Jane and her team were the favorite part of my remodel project. They were fair, punctual, hard working and most of all extremely competent. The guys actually doing the work cleaned up after every single day (important for me as I have 3 kids and a puppy) and were quick to respond to any concerns I had. Jane's team even helped me 'upcycle' an old desk I had by beautifully painting and restoring it. They didn't have to, but they even insisted on lugging that huge (and heavy) desk upstairs as they knew how excited I was to have it in my son's room. I could not recommend them enough. Thank you Jane and team!!!

I would highly recommend Jane & Co, and will definitely use them for future painting projects. I used Jane for her colorizing services and am so pleased with our choices of paint colors, Row House Tan and Urban Jungle. I elected to use the high end paint finish called cashmere, and it is beautiful. Her team of painters were professional, courteous, and took great care with prep and clean up. Kudos to Jane & Co -- they are awesome!

Overall they did an excellent job and I’m very pleased. The crew showed up on time and worked steadily. There was a great deal of prep work required. They sanded and primed everything. They also had to patch places that my dog had damaged. They were polite and I was comfortable leaving them alone in the House. It seemed a little expensive but it was in line with, or less than other estimates i got. I have not had pro interior painters before so I really didn’t know what to expect. I’d recommend them to anyone and would definitely use then again.

Jane and her crew did an outstanding job painting my office. I work in a 1930s home converted to office space so getting the right color for the style of the space and my mix of antique and new furniture was crucial. Jane’s color recommendation was perfect for what I wanted to achieve. Her one person army showed for prep and paint at the agreed-to time. She worked day and night through the weekend (it was busy season for me) and the attention to detail painting as well as protecting my valued furniture and wood floor was flawless. Hopefully we can get Jane back out to stain and condition the wooden deck at the office soon.

The job was started on the day we had agreed. Jane helped me choose the trim color. The painting crew were very meticulous and conscientious. They did a very thorough job. They cleaned up after themselves, and removed most of the scraped off old paint and removed wood.. The house now looks fresh and beautiful.

Jane and her team were excellent. I needed a small area pained that was part of a larger project. They were able to quickly respond to address the issue and complete the mud, texture and paint allowing me to finish the other remodel project. I would recommend this company and her team.

Very well. Jane did a very good job and was very responsive and able to pivot / revert course when I changed my mind on a few things. I will be using Jane and her team again when it's time to paint the exterior of our home. One other note - her time did a great job repairing some texture issues on the walls and ceilings, including a massive crack on the ceiling of the foyer that is over 20 inches high.

They did a very good job. They painted my house and did an excellent job. They did it quick and timely and did a good job. The work was done good but it took them a couple weeks to get here. It was a little pricey. They were very professional and did a good job. The day they started they were suppose to be here at 9 but was delayed and didn't get here until about noon.

I got two bids for the job. Both were around $8000. I went with Jane because I liked the idea of supporting a local business. I have no complaints about the quality of the work they did, but the final bill was %50 more than the estimate. It turns out she did not put paint on the estimate. This was not made clear to me. The estimate said that all materials where to be provided. How does she expect me to make a rational hiring decision without some idea of the paint cost? There was some confusion because my dad actually signed the contract to hire her, but he also agreed that it is ludicrous that she did not even put a rough estimate for paint. I requested that she also paint the gutters, so I expected some increase, but she did not make it clear to me how much more expensive it was going to be as each item required more work than she had estimated. For example, she doubled the price to paint the inside of the garage because she did not anticipate that it needed to be primed first. However, she saw that it was bare plaster, so she should have anticipated this. She also sent me the final invoice on a Friday afternoon and then harassed me to settle the bill that evening even though I had issues with the invoice and they still had some touch-ups to complete. Texting me as late as 9pm until I told her I would not settle that evening. She's going to respond here with a sob story about needing to settle so she could pay her crew, but that's not my problem. The job wasn't finished and the invoice was in question. She offered to reduce the paint cost if I paid that evening, but I wanted to see the invoice revised to show that before I would pay. If she had done that the final invoice would have been under $700, so I find it unlikely that she would have had trouble paying her crew on Friday. Also, don't use PayPal. She says she didn't get some of the down-payment because I sent them to the wrong email address, but PayPal would not reverse the charge because she already received them.

"[Member Name Removed] and his father [Father's Name Removed] met me at the house and I was instructed that [Father's Name Removed] was paying for his sons house to get ready on the market. [Father's Name Removed] said, "We can use your current proposal and provide half as requested,but modify costs as needed. Or change the contract. I responded, "You can do half and I can add changes in for final balance." I emailed him this prior to me ever receiving a check or even pressure washing house to prep. I sent this in an email as well, " I need signed contract and the final invoice will reflect the paint cost and any add ons (additional repairs, scaffolding, concrete repair etc.) I can't give you an accurate price on paint until we know that." Then I was told that [Father's Name Removed] was leaving town and all payments were to be collected through [Member Name Removed]. The final bill was not 50% more than the estimate. This is false. Original estimate without PAINT was $7,815 prior to the ADDITIONS ADDED, (all gutters added on a large house with an alternate color, priming large garage ceiling and walls, and additional work to cover faded stucco. The final bill was $11.722 As with every job payment was due upon completion. When [Member Name Removed] did not respond about balance due I did not call. I sent a text. I hardly call this harassing when a client is avoiding paying balance. There were issues with Paypal as [Member Name Removed] did not send the payment to the correct account and after reviewing PayPal did release funds when they heard my case. I have been payed in full because job was completed in full. I hardly think this is an unfair price for a large house stucco painting job with 3 colors, deck staining, garage priming and painting and touch ups on interior throughout for labor, materials, paint and stain. I have all correspondence documented and photos of work done. My integrity is intact and confident that communication was clear and the house looks amazing. There is no sob story here... only facts. We have an A rating for a reason not only for work we do but because of impeccable communication and punctuality. Update. Now I see that the check was withdrawn from my account of $5000 so balance is still remains unpaid."
