John replaced a roof and installed a hatch on my Bed Stuy brownstone. John was communicative and professional through the whole process. His team is fast and do excellent work. After a year, the hatch needed a small patch. John sent his team out on new years eve, patched the roof in under an hour and didn't charge me a penny. John runs his family business the way everyone should. I highly recommend JJ's roofing.

Called John a year after service when roof started leaking. He wouldn't even look at the cause and said it wasn't covered under warranty. Hired another roofing company and they said it definitely should've been covered under the new roof warranty. Other company ended up helping me with the issue for a small fee.

We have been looking for someone to take on our roofing and wall repair project for over a year and a half. Finding John is honestly one of the best things that's happened to us since moving into our home. It's hard to find someone who does high quality roofing and masonry repairs, uses high quality materials, is easy to communicate with. John checks all the boxes. A+ When I inquire for an estimate and service in a voice message, John reached out to me the very same day. He was extremely detail-oriented and picked up on all sorts of little things. He was professional and really knows what he is doing. There were at times I didn't what was needed for our roof but John was right there for us like our skylights needed flashing and one of the vents needed to be replaced. John cares about my home like it's his! He went out of his way to custom order shingles I liked. Once installed, we couldn't be more happy how well it looks for our home. Working along with John is his brother Dan who did a fantastic job in making sure our wall repairs were done right. A real solid person. Before leaving the finished wall repair job, Dan walked to every repair spot to see if everything is ok and even asked us if there is we wanted him to take a look at. A+ We are really grateful to have found John and look forward to working with him on future projects.

JJ and his team were great. Came by quick and gave us honest answers and didn't push us to seal the deal. We did our own research and he was quick to answer our questions. Their team did a great job and really went out of their way to make sure the job was seamless (even though we were on a pre-planned vacation when this happened). Very Well. His team came, tore off all of the old roof, installed extra panels of wood, insulated, and then cleaned up. Two weeks later there was a very small leak in the garage. I called him. John was very responsive, fast to my enquiry and gave an estimate. He was able to get the job done sooner than then other bidders. Also, John was very professional and the job was completed on time.

John came the same day I called to look at my roof. He carefully explained what needed to be done. He could have pushed an entire new roof, but he didn't. He said repairs could be made and be good for quite a while. He took pictures of all the areas that were missing shingles. My house is 3 stories high, so without the pictures I would never be able to see what damage there was. I hired him on the spot because of his professionalism, and the fact that he would be with his crew on the job site at all times. He came the day he promised. He and his crew worked from 9 AM to around 3.He showed me pictures of all the repairs he made. I was more then satisfied with his work.

I don’t normally write reviews, but here is a great experience while we hired JJ Roofing to replace our shingle roof on September 2018, after gone through the quotation and discus to all the details of the project, we signed the contract. John brings his team and start the job on 09/17, the job includes rip-off old shingle roof, replace damaged wood boards, put waterproof sheet under the new single, take care of waterproof by the surrounding area of 5 skylights, plus a small area of flat roof on the porch at the top of front door. They have completed the job in 2 days also remove all the wastes and clean the whole yard, in a very professional manner. 10 days later we found some leaking at the porch, called and texted John for the issue, he response immediately and sent his guys to fix it in a couple of days. Since then we have gone through all the heavy rains and some snow without any issue on the entire roof, but on January 31 we got some leaks by the edge of skylights due to the suddenly freezing weather, I texted to John again with pictures for his reference, again he has quickly response to me in a professionally. The proven facts after 6 months of the job completion, yes, I am highly recommending John and the professional teams at JJ Roofing.
