I am writing this review regarding one Keith Furman. We hired Mr. Furman to do a myriad of jobs on our home in anticipation of a family reunion later in the summer. • April 25, 2019 – we paid Mr. Furman $475.00 25% of the entire cost of the job. Please note that he did not have to buy any materials. He stated that he would start the following Wednesday, May 1, 2019. • May 1, 2019 – he did not show. Texted him and he did not respond. • May 2, 2019 – power washed a couple of hours and then left after telling us he’d be back tomorrow. • May 3, 2019 – he texted that he was at another job, waiting for the homeowners to come for a meeting. He said that he would be here after the meeting. He never came. Later he told us he’d be back on Monday, May 6, 2019. • May 5, 2019 – texted him – what time would he be here. No response. • May 6, 2019 – No show. • May 7, 2019 – he texted that he was getting released from the hospital and would be here tomorrow, May 8, 2019. May 8, 2019 – he came but informed us that he had a problem at his other job and could not stay. He said that he would be here next week. Meanwhile, we were not satisfied with the little power washing work he had done (please see the attached picture of his power washing that left gouges in the wood), therefore we did not want him to finish the rest of the power washing as we did not want the rest of the deck torn up. We informed him that we still wanted him to do the work inside of the house. He said that he had to go back home to get his tools but would be back. He never came back. Over the next 2 months we texted him and asked him to return the money if he was not going to do the work. We were not asking for the entire amount as he did work a couple of hours. He consistently had one fabricated story after another as to why our check was not in the mail: His family was sick, his accountant did not have it together yet, there was a death in the family, he needed to wait for another job to be finished. At one point, he agreed to meet us at the local Dunkin Donuts but he never showed. We have been exceedingly patient but realize he does not intend to refund our money. This individual is a fraud and should not be trusted. We are writing this in the hopes that no one else will be taken in by his malingering behavior. He stole from us and he will steal from you. update 11/15/19 This is in response to Mr. Furman stating that the reasons he did not pay us were: 1. The deck had not been taken care of for years? He bid on the job and knew exactly what the deck looked like. 2. that we threatened him? We did not threaten him. We did say that we were going to report him to the Better Business Bureau relative to his abhorrent business actions. Further, he's projecting about his behavior. After asking multiple times and getting no response, he told us, "Keep it up and no I wont meet you this week out of spite". This person's excuses continue to mount as he lamely ascertains that he was the victim in all of this. I ask you - who charges $237.50 for an hour of work? He worked 2 hours for us and he received $475.00. for his labor. This person cheated us. Full stop.

He was knowledgeable and did a great job. Hire this guy.

I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the painting and the care taken in performing the work. Keith was a pleasure to work with, as was his painter.
