J&b painting

It went extremely well.  I have a 2-story home and the owner Jose Marquez did a beautiful job.  He had someone working for him who proved to be a layabout and fired him, which impressed me.  It's easy in this economy to feel sorry for someone and continue to pay him, but the man was an embarrassment and kept tiring out while Jose was up and down the ladder working after having knee surgery.  This is a man with a great work ethic and high professionalism and I would recommend him to anyone.

Jose spent the first day doing all the prep work - first washed down the entire house, then taped paper around windows and the sliding glass doors, on the porch and patio around the house. When he finally painted the house, he put on a nice thick coat of paint, patched holes, did some minor repairs to some spots as he went along, and just did an overall fantastic job. When one of his workers didn't do a proper job, Jose spent time and repainted the portions not done to his standards. I wouldn't hire his guy (he's been let go) but I would hire Jose again in a heartbeat. The quality of his work was such that people approached him in my neighborhood and asked him for his card.
