various options for landscaping parts of my property to cover part of a lot that I felt was too "sprawling."  Trees were a large part of the discussion--types/size of, as well as location/spacing.  A recommendation was also made to break up the space by planting various flowers in a particular location.  Of course, prices were also discussed and, while I knew landscaping work was expensive, I was still surprised at exactly HOW expensive it is.  Mr. Michaels told me that, even though trees and shrubs are expensive, the labor is what really brings up the price.  Therefore, based on this information, I decided that I could not afford his services.  He was very nice and spent about an hour with me, but I simply can't afford this type of service. <br />

Our back yard is tiered, and we have been attempting to complete the top tier for two years.  Finally, we decided to get some help.  We called Jim to see about putting rock all over the top portion of the yard between flower beds.  Due to a tricky work schedule, I had to do most the arranging via phone.  Jim was so patient and helpful - he even remained calm when I thought his final payment was lost in the mail!  Every time I tried to contact him, he was there...very easily accessible.  The job itself was an awful one - they had to carry seven yards of gravel up a flight of stairs by bucket!  I couldn't be happier with the outcome.  I won't hesitate to hire Jim for future outdoor projects - great guy! <br />

Jim was very thorough. He measured and remeasured the bed for accuracy. He spent extra time cleaning and removing the mildew from gutters and enclosed patio. Jim was punctual and professional. We really liked the completed job and have hired him again for another project. Very hardworking man.

Jim is great -- I would use him again. It was just Jim and a helper, not a bunch of guys, and they worked hard. Everything looks great. The bushes they bought for me are good quality and rooted right away. The mulch is thick and even. They made sure they knew exactly what I wanted and checked in with me throughout the job. <br />

Went well.  However, I wanted the extra perfect touches, did not receive them after I had asked.  For example, he trimmed the shrubs but did not shake out so after a week a lot of dead pieces were still in the shrubs.  I had to shake out/rack shrubs and pick up dead pieces.  Some branches were not trimmed along the bottom and a shrub was trimmed not to my style. I asked if he was going to use a shop vac to clean up small debris and he said his was broke but that would have put a nice clean touch on the job.  The job was huge and was on a hillside.  He did a great job. I did not have the tools to do this job so I had to hire someone.  I am happy that I selected him.

The estimate was performed one day after I called James. He called me to give me a list and a price. We agreed to all the work suggested. He started working after I left for work and was still working as I returned home. The difference was amazing and the debris was piled onto several tarps. The piles were high and I could see my home. We talked about additional work after I saw what was done, thinking that all was complete, with the exception of mowing the lawn. The first day ended. <br /> The next day he returned at noon while I was at work and as I returned, I noticed additional things were completed that I hadn't expected. He did the additional tree trimming that I had asked for the last evening and pulled additional ivy from the house, relaid my walkway stones, straightened my small retaining wall, laid the mulch, and finished mowing and edging my sidewalk. <br /> So when I thought that there was little left to do, James had put some additional significant effort into the job. <br /> Although James and his crew are excellent at common lawn care requests, if one wanted a neglected property brought back to life, James could tackle that job and deliver good results.
