I feel like they over charged for their services. There were only 53,000 miles on the truck and they said the transmission was probably about to go out on it. A few days later, the transmission went out and I thought that was a bit odd.

"This is the first I knew that this customer had a problem with our service. I went back and looked at the history and found that she had a bad transmission leak, to the point the truck had to be towed in. If you run a transmission low enough to have to have it towed, you have already done damage to the clutches internally by overheating it. We had to pull the trans to reseal the front pump seal, o-ring, and gasket. We did a lot of other work to this truck also, including ball joints, battery, alternator, freeze plugs, and inspections. She was charged a very fair price for all the work that was completed as I have reviewed all the pricing. If she was told the trans could have been damaged and might go out, this was because the fluid may have been badly burnt or black due to being overheated. I'm sorry this customer was disguntled about our service and would have tried to do anything I could to have helped her out, but why did we not hear about it for over a year?"

I recently bought a car and went to Jerry Lambert. I was hearing a wheel bearing noise and thought it was premature for a bearing to go out. He got it out and determined which bearing it was. I was going to have him replace them both, just in case. He told me it was more than likely a defected one, and said that if it had been needed, he would have recommended replacing both, but that it wasn't necessary at this time. I just thought that was a breath of fresh air to get that advice. <br /> <br /> I use Jerry to work on domestic vehicles. He's a full-service auto shop. I've used him limited times in the past and have always been treated fairly. I believe that their prices represent a good value, and they do a good job. <br />

Took my car in to have a noise in my front end looked at (they had tried to find the noise months before but we couldn't quite figure it out) I was pleased that they did not charge me again for a diagnostic since they could not find the problem the first time. When the gentlemen called to tell me it was finished - he told me they were able to tighten down the suspension instead of having to replace the links and was able to save me some money. I was very happy about that. My only concern is that the next morning when I was at the store I notice a deep scratch about 6 inches long on the passenger door that wasn't there before, however, since I am not sure if it happened at the store or at their facility I can't point fingers. Other than that, I believe they did a great job. I love that my car doesn't make creaking and popping noises anymore - and they were able to fix an issue I had with the stabilizer when I turn. I would definitley recommend this company.
