Due to some illnesses and weather, the project took longer than anticipated, but the end result is so worth it!! It's beautiful and amazing!: Jimmy and his helper Mike were absolutely amazing - staying within my budget, while creating a beautiful bathroom. They offered creative ideas and suggestions, and were so kind and helpful in so many other ways! Even my cats loved them :). It can also be unnerving to have strangers in your home - but not with these guys. Absolutely friendly and trustworthy. I will definitely be calling Jimmy when I am ready to do more work in my house. He can do anything :)The end result is beautiful, high quality work and I felt like I'd made new friends! It's hard to find the "whole Package" but this is it :).

The reviews are not just hype, Jimmy is amazing! I hired him to replace the tile floor and backsplash in the kitchen and to replace the tile floor and shower for my basement bathroom. I felt like he did work at my house like he would have at his own. He went the extra step to make sure everything was done right and that is such a rare trait to find in a contractor now-a-day. He was timely and responsive, and I trusted him in my home. The end product was gorgeous, so we decided to have him come back later this the year to do our upstairs bathroom. Thanks Jimmy!

Jimmy does superior work. We have received many compliments on our master bath remodel. He is detailed, creative and is a great problem solver. He is well versed in the technical aspects of remodels and provided great ideas for improvements. He is a master of his trade not to mention fun to work with!

We were very happy with the process and finished product and would work with Jimmy again. This was a full master bathroom remodel and also painting of the master bedroom. He provided excellent guidance during the planning and was always responsive leading up to the project. He is very detail-oriented and passionate about his craft, pointing out several times things we had not considered but ended making things nicer. During the project he was on time and always friendly, as were Mike and Greg who have all worked together for years. He was adaptable to some changes we had during the process, and also took some time to fix some various items about the house that we have been meaning to get to. Overall it was a great experience, cost was very reasonable and we love our new bathroom.

J & G Tile did amazing work for me. Jimmy is a master at tiling. He has done more for me than he could ever possibly imagine, from remodeling my 2 bathrooms to helping me out immensely when my basement flooded. You really cannot find a better contractor for your project. He goes above and beyond in precision and detail. The finished project is flawless.

The project went well. Jimmy does great work! Jimmy did the following: - Replaced jetted tub with large tile shower - Replaced carpet floor with tile - Painted existing cabinet and put on a new tile countertop - Installed a linen cabinet where the old shower was.

Jimmy was an absolute gem. He really nailed the whole project start to finish. We are so happy with how everything turned out on our kitchen backsplash. He was helpful with scheduling, helping us select a grout, discussing maintenance and future care, and the overall finish is so professional and nice. As first timers, he made it all so painless. Couldn't recommend him enough.

I can’t even tell you how lucky we were to find and hire Jimmy. We did a lot of research and read online reviews. We could tell we found the exact right person for the job when we first met him. Not only is he easy to get along with (and funny!), but also he has extensive knowledge, a keen eye, many years of experience, and had really helpful suggestions for our project. This sealed the deal for us. He just finished tiling our large kitchen, entry and laundry room and we could not be happier with the result. It all turned out amazing! He is a true expert and craftsman - for example, he saw issues with our trim and fixed it before it turned into a real problem with the grout. He is also a consummate professional- he showed up everyday and on weekends, gave us an ETA each morning of when he would arrive, and walked us through the steps and what we should expect to get done each day. We’re already planning to have Jimmy come back and tile/renovate the bathrooms in our house. If you can have Jimmy work on your tile and installation, consider yourself lucky- you’re getting the best and your project will be in good hands. If ratings could go to an A+ that’s what we would give.

Jimmy and Gregg were great. As others have already stated (and I agree) Jimmy is a magician and an artist with tile. In addition to that, he offered excellent ideas on our project that we would never have thought of, creating a high-end look, and his attention to detail is as accurate as an engineer's. Every time he does a job for us (he did other floor and kitchen tile work for us 6 years ago) I'm amazed at his ability to work within a challenging situation (uneven floors or walls for example) and make something beautiful. We were particularly stunned with the fireplace work, where he used a rough travertine stacked stone as the surround and a darker ceramic tile for the hearth. He and Gregg were modest, saying that our choice of a great tile was a big factor, but really you need a skilled installer, and Jimmy and Gregg were truly spectacular. And to top it off, they are sooo easy to be around, and just plain good guys. Sadly due to the need for caution in the "year of COVID-19" we couldn't hug at the end of the job, but maybe next time. (Speaking of COVID-19, they were also excellent at respecting our wish to be careful (with humor all-around), by wearing masks and taking other precautions.)

Excellent quality work! Don't expect anything to be done quickly, but the quality is top-notch. Jimmy is a true magician with tile and plumbing.

Jimmy is an artist! He spends a lot of time thinking about layout, color and style. He provides consistency throughout the house and he ensures your other trades are doing their job. Jimmy found an electrical plug for a bathtub was not grounded as well as many other issues with other trades. I cannot say enough good things about Jimmy as a tile artist and human being. We underwent extensive renovations in excess of $600k and he is only one of two contractors I would every hire again. I worked as a general contractor back east for many years, so I know what to look for and he is even more vigilant and detailed than I. He is invaluable to have on a job site and ensure you have input throughout the process. You will never find someone as talented as he in the State of Colorado!

Jimmy did excellent work and I would highly recommend him. He kept us up to date through the project, asked us what we wanted done before work started, and even went the extra mile to go replace a defective box of tiles that was discovered when the project started! He took great care to cut the subway tile we had installed, very professional. He has a pleasant demeanor and was easy to work with, and he is proud of the work he delivers. We will have him back any day.

