I was very disappointed. I was not there when the work was done but I went in later that day. I expected to be wowed by a clean house but there was grit on the kitchen counter, dirt on baseboards, window sills and blinds, dirt in closet door tracks, dirt on fireplace mantle, etc. I complained and sent photos to Susan Chenault at JJs Cleaning. She offered to come out and clean for free, but I requested a 50% refund- cost $375.

It did not go well. We were told that there would be two people showing up at 9am for the four hour special we purchased and we opted to pay for an additional hour for two people. The woman sent her son alone and he arrived early and we began getting calls and emails because he couldn't get into the house that had no one living in it because he had arrived early. When he got into the house he complained that there was more work than I had described, which I do not believe was true. The owner, Susan, then tried to tell me that the price would go up by $90. Then the son said he had to leave to work on another project and left for a few hours. I had to call and ask what was going on and Susan stated that they had an airbnb that needed cleaning and they would come back. I had to let her know that I had a real estate guy coming over to take pictures at 3:45 and had expected the house to be done at noon. She did not seem to believe that leaving in the middle of a job was poor service and then brought her family (son, daughter, child and herself) back over to clean. They got done around 3:30 which caused me a lot of stress because the photographer was due at 3:45. When I went upstairs after they left, I found that the bathroom was not clean and I ended up having to clean it. There was still dust and Styrofoam on both sinks and the floor had not been swept. Susan and her daughter did a good job on the kitchen but because of the poor service, leaving in the middle of a job, trying to extort extra money in the middle of the job and not actually doing all of the job, I would definitely not recommend anyone hire them. This is not actually a business, it's a mom who uses her children and friends to clean and does not run it like a business.

"I received your first request for a move out cleaning and quoted you 250. did not hear back from you until you reached out and said you seen my deal for 2 hours/ 2 cleaners and wanted to use that. I told you at that time that it states in the fine print those deals are cannot be used with moveouts. that the price would be 250. you then told me that there was alot of work gonna be done already that the hardest thing would be the kitchen and oven.and that you forgot to do the medicine cabinets and cabinets in the bathrooms so do those and vacuum all the new carpets in the whole house. so i told you fine I would charge you the 160 you wanted to pay giving you the 90 discount provided all it was as clean as you said. my son got there 10 minutes early. WOW! yes I admit I had one cleaner call out but figured if it was as simple as you said my son would be able to finish in time. but low and behold you lied and it was more work then you said. it took my son 3 hours and 20 minutes to do just the top floor. he should have been done in time to do his next job but wasn't thanks to you lying so I told him to go do the next house. I take responsibility for my part meaning my cleaner calling out. but you need to take responsibility for your part you lied about the amount of work to get a cheaper deal. upon returning it was myself,my 2 daughters and my son who came back to finish up in time for your photographer. you and your brother both had did a walk through of the house prior to getting paid and said it was all good. thats exactly why I do a walk through before payment. not to mention my son went back 2 hours later to pick up his wallet he forgot and nothing was mentioned at that time. and as for my family please don't speak on matters you know nothing about. its a shame you have to bad mouth someone's family cause your miserable. i own a FAMILY BUSINESS and have always stated that to my clients. so for you to speak about my family, your out of line. stop going through life trying to cheat decent hardworking people out of money and lying on them. I will however pray for you."

My home was clean when they left. They even gave me a recommendation for keeping my glass shower clean and applied the product. As they return and learn my home I think I would rate them even higher.

Not well, vacuum broke down. Thing were not done. All parts of house left dirt. I expected more people for the price and got 2 people. Blinds were going to be dusted had say wash. Completely poor service.

"I'm sorry you feel that way but I told you when I booked the appt and mentioned it was two cleaners. it took us 6 1/2 hours which comes out to 13 hours of cleaning. we did all kitchen cabinets inside and out all counters and drawers, the stove and oven as well as the refrigerator inside and out. we did all blinds and window sills and tracks. all floors were swept and mopped. the bathrooms top to bottom. even the door frames and all closets as well as windows. as for the vacuum I vacuumed one of the 3 bedrooms before your carpet broke my vacuum which we therefore had to sweep all the dust and trash of the carpet. we did a walk through with you at the end if you were dissatisfied why did you not say anything then and we could've dealt with it then."

They are an awesome find! They were right on time. They worked very hard. The tubs were loaded with soap scum. But now they are spotless. Very friendly. Professional. And their price was so great Try then abd you will be thrilled. . .

This is an update from a previous review. JJ's cleaning has a new partner, and the cleaning is better than ever! Even more thorough, even more friendly, even more willing to help with specific requests. For small special tasks they charge nothing extra, and for big bigger ones (like refrigerator cleaning) only a small extra fee. I am very impressed with them and count myself lucky to have their help with cleaning our house.

Fantastic find through Angie’s List. I had an emergency cleanup on an Airbnb property and JJ’s shuffled their calendar and were able to get here in about 30 minutes. They not only did a thorough and detailed job cleaning but made a difficult situation easy for me. I highly recommend.
