Horrible service. Kyle never returned phone calls , It took 11 months for them to start work on my project after I paid 50% deposit.I’m still not satisfied with the work.I reached out to Kyle for him to finish and replace my garage door sweep and no response. Beware!

Very very unprofessional company!!!! I sub contracted work from J BOWERS, and was not payed for services performed....I have now multiple unpaid invoices that are months overdue...For a company built on honesty, it sure doesn't show....I have sent multiple emails to office personnel and never received a response back!!! Unhappy employees=discouraged workers

Brian was awesome. I don't know how I could say enough good things about him! He came out and found a tiny hole in my roof about the size of a penny. We have no idea what caused the hole, but something small must have been traveling pretty fast to cause the hole.. He was very kind and helpful even though his company no longer travels to our area. He put a patch on the roof without even charging me!

J. Bowers sent someone to the house immediately. In pouring rain, he found an isolated roof problem, took pictures, did some immediate remediation, and explained everything. The estimator was also knowledgeable. I authorized them to do both the the interior and exterior repairs. Everyone I worked with was professional, knowledgeable, answered all my questions in detail, and wanted the job to be done right. If you have weather-related damage, J. Bowers is the company to call.

Went well, service was done well, they were honest about pricing, availability and knowing what they were doing. A couple other roofing companies were not sure how to work with the corrugated roofing that is on our barn. <br />

Everything went perfectly. The job only took two days and they were finished! The crew that came was completely professional and they cleaned up everything, no scraps left inside or out. I will definitely use them again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone. Excellent service!

They board up my house after a fire tore out insulation and flooring I wanted to save my deck so they tried cutting a section but cut main beams ruining it I was also going to save part of my stockade fence and they took it upon there self to do it after being told I had someone to do it and charge me 10 thousand for that they were unfamiliar with zoning rules and cost me 3mo time in the process of rebuilding

The weather was horrible, early March. They worked in the cold and the job progressed as scheduled. Totally new porch from footers for the supports to decking, stairs and rails. In addition, they installed vinyl siding, which still looks nice.

The technicians were great. However the sales person (who has since left the company) was slow to respond and hard to reach. <br /> I do not blame J Bowers for that though. <br /> However, I feel that someone should have been paying more attention to him, and my job, I was going to have them do all of the re-install, which turned out to be the complete kitchen. But do to the sales person not communicating, I chose another company. <br />

"To clarify all work performed was only done after an agreed upon scope of work and price was agreed to with your insurance. Since your insurance company was responsible for covering this claim, per standard industry practice, your insurance organization would have been responsible for providing an estimate of the final approved and agreed upon price. Based upon file documentation there was no associated change orders for the job outside of the approved and agreed upon scope of work by the insurance organization. Unfortunately our company was unable to perform any work until insurance provided the necessary approvals to proceed. We apologize for your experience and assure you we would appreciate the opportunity to earn your future business and prove that we are truly the best in the disaster restoration industry."

This company was recommended to us by our insurance adjuster. We have a flat roof and it was damaged by an ice storm. I never received an estimate, itemized bill or anything. Everytime I asked for something the pat answer is "Don't worry, Donnie will take care of it." The company could do the repair so they hired a subcontractor to do the job. No written guarantee, nothing. Well 6 years later my roof is leaking again. When I called to ask for the subcontractor's name they didn't remember who did it. <br /> <br /> Attorneys were involved and it is just a huge mess. I now have to hire another company and pay for it again because as my insurance adjuster put it "we don't cover sloppy jobs." <br /> <br /> The plaster is coming off the ceiling in 2 bedrooms. One of which they plastered 6 years ago. <br /> <br /> The workers were very nice. <br />

"J. Bowers Construction offers a 5 year warranty compared to the standard 1 year offered by most companies. This job was from 2005 and we didn't have problems until the homeowner frauduantly signed our name on the insurance check and took the insurance proceeds. I have all court documents verifying this and also the correspondance from FirstMerit Bank. Our settlement released both parties from anything relating to this matter. We have in fact warrantied our work long past the standard 5 year warranty period in some instances for customers who didn't attempt to illegally cash our checks. We have been in business since 1959 and complete roughly 1000 jobs each year and maintain an A+ rating with the better business bureau."

We were very satisfied with them. The overall job was excellent. They were very professional. They were very timely. Whenever they were sending someone or making anarrangement with us, they would always call. They always came on time. All the workers were pleasant. They were courteous. We had no complaints at all. It was a hassle-free experience. We had a floor put down and they connected us with the wood workers for a restoration work. His work was excellent. During the emergency, the police called them and they were here to board of the house within 20 minutes to half an hour. They hired subcontracted for other works.

They got the job completed on time and they cleaned up as they worked. They kept to the estimate their gave me and stayed within the budget that was allowed. They came out on time and when they promised. They did the work extremely well and within the time they said. They improved my gutter system and even upgraded my roof from the insurance company had initially stated. However, the sales person on the job was a little different than the company. The sales person had a ladder that I expressed interest in and the sales person said he would give me a discount on the ladder after the work was done. After the job was completed the gutters and screens ended up being in better shape than originally. Because I did not do all of the work that was estimated he said he would no longer give me the discount on the ladder. I even tried to compromise and said that he could give me 90% of the discount he was going to give initially since i only had about 93% of the work. The sales person was unwilling to give me the deal so I dropped it. He appeared to be a little bit pushy and did not keep to his word, which was disappointing. However, my word still stands true about the company's excellent service.

THEY WERE GREAT TO WORK WITH. THEY CAME RIGHT OUT AND GOT THE JOB DONE IN TWO DAYS, WHERE ANOTHER COMPANY HAD MADE ME WAIT FOR 6 WEEKS ALLOWING WATER TO LEAK IN AND CAUSE FURTHER DAMAGE.
