"Yes this was an bad day for me and the customer. When i showed up the one compartment of the two compartment sink was draining. When i looked under the sink i noticed the P-trap was installed backwards and other waste piping was not right. I disconnected the waste piping and found grease clogged in most of the fittings. Cleaned out all the fittings and reconnected and ran water. Both compartments backed started to back up. Drained water from the fittings and disconnected piping under kitchen sink ran electric sewer machine through pipes. Did the same process about 3 times with no success. Every time i had to drain the piping under the kitchen sink there was a lot more water than it should have been because the p-trap was installed backwards. I could not put the trap the correct way because the waste coming out of the wall was too high and they have a very deep. So the last time i started to fill up the sink and i saw it was starting to back up the 1 1/2" plastic slip nut cracked in half at the lowest part of the drain line while water was still running. Shut the water off as fast as i could but with the water in the lines a lot of water went all over the place. Spent about an hour cleaning everything up. Replaced the defective nut on the p-trap ran water again, water backed. It was clogged solid with water was not draining at all. The reason it was clogged solid was with all the grease clogged in the fitting water was just tricking through the plastic tubing into the waste line so they was not a lot of water going into the waste line which was probably 90% clogged. After i cleaned all the plastic tubing now they was a lot of water going into the waste line and the waste line could not handle it so it back up. At that point i was not going to do anything else. Since the line totally clogged i could not disconnect any piping in the basement with out making another flood. I told the lady she needs a company that specializes in drain cleaning to come. So i packed up my tools left my business card and told her if there any damage please contact me. Spent 2.5 hours there and could not charge for anything. Regarding the other plumber when you come in after someone has done a lot of the work already and the homeowner is telling you what has already been done and has not worked it is very easy to what should have been done and what should not have been done. This a very humbling job one minute you are a king because you fixed or troubleshooted something that solved a problem. The next minute you can't seem to correct the problem or get anything to work right. He should know better than to say stuff like that."
"Don't understand what she means about the on/off arm. All i did was change a cartridge. Had to come back a second time to adjust the temperature because the water was not hot enough for her to take her bath. That was fine because when i left the first time the hot water was 110 degrees and i told her if it was not hot enough i would come back because i did not want to leave water to hot for anyone to get burned. She never mentioned she was unhappy with anything."

"Before i even agreed to do to the job i called her and told her it would more than one hour of work to install a new faucet and connect the drain for the kitchen sink and dishwasher. She agreed. Being in this business for over 20 years i had all the proper material to do the job even though she said she had the strainer for the sink i bought a more low profile one she had a 10" undermount sink with a granite countertop and a 15" high waste line. If i used her strainer i would not have been able to fit a connection for the dishwasher drain on the waste line. So when i showed up to the apartment and saw someone cut plastic boot off the the dishwasher drain hose i asked her who did that she said she disconnected it. It says on the plastic boot "DO NOT CUT" Because she cut it i spent an extra hour trying to connect it properly without it leaking. I could not do it because she cut so much of the plastic boot off the hose it would not fit over the pipe properly. On top of that there was a hole in the dishwasher drain hose."
