His team provided a wide variety of services which included documenting ‘current state’ measurements, several iterations of design concepts, materials lists, and a very cool (web based) 3D modeling tool that allowed us to visualize our project ensuring we don’t spend ‘blindly’ on our renovations. Jonathan and Jose were very professional, timely, and thorough in their work. Jonathan laid out each step in the planning process very clearly and helped answer any questions we had along the way. The plans were completed to our specifications and done for a fair price.

If you are like me, you watch all those shows like Property Brothers, Love it or List it, and Rehab Addict, and you think…. “Wow, I wish I could do that to my house…” And then you think to yourself, “Who can I call to help me with that.” The answer is JE & Sons. My husband did a Google search and we took a chance. What a great decision. Jonathan came to our home, listened to our dreams, was patient with our questions, and attentive to details. I must have sent over dozens of pictures with numerous comments saved from Houzz, and somehow our space became an actual plan. I mean just like on TV! My house! Seriously, everything I wanted in virtual reality. I know it can be done, but still blown away. We are now searching for a builder to put all of this into reality, and Jonathan also gave us some recommendations. Just knowing that Jonathan is invested in this project, even after his designs are complete, gives me peace of mind. I hired JE&SONS 3D Home Design to create plans for a home that I purchased that was in need of a complete teardown and remodel. From the start, Jonathan and his team were very attentive and responsive. Jonathan delivered the design that I wanted in the time that I needed. He helped me applied for the building permit and has been stopping by the construction site to make sure things are going well. I have another house that I plan on building, and I plan on hiring JE&SONS again. I highly recommend Jonathan and his team!”

Although we did not finish the project (the deal fell through on the home we were purchasing), we were quite pleased with Jonathan's services. He was prompt, courteous and responsive. We worked with him only through the preliminary phase of drawings. since the deal fell through at that point.

I did not go ahead with the addition,but they where A class service and helped with the local codes which saved us a lot of money.

I worked with Jonathan and he was very professional and responsive to what we were looking for. He worked closely on revisions and was able to provide a finished product that was exactly what we were looking for.

Jonathan was very responsive & quick to come out and meet. He is very pleasant to work with and with 2 visits we had the base of the plans laid out. The turnaround on the plans was quick and we received the building permit easily with the plans. We would definitely use him again. <br />

JE&Sons was so fantastic to work with.  Jonathan returned my first call very quickly, showed up early for the consultation and measurement appointments, and provided us with renderings just a few days after taking measurements. <br /> He was very patient with our questions and changes that we wanted to make.  He really worked hard to make sure our garage addition would be functional and have good curb appeal.  Jonathan was always available to answer questions, offer advice and input, and transform our wish list into a functional building.  <br /> We received our renderings very quickly after measurements, and our construction drawings were completed about a week after we approved the design.  Jonathan also worked with the land surveyor to make sure we would have all of the necessary documents in order to pull a permit. <br /> I plan to pull the permits myself since I am familiar with the process, but Jonathan threw in a few tips for me anyway. <br /> Would absolutely work with Jonathan again, and encourage others to do so as well!  The work was done well, but just as important was the high level of customer service that Jonathan provides.  It made this design process a breeze. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> EDIT:  We had to make numerous changes to our initial design after we had already received the finished construction plans from Jonathan.  He was ready and willing to work with us to fine tune them and make the changes we requested (for a very reasonable rate).  It is always a pleasure to work with Jonathan and we thank him again for his work!

Overall, we were pleased with the services JE & Sons provided. Jonathan worked with me at every step of the project and was responsive to my requests. We began by gathering dimensions of our existing basement and first floor. Although it took extra time to get these dimensions accurate and precise, Jonathan worked hard to make sure I was happy with the final rough sketches. During this time, he also provided us with 3D renderings of our proposed bathroom and beam installation. This helped us visualize and finalize some of the finer details of the project. Since the job required engineering, Jonathan suggested an engineer and assisted with implementing the engineer's requirements into our drawings. When there was a design change that involved the engineer, Jonathan stepped in and made sure our requirements were also approved by the engineer. Although there were a few delays along the way, Jonathan stuck to the contract and was always receptive to our requirements. Even when all of his contractual obligations were done, he stayed it touch with me and followed up with the city until the day we received our permit in the mail. I appreciated this. I will work with Jonathan and JE & Sons again with our next project as we are very pleased with his product. Thank you again, Jonathan! <br />

I have had nothing short of a great experience with JE & Sons.  From the time he came for the estimate, Jonathan has been wonderful to work with.  I am doing a cape-to colonial conversion involving significant  renovation and an addition, and he has helped make it very manageable for me.  Specifically: <br /> 1) Attitude:  Jonathan stands out dramatically from the other designers I interviewed for being courteous, professional, and simply wanting my business.  The others seemed almost blase or worse, smug. <br /> 2) Value:  His pricing was highly competitive and the value is greater because you get more than basic sketches, you get a thorough visual rendering as you go - it gives you a lot of confidence in what is being created. <br /> 3) Work ethic:   All work is completed promptly and the communication is great. <br /> 4) Design expertise:  While I have had a lot to say about what I want my house to look like, Jonathan and his design team have always pointed out things that either don't look/sound right or would simply cost me a lot of extra money.  He has an obvious sense of what is structurally sound, but he also takes the time to get a sense of the overall idea you are going for. <br /> 5) Flexibility:  My project has had several twists and turns and frankly I've changed my mind a lot, not to mention learning more about my town's zoning.  It's all been handled without a hitch.  We were easily able to work out a pricing agreement to accommodate everything I need and work within my budget.  <br /> I would not hesitate to recommend this group for any project, large or small. <br />
