Very professional and nice gentlemen. They helped us out in an urgent manner and we sure appreciated it! From the time I called until they left, everyone we spoke with was very nice!

I hired Jay Young Plumbing to connect my new fridge to an existing water line. When the service technicians arrived they said it was such an easy job and were embarrassed to charge the flat service fee of $95. It took them less than 10 minutes to connect the water line to the fridge. I paid cash and kept my receipt that reflected "checked for leaks". The next day the bedroom behind my kitchen wall was FLOODED with water from the leaking water line connection. I immediately called Jay Young Plumbing. The same service technician arrived and apologized for the leak and the damage it had caused. I cleaned up the mess while the technician worked on correcting their mistake. I had a flight to catch so the technician stopped the leak and instructed me to call upon my return to "fix" the problem. After returning, I contacted Jay Young Plumbing and they sent out a different technician who ended up running the line from my water heater via the attic to the fridge (something I was unaware that was possible). Upon his completion he handed me second invoice for $375. I informed the technician of the situation so he directly called Jay Young (owner) on speaker phone. Jay Young was extremely rude to the technician (his employee) and hung up on him. The technician asked me to sign the invoice agreeing to pay the additional $375 ( I did not). Instead I called the office directly and asked to speak to Jay Young. I attempted to give him the details of my situation, in a rude and aggressive tone Jay Young said he didn't care and hung up on me. I called the office a second time and spoke with Jay Young's wife. She informed me that her husband was "having a bad day" and apologized for his behavior. I later received a past due invoice in the mail. I attempted to reach out again with no solution as it was my fault that my "house was old". A year later I became aware of the fact that Jay Young placed a mechanics lien on my home for $375. The title company said they had never seen a lien for such a small amount. Long story short....DO NOT contract Jay Young. Not only did they not complete such an easy job correctly, they are downright rude and unprofessional.

This company was very professional and courteous. They installed a new name-brand unit. They charged us what they quoted us for the job (We appreciated that there were no hidden fees.) We hired them because of the great reviews on Angie's List. We are very pleased with the work that they did.

Raymond did an excellent job. He arrived quickly. He was very knowledgeable and polite. I will certainly call them again.

The work and customer service is the best I have experienced in 17 years of home ownership. Then today, New Years Eve, my second sewer line backed up and they couldn’t get to it and they referred me to another plumber who came and saved us from backed up lines over the holidays. They are really remarkable.

I am posting this on behalf of my Tia Anita. She's an older lady who needed a gas line replaced this holiday season. Jay was nice enough to come out and give us a free estimate at then gave us a great price and did the work very quickly. Jay was absolutely a blessing to our family and I cannot recommend his work enough. Please call Jay if you need anything.

First, Jay Young Plumbing had a *person* answer the phone and not a synth system. Next, she asked, in a very pleasant way, what all I needed. She then said that she had someone in the area and they could likely be there in an hour or so--after completing a different plumbing task. When the plumber, and his son, showed up at the house, they called first, arrived soon after, were courteous and kind, charged a reasonable price, and were on their way. Within less than I week I received a very kind "Thank you" note and fridge magnet. I was especially impressed with their kind approach that honored my needs and privacy and with their genuine appreciation of my business. You BET I will contact Jay Young Plumbing FIRST next time! ---By the way, 3-4 hours after this was all done and completed, the first plumbing company I contacted finally got back with me. They will not be the first people on my contact list the next time! I am not related to Jay Young Plumbing nor do I get any benefit from my statement. I am just pleased that this company exists!

What fantastic service! Could not have been any better. I called a 2 pm with a leaking water heater. At 5 pm I had a new one in. When I called, the woman answering my call was great. Had me go and describe. It was leaking badly. She made an appointment for next morning. But called an hour later and said, "I've been worried that the pan will fill and overflow. I am asking the guys to stop by." They did and got a new one and installed. So professional. The company even sent a follow up Thank You card. These will be my go-to guys.

Superbly! We called Young and a technician came out the next day. The problem was fixed within and hour at a very reasonable price. (Note: He probably could have talked us into a new unit, but he recommended a temporary fix and suggested we begin saving for this old unit's predictable demise.) Quick, effective and cost-efficient. What more could you ask for?

The part was more expensive than the labor due to the age of my AC unit. I was relieved that it wasn't anything more serious, although this was painful enough to our budget. However, it was far better than no AC in Texas in the summer!

He found the problem, showed us exactly what it was, explained what it would take to fix it, and got the repair done quickly. We are on a budget, so we appreciate the honesty and the reasonable cost for the repair. The Angie's List coupon was an added bonus!
