Jennifer's Draperies

She did work for me 2 times before and everything went fine. This time I paid her $325.00 on 6/5/15 for half of the service that she was supposed to perform. I have not heard back from her since. I have called her numerous times and have not gotten any response.

The contract stated 4-6 weeks for completion. After 4 weeks went by I tried calling her. I wasn't expecting the work to be completed, I only wanted to touch base to see how things were going.  I wound up leaving 5 voice messages during the month of May. The last call was finally returned. She apologized a lot and gave me some story about breaking her phone. I finally received my goods 10 weeks after the contract was signed.  For some of the work she used fabric I had purchased and when she brought over my goods, she forgot my leftover fabric.  It took her another 3 months to return it to me. <br />

I showed her examples of what I desired and I was so satisfied as she did exactly what I asked for. Even though Jennifer became sick during the process and was hospitalized, she down played her illness and was able to complete the job. My dining room window is a bay and she did a terrific job. It was all exactly what I wanted! The only minor complaint I have is it was hard to get her to reply to me after I met with her and gave her the order.

At times Jennifer was not as responsive as I would have liked (in returning calls) but the cornices are very well done and the installation was very professional. She has a lot of fabric samples and was very good in recommending the different shapes for the cornices. I am very happy with her work and  would use her again. <br />

They are beautiful, and Jen is a delight to work with. She phoned to let us know when there would be a delay in delivery. <br />

it went well.  Jennifer's Draperies is a family owned business that has been around for a while and that  provides phenomenal services along with great pricing.  I would definitely use them again and again. <br />

I really wanted to like Jennifer, she is a sweet person with a lot of energy, but unfortunately her work was not satisfacoty at all.. I will say that the table cloth she made was perfect; however, there was a problem with evey other project she did for me. <br />  She lined my living room curtains  which she was redoing for me, and made another mistake by finishing them incorrectly,  She was able to correct that, but the lining, which I did not ask for (and she acknowleged that) has caused the drapes to hang incorrectly and not look professional at all. I spent a lot of money and they look worse than they did before she started.   <br /> My guest room curtains which she redid for me turned out nicely, but I was surprised by her lack of judgement in hanging them.  To correct her mistake she adjusted the hanging hooks, they now look strange and are hanging too close to the rod.   <br /> The faux roman shades she made turned out nicely as well; however she failed to  finish the top where they are attached to the board and thus you see the hanging board from the side, they look unfinished and once again unprofessional. <br />  The cafe curtains which were to hang below the faux romans were a disaster.  A poor judgement call on her part in suggesting a material, while pretty, that was way too stiff to accomplish the look I wanted.  Again when she came to install them her measeurements were off and she tried to accomodate that by moving the rods.  That would not have aligned with the top of the window frame and cut across the windows at an odd level.  She asked for more money before leaving inferring that she would be back. She was not, and because I paid the bulk of the money and never received the curtains which I purchased material and labor from her,  I paid too much. She was going to fix the issue with the board showing on the romans, took my extra material and never came back. <br /> I'm sorry Jennifer, as I said, I really wanted to like your work, I liked you, but clearly the work performed was not at all worth the money I paid you. <br /> I can not in all honesty recommend at all. <br />

Jennifer did a great job with making exactly what I asked for. We had already purchased fabric, so I was a little surprise at the price, but appreciate the quality and personal service.

<p>Jennifer came to  my home initially with pictures of her work along with a van full of fabric swatches. She had a lot of input in what she thought would work for my home. I wanted ideas and she gave me a lot. She had so many good ideas that I never even thought of. She and her father came to install the valences and they are a great team. Very professional! The treatments were above my expectations! Jennifer's work is fantastic. Neat, organized and professional. The chair looks incredible. You would never detect the damaged area I can't say enough about her work. <br />

Jennifer is very well organized and diligent about communicating.  She has a huge assortment of high quality fabrics from which to choose and is very knowledgable about every product.  She has grown up in this business and has helped her mother so her experience is without question.  Her father helps her with picking up and delivering larger pieces of furniture.  She is extremely friendly and easy to work with.  Her work portfolio is very extensive and showcases her work beautifully.  I highly recommend Jennifer for any upholstering project.  If I decide to get new window treatments, I will go straight to her. <br />

Jennifer was amazing. She get in touch with me right away. She worked with me to create the exact look that I wanted. Her father who works with her expertly hung the drapes and the project has dramatically enhanced my dining room. Even my mother loved the drapes! I would highly recommend her services! <br />

She was very professional and a pleasure to work with.  Many fabric choices with a big range of prices.

She did an amazing job with everything. I supplied the material for the window seat, but she found some beautiful fabrics for the pillows .  Everything was neat and well finsihed. <br /> I have no doubt that I will use Jennifers services again.  And I would reccommend her to anyone! <br />

Basically, it could not have gone any better.  Jennifer does all the work herself, so you aren't dealing with a crew working for a large business.  She was as personable as she was professional, and the experience was like dealing with a neighbor, rather than a businesswoman.  The finished product was excellent, and we were completely pleased.  We value the ability of people we hire to relate personally as well as professionally, and Jennifer is first-rate at both.  Her expertise and experience are obvious.  We would hire her again in a heartbeat.  We doubt if you could go wrong having Jennifer do your draperies. <br />
