I called two 24/7 plumbers from Angie's List, one of whom I have used twice in the past year. I called more than once on a Saturday, when the leak started and on the Sunday that followed. I did not receive a return call until Monday. By that time, I had made contact with Jerry's. They were at my house in less than 1-1/2 hour...nearly 3 hours before they were scheduled to arrive. The plumber was punctual, courteous and professional. The work was completed in a timely manner, and I was quite satisfied. There were no issues. I would hire again.

They could have easily left as soon as they figured out it was a septic back wash issue. However, their Plumber (who had been working all night because we had record amounts of rain over the weekend) stayed there to ensure I had pumps to clean out the basement and provided me with all the information I needed to fix my issue. OUTSTANDING plumbing service!!!!!

My kitchen sink was draining into my laundry room. The women who answered was very nice and helped calm my freak out about my room flooding. They came on time, very professional, and fixed my problem. Will be calling again if I have a problem with anything else in the future.

Our service technician was David. He arrived earlier than expected and went straight to work. Our new pump was installed in less than one hour. We were pleased with the work. He came after hours 6:30pm and did not charge an exorbitant fee. He was pleasant and very informative when asked questions. If there was a topic he was not familiar with he answer "I'm not sure". I like reliable companies with professional employees. We had another plumber come earlier and wanted to charge us $452 dollars for a 1/2 HP pump that cost on average $242, $200 for accessories for installation (I paid $276 taxes included for pump and accessories), labor charge to go and pick up the pump and to install the pump. His price $1252. I was told that it was considered an emergency so that is why the price was so high. This was the morning two days after the flood. After we got the pump we called several times and no response as of yet, He's off my list completely. I share this illustration so that buyers can make educated decisions about how best to spend their money. I don't assume that the plumber whose charges were 50% higher than anyone else I called on Angies List. I simply say do your homework and know what is considered a fair price. Thank you Jerry's Heating and Plumbing. You do excellent work in a timely fashion!

Our sump pump stopped working unexpectedly on Saturday, February 10 so I called Jerry's knowing they have 24 hour emergency service and our first experience with Jerry's was very positive. Due to the fact that it was raining all day and would be into the weekend, there was no time to contact my home warranty company. When I called (late Saturday afternoon), Jerry answered the phone and had his on-call technician get in touch with me immediately. Steve, the on-call technician, arrived within the hour. He assessed the situation and confirmed that our sump pump had to be replaced. Steve was polite, thorough and professional. He cleaned the interior of our sump pump and installed a new product that was clearly much higher quality than the previous one. So, all in all a second very positive experience which prevented our basement from flooding. Thank you Jerry's. We'll be back.

My sump pump went out. I had a membership with a home warranty company. They assigned Jerry's Plumbing. The response time was exceptional, and it was actually Jerry who responded. I found him extremely personable and friendly. You gotta like a person who has a big smile on his face. Jerry examined the sump pump. I believe it was the motor that went out. It was probably around 15 years old at the time. So, he pulled the old pump. So, he went to his truck and brought in a new pump. He explained to me that my home warranty would pay for a low-grade pump. I understood. I understood my home warranty contract. He then told him he was going to install a higher grade pump. So, I'm wondering how much that would cost me above my $100 deductible. I'll never forget his response. I can't remember it verbatim, but he essentially said, "don't worry about it. This is the sump pump you need for this house." Trust me... I was Wowed! Jerry didn't need to do that for me! But, he did. And, I'll never forget that. He immediately established know, like and trust with me. My wife and I have used Jerrys Plumbing ever since. They replaced my garbage disposal, broken internal water pipes in our home, a frost free outside hose bib, and most recently installed a water powered back up sump pump. That water powered back up sump pump really provides my family piece of mind. I've had way too much water in my finished basement because my electricity went out and my electric sump pump obviously didn't work! I don't need to shop around for a less expensive plumber that I don't know. I feel safe and secure with Jerry's Plumbing. He's my plumber for life! If I have any advice to offer it's this. Keep up the great work.

Thought my well tank and switch had gone bad. Called Jerry’s they were out to look at my problem same day. They believed it was the tank and switch as well. Having an old house where the additions were built over the actual well. Anyway they came back the next morning and worked tirelessly to get water back to my home. Unfortunately the well ended up being the problem but they recommended a well drilling company. Awesome job guys!!

