Excellent work

It was great. The workers were great. They were professional.

It went fantastic! I got 3 estimates initially from 3 different companies and Jeff's estimate came in relative to the others. The reason I hired Jeff and his crew is because they are carpenters as well. He explained the process he uses to replace/repair rotted wood areas which made me confident in hiring him. He did the best quality work and made sure me AND my wife were satisfied before I even paid him anything. I would highly recommend this company to others.

Jeff and his crew did an amazing job. They painted the exterior of my 1840's house. They were very respectful of the old structure, replaced rotten window sills and eaves, and clad front posts in wood. The work was completed on time, and when they left, I barely knew they had been there.

He said he would match the texture when he repaired the wall, but it doesn't match. It's good enough to live with, but not up to my expectations. Then he painted white over some blue trim for us and it looks terrible. He didn't cover all the blue. He clearly didn't use painters tape because the edges look like he's not into coloring in the lines. <br /> He responded to my unsatisfied voicemail first thing in the morning and agreed to come touch it up, but I'm concerned that he'll be lazy and rushed with the touch ups the way he was with the original job. He whined that it was hard work and he had to prime first, but judging by the blue parts sticking out, it doesn't look like he primed first. In some parts the white paint is so thin that you can still see the blue through it. <br /> It's just awful and I'm considering just fixing it myself. I hired someone with nearly 30 years of experience because I thought he would do a better job than I could, but I was wrong. I can do this neatly with a little hard work and determination.

I was very pleased with the work. I would rate them an A.

He is a kind of handyman. He said that he specializes in painting but he did one side of the fence that we needed and he also did some other work. He is very customer oriented. I am the only one at home during the day time and he is really non-threatening and that is an additional point for him.

They did excellent work. They were very responsive. They did a wonderful job and I was very pleased. I felt the price was fair. The job was done in a timely manner.

Jeff quickly responded to our request for a bid for painting our home's exterior. He did a wonderful job. He was always here, on time, when he told us he would be, and completed the activities that he scheduled for that day. He was very careful to tape and cover all the areas to keep the paint from ending up in places other than where it was supposed to be. He was right on his bid and there were no surprises. Jeff and his son completed the work themselves and they are a fine team. Extremely polite, friendly and professional. We would not hesitate in recommending him to others.

My experience with him was fabulous. He was rated A's all over and he is top notch. He comes with his son. He is oh, so professional. He drives forty miles to get here and he is still on time. They do a professional job. He gave me the best quote for the work that was done. They are very careful. They come in and wrap everything. He does have you go get the paint.

Jeff called 5 days before he had quoted for the job to begin and powerwashed all the dirt and mildew off. Told me he would use kilns where mildew had been previously seen. Some siding we thought would have to be replaced, did not need to after he got a better look at it. Whole house was caulked before painting. They also took down all garden art on porch and hose reels and replaced after painting. He did discover termites on a back shed, which unfortunately has lead to that problem. He did complete the work in 5 days. The front porch hanging lamp was broken by him and he had me buy a new one and take it off the bill. He also rehung the new lamp. I was very pleased with the whole work he did and would recommend him and use him again.

I provided the paint but he did everything else and even helped me with the color. I am so happy with the color of my house. He gave me a discount because I'm a senior citizen. He also went above and beyond the call of duty. He painted my dryer vent that comes out of my house and my flag pole. I thought something was peeling on the work once and he didn't waist any time coming out to take care of it. He's just a good guy. I would use him again the future. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Jeff was very prompt and got the job done in the amount of time he had said it would take. However, the quality of work was not good. He painted over light switches, got paint on areas that were not to be painted and left tape and paper in corners etc.

I got estimates from several painters but chose Mr. Van de Walle because he uses a sprayer rather than rollers and brushes to give a very professional finish. My house had not been painted for many years, boards were rotting in some areas, and the paint had chipped off completely in other areas. Mr. Van de Walle assured me the house would look like new when he finished his job, and he was right! He is very thorough and meticulous. For instance, he removed the wrought iron storm door and burglar bars from the windows to kill the rust, clean them, and spray paint both sides. Mr. Van de Walle and his son worked on my house for eight full days, and then they returned several weeks later to touch up areas on the roof that were marred when I had a new roof installed after the house was painted. He started the job when he said he would and finished it in the amount of time he estimated it would take to complete. He also disposed of all rotting boards that were replaced.

I would highly rate this company for their services because they do an excellent job. There were two workers that did the job and they were very professional with their work. We were given an estimate of the cost for the job that was reasonable.

Jeff came highly recommended from our daughter. He was professional, very serious about his work, and reasonably priced. He arrived promptly, first thing in the morning, and started immediately. The job took two and a half days, and our place looks new on the inside now. He did not get any paint on the floors, and the trim work is some of the best work I have ever seen. It is obvious he takes pride in doing a good job.
