<p>Called John up for a price he came out looked at the sight to build and weld up a car port, we talk about the best way to put it up, he shot me a price signed the contract with a hand shake it was done.</p> <p>John and crew picked up material for me the next afternoon framed it out that afternoon and finished out the next day.  John and crew  was there on time, good workers and good folk.</p> <br />

J B is a personable fellow.  He is friendly and visits comfortably while, at the same time, makes certain that the job is done right. <br />

<p>It was a great idea! Worked like a charm. Makes the fence look really nice on that side, and he replaced one broken fence board for me as well. He was prompt (came out same day to give me a quote), professional, friendly, responsive, and checked with me afterward to ask if I was happy with the way the fence looked.</p> <p>My dog is totally bewildered by the lip that now hangs over our side of the fence because she has to jump sort of out to try and get her head over it, and jumping out and up (instead of just up) makes her lose altitude. Plus there are no more sharp edges for her to cut herself on. It was ingenious, and saved me the hassle and eyesore of having only one side of my yard with a higher fence than the rest. I will use him for any other future fence needs for sure, and highly recommend him if you want to work with a reliable contractor. </p> <br />

JB did something no other vendor did--asked me if i wanted a phone <br /> estimate to be followed up by a visit if requested. That worked well <br /> because it let me know they were in the ballpark. When requested, they <br /> promptly showed up, described some opportunities and provided excellent <br /> solutions. The work was completed in two days including some changes (at <br /> no additional cost) that were requested after some initial work. JB's goal is to satisfy customers and they did so. <br />

I contacted John with an odd request. I needed a french cleat made to hang a piece of metal art. I had contacted several other welders and either they did not respond or were not interesed in helping me. John said that he was not familiar with what I wanted but was more than willing to come and take a look. After he saw the piece and I described what I wanted, John said he had no problem doing it for me. John's guys came and picked up the piece and flattened it a bit to aid in hanging it. They returned, as promised, with the flattened piece. John personally oversaw the creation of the french cleat and subsequent installation of the art on the wall. He even made sure that the 250lb piece of art was securely attached to the wall. John is a rare find. He is true to his word and a consumate professional. I will definitely be calling John for all my future projects.

I first contacted J B Jones in February for an estimate to install a steel stairs going up to my apartment. My original contractor had built a temporary wood stairs so I had enough time to shop for an estimate. I got four estimates as I knew it was going to be expensive to have this stairs installed and I was very causious as to who I would hire. As it turned out now I really had nothing to worry about hiring J B as he gave an exceptional price and the workmanship is the best. It took a day for the work to be completed. Overall this has been a fantastic experience for me in hiring J B and his crew. Do yourself a huge favor and hire J B for your next project..........Many, many thanks J B. JB returned my call very promptly. I was in desperate need to have my job done quick because we had two dogs with no access to their back yard (which drove us crazy!!!!). JB worked us into his schedule and came out NEXT DAY- first thing in the morning and finished the job in a matter of hours!!! I had literally contacted 7 other contractors and got 6 other estimates. JB beat out the competition hands down on price, response, duration of the job, and overall professionalism. I am so thankful that I found JB!! I referred him over to my pastor the next week and was told he did a fantastic job them him as well

He was very prompt and returned my phone call within a few hours. I had gotten other bids. The price was the most competitive. The work was done quickly and well. I needed it done quickly because we were moving. I have also referred them to four different people.

From start to finish, the entire experience was great. JB came out to look at the job, and gave me a bid on the spot. I was very impressed with this, as other contractors took much longer to get me an initial bid, and I then had to go through their offices to refine the bid. JB came out in person to finalize the bid, which stayed the same even though we added some additional work. One concern I had was the time it would take to replace the fence, since I have a dog. This fence is located in a difficult location along a creek bed surrounded by brush. JB assured me that the fence could be replaced in one day, and he was true to his word. When I got home from work on the day they started the job, they weren't quite finished, so they even stayed late to ensure that I would have a completely fenced in yard for my dog. They came back the next day to complete the repair work. All the work looked great and it was a pleasure to work with JB. By the way, JB also came in with the lowest bid. I would definitely hire him again, and have already recommended him to some of my friends.

It was a great experience! He installed 289 feet of 4-1/2' tall pipe fencing with no-climb wire. He painted the pipe black and made a custom 12-foot wrought-iron gate for the driveway. He even cut out a golden retriever (our breed) out of scrap iron and welded it to the gate! He was quick, reliable, and did a great job! His price couldn't be beat! Actually, he bid the fence at a few feet more than it actually turned out to be. He measured the fence and only charged me for the actual footage, which was less than his original bid. (Who else does that??) He started right away and finished quickly -- working the third day until 10:30 pm to meet his promise. He was a really nice man and had a hard-working crew. He was willing to do whatever we wanted. The only tiny complaint is that he could have cleaned up better when he was through -- but it was 10:30 at night, so I'll cut him some slack on that. He's actually a welder by trade, so anyone needing general welding work should contact this guy without question! He was wonderful!
