Bridges Handyman Service

We hired John bridges to do 3 jobs. Expand our hall closet to fit a washer and dryer, a main support beam in the basement, and a bathroom down stairs. He was the more expensive estimate but after talking with him he explained that he doesn't use cheap materials from Home Depot and builds his own cabinets. We decided he'd be worth the money. He did good on the basement beam. But once he's started on the hall room closet we realized we didn't want him doing a bathroom for us. He used cheap wire shelves from Home Depot and cut corners while mudding and painting. We had all ready paid him over 13,000+ dollars while his estimate for everything completed was 19,000. We figured we would get some money back due to us not wanting to progress with the bathroom but we did not. I have tried contacting him for months now about fixing some issues with our closet doors but only get ignored. Based on my experience I would not hire this handyman again.

They did a top-notch job at a reasonable price. They didn't have an up-charge for supplies. They were able to do everything I needed except the electrical, which they arranged for me with an electrician. Their work was a professional finish to include: cabinets, countertops, flooring, drywall and painting. It was done in a timely manner and on budget.
