James is awesome! I called around for an estimate. Some contractors were not available for a while. Some wanted a hefty fee just to give a quote. Yet another quoted me a ridiculous price. James was extremely responsive, very fairly priced, and very professional. He was polite and completely the work with quality. I was on the phone when he finished. He was very considerate and did not want to interrupt me. He left quietly with the invoice on the table. He truly deserves the A rating. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great electrician!

Quick and professional. Installed new mini-breakers and EMP Shield. He even tightened all the screws in my 33 year old electrical box. Never a loose screw here!

Fantastic. Septic company left (and they didn't think it was the pump). I called James and he came right away. Checked all the circuits and decided that the electric line that was in the ground for 27 years, and under the stone home, was at fault and also sized too small. During the troubleshooting, the power in the line actually stopped working. He ran a temporary line from the panel to the pump (120 feet) and the next day with help ran a new line from the panel, through the basement ceiling, through the stone walls, and outside into a new trench to the septic well and pump. He upgraded the circuit breaker to the proper size, and also recommended replacing the alarm power line as well. A lot of difficult work, very professionally done. And while he was going through the house, fixed two other annoying electrical issues,

They have done small jobs, and some very large commercial jobs for us. We are more than satisfied and will remain loyal customers. I only have really good things to say.

I don't want to call them back because they may want to charge me to correct the wiring . Everything is in working order .

Horrible. He wired switches incorrectly, we had discrepancies in the way he was wiring things. He was dishonest about what he was supplying and cheated us out of refunds for products we never received.

James described when he would be available for this small job and actually called back to schedule when he said he would call back. He was prompt, personable, and answered my questions. The work was performed quickly and cleanly. I would hire James again.

Jamey does excellent work! He is extremely responsive and professional. We had a lamp post downed during a storm, he was able to disconnect the wiring and made recommendations on safe replacement. He also replaced 2 outdoor lighting fixtures which where were original to the home. He took the time to explain what he was doing and interjected safety information during the entire process. We did not hesitate to book him for additional projects. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, personable, professional, who is concerned about your safety and the quality of his trade look no further than Jamey. We do NOT have 1 negative about our experience.

I had reached out to another contractor and paid $40 for a ridiculously high estimate. Contacted JL and was told I would only pay for the time the job took and he gave me a very reasonable ball park estimate over the phone. They did a great job installing my ceiling fan and re-wiring the switch. They also fixed a few other minor things and gave me some tips to troubleshoot an issue I'm having with my pool light. Very reasonable prices, great work, and quick response time. I have found my contractor for any future electrical work.

I was very satisfied with this vendor. He is honest and trustworthy, did the project on schedule, was very professional with his work, and made the finished product attractive and tidy looking. Price was fair and reasonable. I will definitely look to him for any future electrical needs.

Wish I had found Jamie years ago. He squeezed in this job, allowing me to have the kitchen counters completed a bit earlier. He and his helper arrived on time, got right to work and installed very nice lighting under the cabs over our kitchen counter. I was looking for lights that wouldn't be visible and would give a medium white color. They look just great. He takes the time to explain everything he's doing. They worked straight through until the job was done. We will definitely use JL Electric for any future projects.

<p>Service was exceptional.  I emailed for information on Sunday and had a call less than an hour later.  James even came out that same day to give me an estimate.  During the estimate he was very helpful in finalizing what I wanted done and how I wanted it done.  He helped offer several suggestions to ensure I only need to do the work once and that it would be prepared for the future when I finish the basement further.  This way I would not be wasting money on future renovations to change it again.</p> <p>When he performed the work, other than running a little late everything was perfect.  The work was professional, done quickly, and turned out exactly how I hoped.  James was personally professional and considerate of the home and ensured that he was being careful when entering and exiting so that nothing was damaged or tracked into the home, and no walls were marked up or hit.  The cost was about what I would expect and did not think it was too cheap or too expensive.  The quote and what I was charged in the end also matched and I feel I got my moneys worth.</p> <p>Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of the work and the speed that it was done in (I am not normally easily impressed).  I won't hesitate to use James again in the future and I would highly recommend him to others.</p> <br />

Jamey was great to work with. He was punctual, took the time to answer my numerous emails, and explained exactly what I needed to purchase with the kitchen light, bathroom exhaust fan and timer. I am very satisfied with the results and highly recommend JL Electric.

We just moved into house a little over two weeks ago and discovered numerous electrical problems.  I called him and explained our situation and he came out in two days and did all the work we needed done.  He was very professional, and very knowledgeable.  His cost was very reasonable and I would definitely highly recommend him to other customers.  He will be our electrician for life. <br />
