Except for the fact that it took longer than anticipated, I could not be happier with the results and the impeccable servive. Jeff has a dedicated crew that does great work. I did find a few things that I asked to be changed or improved and there was never a problem and no extra charge. In addition, Jeff researched at length to get us the best way to install a fireplace and chimney. This guy is a GEM!

I can't say enough good things about this company.  I was not able to make the kitchen larger, but I wanted more cabinet space and counter,  Jeff had great ideas about how to accomplish this. He is very knowledgeable.  He designed  a new layout that included moving the sink from the corner to under the window.  This gave more useful counter space between the stove and sink.  He gave me great advice about quality cabinets,sink and granite counter top. The linoleum floor was replaced with porcelain tile.  Ugly florescent lighting was replaced with recessed lights and a fan.  The crew did a great job installing everything.  They are meticulous workers. I am very happy with the kitchen.  It's beautiful!  I highly recommend this company.

The job was done within a week.  The work was done very professionally, the roofers were all friendly.  Every time I called Jeff to ask him a question, he was available to answer the question, either by phone, text or email. <br />

her than his own scaffolding, he unexpectedly had to remove a double layer of old shingles instead of a single layer, hence the two-day job stretched to three days. That's why we were surprised by the final bill, which reflected these additional costs. He suddenly went from being competitive to being the highest bid, but in fairness, none of us expected the double layer of shingles. Once we understood, we paid what he asked, since it was probably a fair price for the amount of work required. In retrospect, he should have inspected more closely and determined that he needed a list and two layers of shingles had to be removed, and the written bid should have been firm and not subject to an unexpected extra $1,100. <br /> We were pleased that the men cleaned up completely, and when a driveway light was accidentally broken, he replaced it without saying a word. Dealing with Jeff was pleasant, quite refreshing from the usual run of more-excuses contractors who are late or don't show up as scheduled or fail to complete a job completely. <br />

The work is 95% completed as of this review.  He has been a pleasure to work with.  His estimate was reasonable, he started the work on time - and his team has worked diligently, held up only by a few days of rain.  The work is scheduled to be completed two days from now.  It is certain to be completed on time.  We are so impressed with the quality and professionalism of Jeff and his team that we have received an estimate and scheduled some more work we want done on the house. <br /> Most contractors are b******* artists, who waste more time, energy and money then I care to deal with.  This is not Jeff.  Found him on Angie's List, and no regrets.  I'll update the review after the completion of the second batch of work - but doubt it will be any different. <br /> <br /> Update:  All work completed on time, and top quality!  We have a few future projects lined up, and will be calling Jeff back.

Jeff came to my house to inspect the area where I needed to have my pool deck built. About a week later he telephoned me with an estimate, and then 1-2 weeks later he gave my husband and I a written contract describing everything that was to be done in detail. After giving Jeff a minimal deposit he took care of all of the permits that we needed from the Township and, once everything was in order, began the job the following Monday. <br /> Jeff and his crew arrived daily at the same appropriate time, the crew worked all day long (quite often Jeff did not stay on this site but he did come by constantly to help and check on the work his crew was doing) and the job was completed (as per the price and details on our contract), with all Township inspections in place, in six work days.  <br /> Everyone on the site was courteous, respectful, and professional. <br /> My husband and I are very pleased with the finished product.

My story is: do not do a deck in the winter.

PROJECT SCOPE: As described above, we added a floor to our PA home, creating a 600sf master suite. Under the contract, Jeff was responsible for all facets of the project - blueprints, permiting, demolition/removal (of the existing attic), framing, siding (natural wood), window/door/skylight installation, roofing, electrical, plumbing, heating, sheetrock, tile, wood trim (extensive), ex/interior painting, masonry (chimney extension), and cleanup. The only things separately contracted for were the central air and carpeting. EVALUATION PROCESS: I evaluated four contractors for the project. I discussed the project on-site with each in detail, visited examples of their work, spoke with customer references, checked web sources (e.g., Better Business Bureau), attempted to draw out ideas on how the project could be improved, and finally sought a proposal for the project. While price was certainly a consideration, the quality of the work and my impression of the contractor's professionalism and responsiveness were key deciding factors. Given the extent of such a project and my personal attention to detail, it was important that I feel comfortable that the contractor would respond positively to the inevitable changes, questions, and "issues" that would arise. Finally, this is a second home and I needed to be satisfied that work would progress well in my absence, without daily oversight. Of the four contractors I evaluated, Jeff was the clear overall winner. Although his quote was slightly higher than the others, it was apparent to me that he was a professional and would make every effort to have a successful project. THE WORK Jeff uses his own professionals and an excellent network of sub-contractors. I was able to personally visit on-site with reasonable frequency, but my pre-project concerns about work progress in my absences were unfounded based on Jeff's daily on-site inspections/supervision. I became very comfortable dialoguing from NJ with Jeff via phone, email and fax regarding status updates, changes, etc. Having been raised by a do-it-yourselfer, I am fairly knowledgable with most aspects of the building process. I am very pleased with the standards of quality that each of the men who worked on the project brought to the job-site. High standards of care and craftsmanship were demonstrated in all facets, including areas where shortcomings would not necessarily be evident. As I mentioned earlier, one of the factors I considered was whether the contractor would contribute ideas on how to improve the project. I think Jeff succeeded in this regard, providing good insights as well as serving as a sounding board for my own ideas. I can think of at least two instances where Jeff persuaded me against making a change - ideas I am now very pleased he talked me out of. Throughout the project, Jeff communicated progress as well as decisions that I would have to make in the near future (e.g. color of roof shingles, how tile would be laid out, etc.). Along the way, some change orders were added to the contract (e.g., I wanted some stonework added to the concrete chimney). Change orders often are cause to ruin the customer/contractor relationship as contractors often over-charge for such incremental out-of-scope work. Jeff provided fair and reasonable quotes for all changes in advance, before the work was done. WRAP-UP The project was completed within a reasonable timeframe - a little longer than I had hoped, but I have to take responsibility as I did introduce a number of changes along the way. Good progress was made on-site every day. The property (inside and outside) was left in very good shape - all debris was removed. The punch-list items (all minor) required different individuals come back to address (e.g, the painter to touch-up), These were quickly and satisfactorily addressed. When it came to the final contract summarization/payment (including plus/minus change orders and the like), the items were discussed in good detail and agreement was very reasonably arrived at. FINAL COMMENT After Jeff was fully paid, I became aware of an item that had not been done to the specifications that Jeff and I had discussed several months earlier. Even though there was nothing in writing evidencing the discrepancy, Jeff immediately agreed that what had been done was not in line with what we discussed and he had the situation addressed expeditiously. I bring this last matter up only to emphasize that Jeff clearly stands by his work and his word.

Jeff and his crew built an addition for our home in Sunrise Lakes. He was well priced and was here most everyday to inspect his crew's work. He always asked for our input and made every effort to address our concerns. The professional people that work for Jeff are courteous and always on time to begin the day. They work hard to keep your daily living style as undisturbed as possible while they are performing major construction projects in your home. We used Jeff 2 more times; once for wood floor installations and also a bathroom remodeling. Both of these projects went very smoothly. The wood floor installation did take a little more time than desired but only because his carpenter was very careful in installing to perfection.
