I hired Jim Woodson to replace some valves and get a home sprinkler system running in August 2016. In June of 2017 I called Mr. Woodson and told him that the system had to be turned off becayse it was leaking so badly. He told me that it had been over a year and he could not help me. I told him I had a receipt showing otherwise and that I wanted him to come out and take a look at the system. I even stated that I would pay for any extra work if I did something in error. I have not heard a word back from Jim Woodson after making repeated calls and left messages. He took my $700 for the work and failed to honor it. He is a disreputable businessman and you'll be sorry if you hire him.

Hired Jim to do weekly yard maintenance and he promised us he could do everything, but in reality, he has no idea what he is doing. When I asked him why we had big brown spots in our lawn, his reply was that it is the reflection of the sun off the Boulder in our yard causing the brown spot! I told him that we had never had a brown spot before in 11 years, then his favorite excuse is not enough water! Even though he has our sprinklers set everyday! Now he tells us he can't come because his truck has broken down, and that is the last straw! We paid him for winter rye which has not gone in, so I guess he feels like he's losing the job anyway, so he's going to pocket the money and not show up anymore! Do Not Hire Him!

"10-12-2014 {1} I started doing [member name removed]yard on Sept. 9, 2014, they wanted the lawn and the rest of the Landscape to look better so they could sell the house and move on to the next one, when I started the dead spot in the lawn was about 4ft. to 6ft. from one side to the other, first I put down lawn fertilizer, then changed the sprinkler head so the water would hit the dead spot just right, each week I would check the size of the dead spot, yes the spot was getting smaller each week, last week it was about 1 ft. from one side to the other, it's almost gone. {2} Yes my work truck did stop running, It stopped running at the Gas station, I called a tow truck, had it towed to my Mechanic, I missed 3 days of gardening, most of my customers understand. {3} Last, but not lest, I talked to both [member name removed] the owner's, And told them that the best way to make the lawn look it's best, is to renovate the lawn's and install the winter lawn, { Perennial rye seed } they said ok, I ask all my customers, to pay the money up front, for the winter lawn's, { every year } so that I can stock pile the rye seed, so when the temp. get's down to about 80 to 90 degree's, I will already have the seed ready to go, This next week, it was there turn, to have there rye lawn installed, About a week ago, [member name removed] told me { the gardener } that he changed his mind, he said we do not want a winter lawn now, [member name removed] said to take the money, they paid for the winter lawn and renovation, and put on the last month of gardening service, I said ok, that works good, The only Bad part is, he did not tell his wife [member name removed], that he told me, not to renovate and install the winter lawn, and put the money on the last month of gardening service. { 4 } The first week they put up the for sale sign the house sold, it was about a week after that, when [member name removed] told , not to put in the winter lawn, he said the new owner's could do that, if they want to.."

He was ok. Scheduling was easy. I thought he was very nice and showed up on time. He came on a very hot day and the work just wasn’t A-rated. He did what was asked, but was the bare minimum. I asked him to help with the sprinkler system, but they still aren’t working too well. He worked for six hours, and we traded a couple of sprinkler parts for the remaining two hours.

Was prompt, professional and courteous. He mowed the lawn, tended the bushes. I did not continue with his services only because my previous gardener begged for his job back and I decided to give him a second chance. Otherwise, Jim is an excellent choice for someone looking for a new service.

<strong>I AM VERY HAPPY WITH JIM. HE IS HONEST, DEPENDABLE AND HARD WORKING. HE IS ALWAYS ON TIME AND IF HE IS GOING TO CHANGE HIS SCHEDULE FOR ANY REASON HE CALLS IN ADVANCE. MY YARD LOOKS BETTER THAN IT HAS IN 8 YEARS OF OTHER GARDENERS. HE GIVES ME A RECEIPT FOR MY CHECK AND I HAVE GIVEN HIM KEYS TO MY GATES. HE GETS IN AND DOES HIS WORK AND I AM VERY COMFORTABLE WITH HIM. MY YARD LOOKS BEER THAN EVER AND EVERYONE WANTS HIS NUMBER.<br /> HE SPEAKS ENGLISH WHICH WITH MY HEARING PROBLEMS IS VERY NECESSARY.