FANTASTIC. Jimmy was very responsive and thorough in communication regarding all aspects of the job. We originally were going to do a much larger complete bathroom/kitchen remodel with him, which he invested a lot of time to bid out, and when we ended up having to do a small fraction of the plans due to a sudden job move (and need to prep the house for sale), he was gracious in his response and even squeezed us in to be sure the house would be ready for sale. He was awesome to work with and his tile work is beautiful!! Best I’ve ever seen. Greg was also a pleasure to work with and both were very respectful of me having to work from home - I barely knew they were here (other than the tile saw ;)). Worth the wait!! THANK YOU Jimmy!

GREAT, I wish you could help me in my remodel in Las Vegas. Jimmy and Greg you are honest, forward thinking and compassionate. When I had to redo my master bath because the incompetent tiler before J&G mucked up...I started to cry and Jimmy put his arm around me and I knew I was in in good honest hands.

Jimmy and Gregg remodeled our main bathroom last year and we were so pleased with their work that we hired them again this year to do our Master bath, and just like before, they did a fantastic job for us. Jimmy & Gregg use a large vacuum pipe to pull 98% of any dust created during demo and remodel out of the window in the room. They put a protective cover over our hardwood floors and clean up any mess that they make. Jimmy rerouted much of our plumbing to accommodate all the changes we made in our shower fixtures. Not only are they master craftsmen but they are easy to communicate with and are very congenial and friendly. We were able to discuss our plans and Jimmy was helpful in guiding us in making a few changes that were less expensive and worked even better than our original plans. Jimmy & Gregg are in great demand and definitely worth waiting for if they can’t start right away. Jimmy does his own measurements and estimates for pricing so there are no surprises. The people that Jimmy recommended for our drywall patching (Mike from Front Range Paint and Drywall) and Shower glass (Rich from Allure Glass) did an excellent job on both bathrooms.

Great job! I knew I wanted the faux brick to enhance the exterior of my home, but was unaware of how to “do it right.” They installed flashing and made sure the job would last for years! Thanks so much for your honesty and integrity!

We are very pleased with the high quality work and timeliness by Jim (J & G Tile or AKA Tile and Stone) for installing our kitchen backsplash. It was a large project that turned out great. We will absolutely use Jim for any future tile work.

I was very happy with the quality of James's work and the cost to do all of my projects. James is a meticulous tile setter, and he's very capable of doing a wide range of related projects. My range hood was about 1/4 inch off from the top of the back splash, so James moved the hood down rather than have an awkward narrow row of tile or a gap. James also replaced all my bathroom shut-off valves when he installed the new sink and toilet. It's really nice hiring a highly capable contractor that can do it all and not having to call 3 different people to get a small bathroom remodel done. James is a really nice person, and I enjoyed talking to him and getting to know him.

James did an excellent job building us 3 bathrooms, and tiling the kitchen in our new home. The home turned out beautifully, and appraised at a high value. James is always optimistic, enthusiastic, and professional. His quality is what I strive for with all contractors I hire.

Jimmy and his assistant Greg did a fantastic job on our master bathroom remodel, and the craftsmanship is top notch and the price was very fair. The project included demolishing the floor and tub/shower and installing new floor tile, repositioning the toilet with new toilet install, and plumbing for dual shower heads, floor shower pan/tile, and wall tile with niche and almost 7 foot tall glass doors for the shower. Jimmy's almost 30 years experience in bathroom remodels was evident with attention to every detail, and he explained the project every step of the way. He also was open to our feedback and was very collaborative from beginning to end. They also did a spur-of-the-moment backsplash in our guest bathroom which was top notch as well. Jimmy and Greg are also great people and fun to have around and talk to. We highly recommend working with Jimmy!

Jimmy Strickler does a fabulous, professional job from start to finish. He gave me an accurate estimate and patiently answered my endless questions and gave me really good advice on products to buy. He is booked up around 3 months in advance so I had to plan ahead, but very glad I waited. He works based on angieslist reviews, which are great, or referrals from satisfied customers. Once the demo work started I was a little anxious, I must admit, looking at studs and plumbing and the torn up floor. But after a couple of weeks it all started to come together in a way that I could understand. There was some drywall repair that needed to be done and Jimmy arranged for another contractor to come out and do this; for my 2 baths it was $250 that was paid directly to the drywall guy. Now I have two updated bathrooms that I am very happy with. The shower has a large niche and a "shave shelf" which is very functional. Also, Jimmy installed a special floor drain which catches hair and cleans easily and a new electrical outlet in the cabinet for charging devices while keeping the counter uncluttered. Another great thing is that Jimmy passes on his discount from various tile stores. So you shop at one of these stores, tell him what you have chosen, he orders the tile from them, and you pay the tile store directly at his cost. It was a significant savings, at least it was from Daltile. There were no surprises on the final invoice and his prices are fair. Jimmy also cheerfully did a few minor repairs around the house at my request. I don't think there is anything he can't do. For anyone who is budgeting costs, remember to factor in the price of tile, lighting, toilet, shower door and shower head, mirrors, paint, things like that. You have to purchase these things yourself. On a personal note, Jimmy is a fun guy to have in your home for several weeks. He has a winsome personality and I felt very confident in leaving him the code to get into the house when I wasn't home. He responded promptly to text messages and let me know when there was a change in the schedule. An extra shout out to Greg, who was also here almost every day too. Very quiet, sweet guy and a hard worker too. So if you want an honest company with lots of experience in this area, I would highly recommend hiring Jimmy. I'm looking forward to having more work done in my master bath sometime in the future and I won't hesitate t o call him.
