I provided top grade Sherwin Williams paint. The painter used the semigloss intended for the windows, baseboards and trim on the ceiling. Then put flat on the other surfaces. The wall trim had to be redone and another coat to the walls. I had to purchase another $78 of paint for the painter to use. He did not understand English so I was wondering if this was really James Painting or someone contracted out. The check was written to Santiago Echeverria. They got paint on my very expensive Kincaid four poster bed. When I called to let them know, the female was rude and yelled "What do you want?". They were upset they had to come back and fix everything the next day. He only came back. I was kind and even gave him $100 more for coming out a second day. These were not professional painters. I know, my husband was one before he had a double lung transplant. He had to explain that inside of door frames had to be painted, and that flat paint was on everything, not semigloss. No, I would not recommend James Painting to anyone.

"My work was guaranteed and of high quality. I finished the job as described by me. Paint the skies, walls, doors and moldings when you called my phone. We never spoke badly to you. I just told you that we would talk about anything the next day. rude and haughty my assistant was very scared in the way he spoke to me he had no right to speak to me so I never mentioned it to you because I am a professional and I have ethics to manage my business I ask for respect for me and my family my company is called james painting and my name is santiago echeverria I am the owner of the business that's why the chueque should be in my name I don't see the problem and my family never offended you on the contrary you called me to tell me about some paint stains that they had and I told you that the I would clean the next day I never told you that my wife would not do it I never talk to you are your imaginations you talked to me not with her we paint with first two coats to all the moldings and doors and then we gave him the last hand of semiglooss. the walls we paint three layers and regarding the language if I speak and understand it I don't know why you say that about me I don't allow you to speak ill of my family and my work as I respect you and don't mention anything that happened with your husband I ask the same please when you spoke to me my son was on the line he is bilingual and my son was scared because you spoke badly to me I never answered you wrong at any time I am mature and responsible with my work and with my clients my commitment is always and will be to satisfy my clients do not speak ill of anyone we all have different opinions and ways of seeing things but for everything there are arrangements as I have always said I will never stop doing things to satisfy my clients my work ends with quality and with a guarantee for you"

Very good work at a reasonable price. Initially I only wanted help with wallpaper removal but his estimate on painting was hard to refuse. The entire room was complete in less than two days. Santiago is an honest and hard worker. I would definitely reach out to him for my next painting project.
