Adequate job on fence. Problem: repeatedly …maybe six times requested receipt for service performed asap for insurance (Helene hurricane damage), but never received receipt by email, text, or regular mail. Just one more hassle to add to the many after Helene.

"My truck was in the shop getting repairs, I was in my car and my receipt book was in my truck I told you I would text a you a picture of the receipt and I did, and not sure on your end that you didn't receive the picture of the receipt, and gave me a bad review over the receipt. you didn't say anything about the small fence repairs I did, just the receipt! I try to do the best I can do I have other customers that have given me good reviews!"

"I was working on doing the work me and you was wanting done on your home after a flood. We did all the repairs repaired the flooring and plumbing we could get to, without taking out walls and your jacuzzi tub, we couldn't get to the plumbing pipes, and so it was going to be more expensive, and you didn't want to pay more money! for me to do more work. Iam sorry you was upset over that in this expensive world we all live in. and gave me a bad review in anger! I have lots of other great reviews, that was happy with my work."

Very professional . Jeff did a super job. He repaired our damaged well house pump door and insulated the well house in a very timely manor after we contacted him. Very reasonable cost. Would definitely hire again.

Jeff and his partner Jerry were excellent. They showed up, did the work very well, cleaned up after themselves, and were pleasant and professional. I have a couple more projects that I will be asking them to do. All in all, they were a pleasure to work with.

On the attic, he was supposed to put 2 coats of paint, and closed the holes on the walls. he did supposed to put a sheet hook but the piece is hanging down and it looks awful. He did not finished the job for the attic. I already paid him over 9700. I tried contact him but he is threatening my daughter because I did owe him 700 but I don't want to give it until the job was done. He was telling me that he will come to the house and hurt my daughter.

"Thank you for the feedback. I see you left a one-star rating, and I’m sorry you feel like we didn’t paint the attic to your expectations. We did put two coats of paint on the walls in the attic, and as we discussed the drywall finishing you spoke about was not part of the original quote or the verbal changes. When you contacted us, we discussed how much the additional drywall work would cost, and the $700 owed for the materials we had picked up on your behalf. We did not threaten your daughter, we just ask for payment. Our goal is to always have a satisfied customer. We went above and beyond trying to meet the changing needs of the project and worked with the limited payment options. And we utilized our company cash flow to buy the materials needed for the many projects. I would ask that you would kindly reconsider your rating as there was many projects completed to your daughter’s satisfaction such as: 1. Building of the steps to the outside building 2. Taking off the basement door and rebuilding the wall and waterproofing it 3. Foundation repairs 4. Putting up 6 x 6 post to help support the home 5. Reseating two sump pumps (we stopped by on several times to ensure they were working during the rain to prevent the basement from flooding). 6. Cleaned and painted the basement floor 7. Pulled up the upstairs carpet 8. And other projects as requested God Bless you and your family."

He was on time and explained everything that he was going to do. Throughout the job he kept us updated. He did a great job. The underpinning was more secure by the time he finished the job than it was before. I would recommend him highly. He was very nice.

Jeff was excellent and I am glad to have found him. He arrived as promised, provided an estimate and got to work the same day! I hired him for a second project which he completed and plan to use him again. He communicated with me about the projects, arrival time, and picked up materials. Prior to Angi and finding Jeff, I had two workers disappear and leave a project half done! I highly recommend Jeff Southerland.

I've hired Jeff many, many times over the last 20 years or so. He's done everything from "grunt" work to painting to construction to hauling and more. Jeff has always charged a reasonable price for whatever work he has done for me. I will definitely use him again in the future.
