Great work performed by a true professional. He took time to measure and line everything up so that it was visually appealing while remaining completely functional. Care and professionalism of this nature is a very rare thing these days so when you come across it as a homeowner...you never forget it. I have other projects in mind that I believe Jerry would be perfect for. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that my family and I will do business with Jerry again and will be happy to recommend him to anyone that asks if we know of a really good handyman. <br />

Chris is amazing, super-fast and a master at his trade. I haven't yet found a project that he couldn't handle easily. Easily the best handyman I've ever hired. <br />

I was advised by the provider what to buy prior to the appointment, however it was not compatible.  So, I was told what I needed instead and had to schedule another appointment.  I was then charged for the return visit.  I did no think this was fair, since they told me what to buy and it was because of them, a return visit was necessary.  It turned out ok, but I ended up spending more money than I planned. <br />

<p>This is the third time Jerry has done repairs for my house.  He is always professional, prepared, and personable. When I called, since it wasn't a crisis, he came as soon as he had an opening.   He came and assessed my old hot water heater, determined it needed to be replaced (it was 15 years old).He explained the problems and options to me. He installed a new one, changing some of the old plumbing to meet current requirements, and as always, cleaned up. </p> <br />

Contacted the company through Angie's List and promptly received a telephone call. I had a laundry list of 14 minor home repairs, and the person I spoke with listened to the first six or so and set up an appointment for 10:30 - 11:30 the following Monday. The work was subbed out to another contractor, who arrived around 9:45 a.m. (That was fine with me.) Here's my list and the work performed: <br /> New caulk for bathtub in second bathroom - caulking done around the edge of tub, but not where tub meets floor <br /> New caulk for master bedroom shower and toilet - caulking done around the edge of shower, but not where shower enclosure meets floor <br /> Replace door knob into gargage - completed <br /> Replace door knob into laundry room - completed <br /> Fix weather stripping at bottom of front door - completed <br /> Fix master bedroom closet door - not completed because contractor didn't have planer <br /> Fix light fixture in the hallway - Said completed, but not completed (Light fixture was cleaned but not fixed) <br /> Fix leak in master shower - completed <br /> Fix smoke detector in hallway - completed <br /> Affix dishwasher housing to cabinetry - completed <br /> Fix second bedroom closet door - Said completed, but not completed (he smacked it so it got back on its track, but there's still a problem because the door won't roll smoothly) <br /> Fix freezer door handle - Not completed, but he gave me the number of an appliance repair person he recommended <br /> Rewire vintage lamp - Not completed; he said it wasn't necessary <br /> Fix sliding glass door lock - Said completed, but not completed (I ultimately had the lock replaced by another provider) <br /> The person who performed the work was friendly, competent, and quick. I wish that all of the items on my list had been completed, but am happy with the work that was done. <br />

<p>They did a good job and were prompt. Whats not to like. The interaction was good. </p>

At least Mr. Woodward was honest that he could not fix the garage door opener.  You will pay for his time to get whatever he needs to repair your broken part(s), but he will do a good job on what he is contracted to do.  Think ahead to giving good description of what you wish him to do: I wanted him to repair the assembly on both bedroom closet doors--the one broken, the other, surely worn--but did not reiterate that when he arrived; therefore, he only repaired the one broken, and advised us to keep the package from the part, so that when the other broke, we would be able to buy what was needed. <br /> <br />
