John was very punctual and professional. Did the work in a timely marner and cleaned up when everything was completed. Highly recommended.

Had discharge pipe replaced and had outside pipe moved to a better location so water flows away from the house better. He showed me where the leak was, explained options and replaced the pipe and fittings with higher quality items. He added a flexible coupling section to reduce stress on the joints as well so it doesn’t crack again. He also does HVAC and recommended a thermostat setting change to save me money over the winter.

Was consulted after a friend (in the HVAC business out of state) advised initial diagnosis from a different company did not make sense. Ended up being a costly repair but thanks to J & R, the correct problem and issue was addressed. Very pleased, especially on short notice during a hot spell for J & R working us in to get the repairs completed.

Replaced regulator, checked that everything was working ok. Made suggestions in case this didn't take care of the issue. Also checked the next day to see if they were any ongoing issues.

It was a hot and humid Saturday and our AC was not cooling our house. Temperature was set on 70 and thermostat was reading 80 and getting warmer. The company we usually use, AFC Heating and Cooling does not make calls on the weekend. I checked Angie's List and thought I'd give J and R Service a try. John answered immediately, listened to my concerns and set up a time to come out that afternoon. He was quick and thorough, found the problem and charged a fair price for a weekend call. I would highly recommend J and R Service for HVAC services and will certainly use them in the future.
