It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. It was a small job. They were timely and did just want we wanted. They didn't make a mess or they cleaned it up. It wasn't a super hard job but they had to climb around in the attic and make a hole in the wall and bring the wires down.

Was done very quickly. Looked at my doorbell and made a recommendation.

Installed an outdoor outlet. Asked me where I wanted it installed, tested and works properly. Personable workers. I asked for a quote for additional services and used them again to install two outdoor ceiling fans. I would use them again for additional electrical needs. <br />

<p>Difficulty completing the job in a timely manner due to scheduling and weather-related issues. Not always the fault of the provider.</p> <p>However, response time was not always prompt.</p> <p>Brian, the individual who actually did the work, was quite pleasant and easy to work with, and seemed eager  to please. I wish more time had been spent on nailing loose boards as several remain and I would have been quite willing to pay for any extra work. I'm not sure if Rocky  Cloninger, the owner, ever came and looked at the project himself to determine the correct cost.</p>

Had trouble getting scheduled, then at the last minute it was re-scheduled, but the work was done well. <br />

The only disturbing thing was the lack of communication and scheduling. On March 29th I purchased the "Angie's List Deal" and submitted 3 suggested dates to schedule service. I never got a response so I called to see if there was a problem. I was able to talk with Reese and we scheduled a date and a block of arrival times. Reese called me a few days later to see if I could reschedule because he was busy with other Angie's List Deals. My neighbor also purchased the "Deal" but never heard from JBL Electrical Service. So I took the opportunity to ask when he was planning to visit my neighbor. He told me that she was scheduled right after mine but that her appointment was still on track. Unfortunately Reese never advised my neighbor of the appointment. My neighbor was surprised that I knew when they were coming by and she didn't. Well to make this long story a little shorter JBL was able to make my appointment and my neighbor's appointment. They couldn't finish the work at my neighbor's so they provided an estimate for the additional work and scheduled a time to complete the project. She never got an appointment confirmation call and when the appointment time came they were a no-show and no-call to let her know that they weren't coming. In summary, the work performed was satisfactory but they completely lack customer contact and communication skills. For this reason I would never use them.

Rece was wonderfully attentive to what we needed to have completed. He understood the electrical system immediately, where 2 other contractors were at a loss as to how to fix our issues. He is very professional, articulate, conscientious and personable. We are definitely planning on using him in the future.

It wasn't what I thought it was going to be, but it worked out. Scheduling and communication with the company was fine. I did feel the price was little high for what I got.

This was an Angie's List special and a very good deal at that.  I had the whole house surge protector installed.  He was very pleasant, knew exactly what he was doing, right on time.  A very good experience, and I will definitely call this company back! <br />

The installer was on time, he wast friendly and appeared to do a good job.  My only complaint was that after the installation there was an additional trip charge of $10.00.  Like most homeowners,  I don't like up charges.  I found no previous mention of a trip charge and I assume that the provider advertised a special on this list to increase his customer base.  Why a $10.00 charge was worth threatening that good will I do not understand.   <br />
