Juan did a fantastic job trimming and shaping our 15-foot high privacy wall of shrubs around our pool as well as trimming and shaping 2 mature orange and grapefruit trees in our yard. He is talented, personable and easy to work with to get the job done the way you want it. I highly recommend Juan!

We had an agreement that he would trim all the trees front and back as well as bushes and he would cut all the grass and weeds. He also would spray where he cut the weeds and grass to kill the weeds. I did advise him that I would be out of town and would have a family member home. He did majority of the work that was agreed upon but did not do the area by the RV gate apparently because he told my mom he wasn?t go to move things to do the area. Nothing was said about having to move anything by us per our agreement. He did come by and see what needed to be done so he was aware of items that maybe in the way. For the small area that wasn?t done I feel he could have done a better job.

The person who contacted me from J&J Lawncare was possibly the worst landscaper I've ever worked with. His phone couldn't receive pictures through the Angi app, he had no ability to be paid in anything other than cash, he was hours late, and he consistently ignored my questions/requests. Most importantly, he tried to pretend that I agreed to have him only spray when the job description clearly says weed removal, and then tried to charge me $200 for 40min of spraying and didn't remove a single weed. I agreed to remove weeds and spray, and then he tried to give me a sob story about living an hour away. I ended removing the weeds myself (after he sprayed herbicide). This person is clearly is lazy.

Juan was communicative, friendly, and did a great job. It wasn't an easy project - the lawn, bushes, trees, and weeds needed a lot of catch-up work, but he handled it all. The yards look so much better now!

J & J was one of a few companies I had come quote my job. The range in price (and hours projected to do the job) differed greatly between all. In the end, J & J was not the least expensive but was close and seemed fair. I decided to go with them based on the excellent communication and straight forward and reasonable quoting of the job. They came at the exact time/day arranged, and were able to get 90% of the job done on the first day. There were some additional things needing to be done, they arranged a second time to come out, and finished the job. My biggest reason for the 5 star review is the follow up though. They have checked with me a few times since the job to make sure we were happy, that no new issues arose, etc. I rarely ever get this level of care go into a "one off" job. I will absolutely hire them again and cannot recommend them enough.
