Justin and his team did a great job attending to our roof. I would say job well done, but we've yet to have any real rain to test the work. However, he was the only one to really look for the issue instead of giving us a general quote. I would hire him again no problem.

It went great.  I had called 3 of the major and best rated (according to Angie's list) roofing companies in the Redding area.  All 3 of them said they were just too busy and could not come by and even look at it for me.  JB roofing also has excellent ratings on Angie's list and I now understand exactly why.  Justin Rocks!  He was the ONLY one of the four companies I called that actually showed concern for my problem.  He was insistent on getting by my home before the coming rains that were in the weather forecast.  He had a GENUINE concern for the well being of my home.  The other 3 companies I called sounded like they could care less.  So Justin came by right away and checked it for me.  He went up and checked the roof, took pictures of the problem area and thoroughly explained what the problem was.  He caulked the cracks in the lead flashing around our chimney so we could make it through this winter.  He said he cannot guarantee it because it is just a temporary fix.  Totally understandable.  You can't really guarantee that caulking will hold 100%.  But he did guarantee me that if I had any problems with it that he would come by and check it out and fix it (re-caulk) for free!  So I couldn't really ask for anything more.  And he did all this for only $50.  He also inspected the rest of the spots on my roof and put some fresh caulk around a spot that was deteriorating.  I really can't say enough good things about Justin.  He is a real true blue down to earth guy and he really cares about his customers.  I will never call anyone else for my roofing needs. <br />

JB Roofing did an outstanding job on the old roof tear-off and new roof installation on our home.  From the time we first met Justin and he did an inspection of our existing roof, we felt confident of his knowledge and professionalism.  His crew was always on time and was careful to clean-up following the day's work.  The roof was completed during some of the worst heat of the summer and it was amazing to see how much effort the crew put into making sure the job was done right despite having to work in the July temps; they did not take short-cuts.  <br /> The thing that most impressed us was Justin's honesty regarding work that was listed in the original estimate but in the end was not needed.  He had initially included the cost of blowing in additional insulation to meet code requirements.  Once the roof was off and he was better able to inspect the attic, he realized that the additional insulation was not needed.  This saved us almost $1000  on the final cost which was then applied to the cost of additional damage repairs that were not noticeable until the roof was opened up. <br /> We highly recommend Justin and his firm to anyone looking for an excellent roofer. <br />

The contract roofer that I hired Wednesday prior to hiring Justin of JB Roofing not only was a no show for two days but also stated the price of inspection and repair was going to be about $600 or more for the job. When Friday afternoon came and went and no response to my phone calls, I then called JB Roofing Friday evening and Justin answered the phone. I explained my dilemma that the contractor had placed me in since I had to have this inspection done prior to Monday morning and asked that if he could to do the inspection and repairs required to pass. He agreed to come on his day off and as a pleasant surprise, he said he would not charge more than his usual rate even though I offered to pay more because he was doing me a favor. On Saturday evening, I received via e-mail, the inspection letter and the invoice. The price on the invoice was less than half of what the other roofing contractor was going to charge me. Wow! What integrity and a perfect example the highest level of character. When I was raised, a mans' word and a handshake was all that was needed to do a deal even when the equivalent dollar amount was over $100,000. It is a shame that this seems to be a rare trait today. Justin, your service is greatly appreciated and you are truly an honorable man. Thank you! <br />

Justin is efficient, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.  He took care of two issues that I knew of and noticed another problem of which I wasn't aware, and took care of that also.  He is very reasonable and I was glad to hire a local businessman.  I will call him again when I need work done. <br />

<p>We had a leak in our roof we had attempted to patch several times. During a rainstorm, the drip became a leak. We called JB and they responded very quickly to our call and came out the next day to take a look. They called the following day to say they sent out a guy and he was on the way. He showed up as expected, fixed our leak and another one we didn't notice before. Polite, excellent service and quality work. A great experience!</p> <br />

JB Roofing's estimate was the first of more than eight estimates I had received (including some of the top ranked on Angie's List in this area) of which were fair courteous, professional and prompt.  I have had several contractors do remodeling project for me on my 1,500 sq. foot residence which was built more than sixty years ago.  Until now I had almost given up hope that someone could have a fair price along with quality work in the Redding CA.  JB Roofing's owner/operator Justin Boring and his crew were both professional, attentive, honoring and courteous.   <br /> My roof was no easy fix!  It had an old outdated ventilation system, an uneven ridge, one layer of tin followed by three layers of shingles.  It included multiple points of rot and needed an almost total carport remodel.  Justin was not only knowledgeable in his area of expertise but he was also honest and above all willing to address any questions or concerns I brought up at any point during the project.  He regularly called me during the project to see if I had any questions or if anything needed to be addressed.   This type of humility is almost unheard of in this profession.  The work performed by his crew was done in a timely manor, and it surpassed my expectations of quality and cleanliness.  To the point my neighbors (who had just replaced their roof) were wishing they had used JB Roofing.  The price was fair and the work impeccable.  The surrounding area was cleaned after every day of work.  It was never a concern whether or not I or my children would step on a loose nail or tac.  For as much time and energy as I've put into getting bids and reviewing other contractors and roofers in Redding, I could not imagine choosing a better more qualified professional.  Thank you Justin and JB Roofing for restoring my confidence and trust!  And thank you for such a good looking roof.  I couldn't be happier! <br /> <br />

This is a one man shop.  He put a roof for us last year and it developed a leak this winter. So we called him out and he went up on the roof and discovered that it was not a problem with the roof, it was actually a problem with the crack in the chimney.  So he repaired the chimney crack and went on his way.  He did not charge us anything.  He gave us a couple of follow up phone calls a week or so after that to make sure that the leak has not reappeared.  I recommend him highly and I will use him again.
