Brian is an excellent communicator and returns calls immediately. His employees are professional and nice. The work was done in a timely manner, and Brian gave us a quote for future work that was very fair. We will use again in the future.
It was a decent experience. They wanted to talk to me again and I got busy. They didn't provide me with plans, but I was supposed to get back with them with additional work but I never followed up. They were responsive.

The gentleman arrived on time and did the work as promised, but unfortunately the caulk that he applied around the bathtub had lifted off within a week of his visit.

It was a Big Deal purchase. I think he had creative solutions to our problems and was willing to look at how he could fix things economically.

JCS was okay, they have an employee there with a name of Aaron Champley. Bryan Chambers was with JCS and he did couple of works in our house couple of years ago, he said he would give us his best employee and his name was Aaron Champley, Aaron worked with Bryan and vice versa and they too were great. Bryan did couple of things here alone, he was fine, very good but when Aaron worked alone, he gave us a little of price under cutting. Bryan Chambers, that's the worst guy I've ever had, Aaron Champley was the worst of them all. We did something stupid, he said, I'm not gonna be doing this until I get paid, so we paid him and then one day he left, we haven't seen him since then and then I finally got a hold of them and said " I want you out of this house". It just caused me a lot of trouble and a lot of problems I didn't need and a lot more because the thing is, when he left here, it took us a little while but we went a little higher Hammer and Nails and Hammer and Nails said "who did this" and I said "this guy", that guy either didn't care or that guy was handicapped because he did not know what he was doing. Aaron Champley worked in our house and everything went to hell with them and we called Mr. plumber and Mr. plumber came in and said "this guy ripped you off big time". I submitted a pump underneath the house so he put a pump underneath he house and it was not even the right pump. He gave us a PVC pipe taken out of the house, it wasn't even the right PVC pipe, everything was illegally done basically because after that, it caused us 5000 and then we had some sewage problem. Aaron Champley, I consider him not even in the park, he was awful, worst one I ever had, he come over here and he sleeps over here, he looked at my DVD collections and "hey! I'm gonna borrow this DVD", he returned them. He said he had car problems all the time. We loaned another car, that way he can get home. There was no thank you, there was no sealing up anything. That guy was horrible. When Bryan uses Aaron, that's horrible, when Bryan doesn't use Aaron, he's great. I give Bryan a B, and if he uses Aaron, he pulls him down to an F. That guy is horrible, absolutely, 100%.

The service was not stellar. It seemed like he found someone random to do the work and there was not a working relationship between the guy and the company. The communication was not good and the guy brought his wife and child to finish up the work on the last day of service.

I would like to begin this review by indicating that this project went exactly as planned and the finished product exceeded my expectation. With that said, I want to thank Brian Chambers and his entire team for an excellent experience with a project of this scale. This Bathroom installation required everything from the ground up, I had an existing toilet and a dilapidated shower at one end of my unfinished basement. The list of construction items completed:
-Frame & Drywall and Trim
-Tile Floor and grout installation
-New standing shower installation
-Vanity installation
-Plumbing, washer box installation
-Drop/Utility Sink installation
-Electrical
-Paint
Brian was able to accommodate and even anticipate every aspect of this construction/renovation. Brian's team included a specialist for each specialized task required and he did not have to outsource a single item of this project. In addition, small details, recommendations, and potential issue items were identified and addressed with my permission; this was welcomed foresight and attention to detail that goes 'above and beyond' the paper estimate.
During the initial visit for estimate, I was able to lay out my vision for the project and my expectation for the finished product. After the free-estimate visit, Brian provided an accurate estimate of project cost within 5-days. Between the estimate date and project start date, I decided to include an additional perpendicular wall, where the washer and a utility sink would sit, and that would tie-in to the new bathroom exterior wall and plumbing. Without hesitation, Brian agreed and updated my estimate to include the additional work. The final payment did not exceed the estimate.
During the course of the project, Brian and his team were at my home at a reasonable time each morning and worked full days to complete the project. Team members who completed specific tasks were here when required and not here when they were not required. All team members were very professional and very respectful of my home and property. Upon completion of the project, clean-up was completed in all work areas. Project duration was 3 weeks, Mon-Fri.
Lastly, I will conclude by saying again how impressed I was with the finished product and that it exceeded my expectations. I would recommend J.C.S Complete Home Renovations to anyone who has the need for a standard remodel up to a full construction project such as mine. These guys did a great job and if I have a need for future projects, Brian will be my first call. I will be enjoying this new addition to my home for years to come.
It went fine. They were able to help us out. They were easy to work with and responsible on the project we have to do. They finished all jobs that they need to that day.