Called this company to fix a bathtub leak. I was informed of the $105 service fee when I made the appointment. It was my understanding that (like most businesses do) the service fee would be applied to the work performed. The tech was at my house for 45 mins, cleared a hairball from the drain, put a bead of silicone around a gasket, and charged a total of $261 (after a military discount) for the work (Service fee + the work - discount). When I called to complain, I was told that he informed me that the service fee would only be applied to the work if the job total was over $300. I asked what their hourly charge was. They don't have one. It's a flat rate based on the work performed. I understand the need for businesses to charge a service fee to come to your house. If you don't get the work done, they should still be paid for their time. I've never heard of the fee not being applied to the work performed. Here's the tech's write up of the work performed..... "Service fee 105.00 Bedroom tub leaked when someone took a bath. Opened access panel to back of tub and tested water for leaks. Found no leaks. Filled up tub and tried to drain and it would not drain and backed up to overflow and leaked a little from gasket. Removed pop up drain and found that drain was filled with hair causing the back up. Pulled a 3 x 3 in ball of hair out of drain. Tested and tub was working properly. Tighten screw to overflow gasket and siliconed around gasket. 185.00 Tested more and no leaks found working properly. Total 290.00" To sum it up, happy with the work, but fell like I was gouged on the price for the service performed.

This entire effort was painful. I have a 8 year old home and I never imagined that I would have issues this soon with underground pipping. Even though it was a tough and expensive process Jerry's Plumbing did a great job with coming up with the least expensive plan to ensure they satisfied the county codes and give me the best price possible.

<p><br /></p> <p> </p> <p>I called Jerry's Plumbing due to their Angie List rating. Scheduling an appointment went very smooth despite two rescheduling due to extreme snow and weather conditions. They were very professional and courteous. They quoted me a price of $109 for a service call that would be applied to the cost of any actual work that needed to be done. The service technician was professional, on time, and knowledgeable about what the problem was. The solution how was very simple. It required extending the sump drain pipe a few feet to avoid it freezing in the snow and stopping the pump from working. The technician started working on the extending the pipe. Since he never provided a quote, I assumed that the work would be included in the service fee plus the cost of about 10ft of PCV. A few minutes later, after completing the work he hands me a bill for $400! What??? Say what??? After some discussion about why (if the cost was not included in the service call) he did not give me an estimate BEFORE doing the work? He said, he forgot. After some further discussion, he agreed to discount the bill to $300 and give me a fee service call the next. Hum!! The next time?</p> <p><br /></p> <p> </p> <p>Lesson learned: Beware of this service provider and what they charge. You will probably end up paying $100s to $1000s too much in over charges. Make sure you get a written estimate BEFOREHAND and shop around.</p> <p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />

I asked him to do something to my hose on the outside and he said he didn't have the tool to do it. The only negative was that he didn't ask me to make an appointment for them to come back and then they would do it. I was able to do it myself whatever it was. It was something very simple. I wouldn't call them again. I didn't write him name down for someone to call. The work was fine.

Jerry's Plumbing & Heating (Jerry's) was the assigned plumbing contractor in a home warranty plan that I've had for years. I've used Jerry's in the past for small repairs but nothing of this magnitude or complexity. <br /> Over the weekend of December 13-14, I suspected that my well pump had failed (no water) and made the necessary phone contacts. Jerry's representatives were at the house Monday, December 15, in the mid-afternoon. After they confirmed that the pump had indeed failed, they explained what they needed to do and we subsequently agreed to contract terms. Jerry's people then returned to their shop to get the necessary repair parts. Once they had the parts, the on-site job supervisor, Doug LNU, said we'd have water before they left that evening. Jerry's people got started late Monday afternoon and worked until nearly 12:00 midnight the same day. As Doug had earlier represented, "we had water before they left." <br /> When I was younger, I worked in a construction trade. In the intervening years, my wife and I have owned a no. of homes. Without reservation, I can say that I've seen few companies or their people work as hard or diligently the way these guys did either making repairs e.g., replacing a roof or installing an HVAC system. Based on the experience that I had with Jerry's, I would recommend them w/o reservation. <br />
