Very well, both times we had damage to the garage and needed them to come back several years after they had replaced the door to make adjustments. They came out right away for a proposal, ordered the parts and came back in a timely manner made the adjustments the door works perfect. Great value for the work preformed very knowledgeable service personnel who worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I was very surprised how little the cost was to repair the door after we had repaired the garage.

Excellent. The tech came out the same day, made the necessary repairs and was very professional.

We purchased 3 custom garage doors from this company. The wood doors are made at their facility, it took them approximately 6 weeks to construct and stain the doors. The cost of the doors was $12, 536.00. The doors were installed in May of 2015. The stain/paint on the doors were chipping /peeling off because the door pieces were stacked before they were completely dry. There were also portions of the doors where the wood was warped. They called me the next day and told me they were remaking the doors because they were not happy with <br />  them. I thought WOW, a company that still have great customer service. I thought they would just repaint them. I did not ask for new doors. Well.......I was wrong. We did not receive the replacement doors until December 21st, SEVEN months later. I was promised many times that they were next in line to be built. Their excuse was that they needed to make doors for houses that needed to close on their mortgages. That was fine for a while but it kept happening! My husband called the owner , "Doc" to discuss the problem. He seemed unfazed by the problem telling us we had garage doors on our home and they needed to finish others up before they could finish ours. My husband explained to him the doors they installed looked like they were twenty years old. Doc was surprised since he never came to our home to look at the defective doors.  Another thing I had asked the company to do on the new doors was to fill in the nail holes. Their reply was that they don't do that. I told them I would pay for the holes to be filled. They said they would get back to me but never did. The new doors arrived yesterday. Once they were installed I came out to look at them. They did look better but there are areas were the paint/stain looks like it is dripping and areas were the paint/stain had dried leaving cracks AND the nail holes were not filled. I contacted three different painters and a builder to get their opinion, all of them thought the doors should have been sanded, and nail holes filled before the doors were stained.   <br /> SO, I get to spend more money having the doors sanded, holes filled and re stained/painted this spring. <br />  I forgot to mention that on one of the doors the nails were only put in a quarter of the way the first time they were installed because they were coming back with a different color of stripping. They never did come back so they nails were sticking out until the new doors were installed 7 months later. So, needless to say I cannot say I would use this company again. We have had $500,000.+ of renovations done on our home so I have worked with MANY different trades people. I am not unreasonable and do understand that things happen. The different contractors tell me they love working at our home. I have never worked with anyone like J and D Door sales, their customer service was beyond awful!l <br /> <br /> 3/08/2016 <br /> I was very surprised to see the response from  J&D Door sales about my review. Not once did someone come out to look at the doors during the 7 month I was waiting for them to be replaced. When we did call for updates we received no apologies but were treated as if we caused the problem. As I mentioned in my review WE did not ask for new doors, we thought the doors would be repainted. It was J&D that told us they would replace the doors. As far as the person who lost their job over this, I am aware that J&D is no longer making the wooden garage doors so would no longer need the gentleman who makes these doors, hopefully this is the person you are speaking of. I also thought I would have received a personal phone call to discuss my review and how it could be resolved. Once again, poor customer service!

This is the second time I have used J&D Door.  The whole experience (from the nice lady who answered the phone to the result of an operating garage door opener) what great.  The company is very professional, knowledgeable, quick and efficient.  The guy who came out to do the work for me has obviously done this many times before as he was very quick at taking the garage door opener apart and putting it back together again.  I have no reservations with this company and will call them the next time I have garage door issues! <br />

I like them. They are professional, prompt and knowledgeable. They did the work accurately and quickly. This company has a friendly office and staff. I can't think of anything they could do to improve their service. So far I have liked my garage door.

They were awesome. We thought the price was really reasonable for what we needed to have done, and they did a great job. The guy was great, and we would definitely use them again. I remember them, because I had them put a big sticker on my door, so that I remembered.

The representative from the company came to my house a few hours after I gave them a phone call.  He gave me an  explanation of the problem with the broken door and told a possible way to fix the door or if I chose to replace the door with a new one.   I decided to get a new door.  He explained the models of doors available and their prices.  Within two working days, the installers came and put in the new door.   It only took two hours and they cleaned the work area before they left.  The workers were very efficient and professional.

The overall experience was a good one.  J&D returned my inquiry for a price quickly and then set up an appointment for the next day.  The service guy was prompt and got right to work on the garage door.  He wasted no time and serviced the door very quickly.  He had patience to answer my questions and was professional and knowledgeable. <br />

Called the company and they said that they come out to give estimates but if you do not go with them they charge $85.00 for a service call.  I made an appointment and  they came out within a few days but they wanted to come between 3-5pm I told them this was not convenient and they came at a earlier time. Rick came out and gave me a estimate and a day, if they did not have the panel in stock. He said it would take two weeks at least to get a panel and install it. He said if they do have a panel in stock it would be 2-4 days and would call the next day. Rick called and said that they had a door panel in stock and came within 3 days and installed the door panel. I thought the price was a little high for the amount of work that was done. Charging for an estimate if you don't go with a company is one reason I would not be using this company for any future services.

Returned phone call promptly and set up appt.   They came at the time specified and did the work promptly. 

Great company. They answered our questions and communicated well. They executed the job as promised and even came back to tweak an item I had a question about.