That didn't work out too well. The first guy they sent out to my bedroom, he did OK on that but the bathroom was a disaster. They had to send another guy out. I had to call and complain, and the next guy they sent out did a better job. I'm an amateur but I would have told that he didn't smooth it down right and he even took the tools that he was suppose to use and tried to charged me for bringing their own tools. They sent another man who did an excellent and flawless work. The first guy was not that competent. I didn't spending anything extra.

The lining cabinet door needs painted and hung; 3 drawers need painted, repaired, and lined. At the base of the linen cabinet there is a piece of trim they have replaced incorrectly so there is a reveal so that you can see into the hallway.

One wall was not supposed to be dry walled; now it not flush and the trim is hidden so that needs repaired or the drywall removed back to the original wall.

The door needs sanded, stained, and adjusted as it is hung incorrectly. Also the bottom of the door is damaged; and needs repaired if possible. From the new floor to the old floor there is a ¾ inch height difference; and my mother lives with us and walks with a cane so if it is possible to put a lip of some sort on this so she will not trip.

Four times they dinged or chipped my porcelain tub; they need to repair it but I do not want it removed again.

Two new windows have been installed but they need to be sanded and painted.

They re-tiled the floor and the tub; when they were pulling up the old floor and found that one of the beams was cracked; when this happened it pulled out the Knob and tub wiring from the ceiling. So they offered to take the hallway ceiling out to locate the problem. My husband did it himself and found that the wiring had all been cut; completely severed. We now have 5 or 6 blue boxes of electrical work around the place. That need looked into. (We need an electrician for this.)

There is an air-duct sitting next to the vanity that they put in; I told them do not cover up the air-duct. He installed it directly over the heating air-duct. So they covered a portion of the air-duct with the vanity; so the plumbing they installed for the vanity is in the wrong place and my register is cut in half that doesn't open or close since the vanity. So I need someone to look at the plumbing and see if it is done correctly and if it is possible to move the vanity so that is not covering the ducts. (So I will need a plumber to look at this)

All of my drywall have divets and imperfections in it; so I would like someone to look at this and see if this was done correctly.

There was a leak in tub; they finally fixed it but in order to do so they tore out a hallway wall to locate the leak because they said they had run the pipes incorrectly. So they have patched the hallway wall and it needs painted.

My wife and I decided last-minute to choose a holiday weekend to reinstall our bamboo floors. Brian reached out on Friday asking if we would still like some help with it, and we are both pleasantly surprised that he was able to get someone over to our home the very next morning. They went above and beyond even with it being a holiday weekend and I was able to have assistance in laying the floors Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The Carpenter's name was Brian as well, and he was absolutely outstanding in all areas of professionalism and a true master of his trade.
The services I have asked for were not executed. Despite my previous e-mail to the handyman showing (with pictures) the projects I wanted to do in my house and asking in advance what kind of materials would be necessary to execute those projects, I had no answer about the material necessary. They came to my house in 4 people, with no materials, and of course they didn't do anything I could not have done by myself. So, we agreed he would come back another day to execute just one project from my list. At the second visit, despite I have the material, they did not have the expertise to execute the work. In short, I have payed too much for the service they did.
