Hard job increasing the depth of clearance under no basement house so you can work on new support. A lot of soil was removed, new framing and new downspouts to move water away from foundation & gutters. Job went well.

I first met the Jeff Ours, owner of JLS Contracting in the summer of 2014. He and his crew installed a new metal roof on my house and garage that year. Which I am still very happy with. He and his crew were always on time, worked diligently from the time they got here to the time they left for the day, took a minimal amount of time for their lunch, always policed up the area at the end of each day, were always professional, polite, and considerate. As a matter of fact, I was so impressed with them and the quality of their workmanship, that I invited them back again this year for a series of projects. Again, Jeff and his crew proved to be one of the best in the business, and all of the above still held true. Jeff is a very professional, down to earth person. He listens attentively to my concerns and future project goals, tactfully provides his professional opinion and offered some great advice and suggestions. Any questions I had about anything before, during or even after the project was complete, he has always been very prompt to address them. His rates are competitive, reasonable and the high quality of workmanship is unsurpassed. This latest project included installation of new siding for my house and garage, installation of 11 new vinyl replacement windows, replacement of 3 storm doors, one entry door, demo of one concrete porch and one wood deck and stairs, creation of new front porch, porch roof, and railings, installation of new garage overhead and single-entry doors; house gutter redirects and some replacements. removal and replacement of badly deteriorating sidewalks and steps. The cost of this series of projects was worth every penny. The outside of my house has been truly transformed. If you want true quality work done by people you can trust, these are the people to contract with.

They continued to come on the job everyday until completed. It was a labor intensive job in removing the crawlspace dirt but they persevered to complete the job in a satisfactory manner. The owner continued to have open communication with the customer during all phases of the project (arrival for estimate, scheduling of job and performing the work). The goal of the customer was to eliminate water under the house, repair the duct work and have access for future work.

Excellent company to work with.  Very detail oriented, exceptional workmanship, owner very responsive to questions, even stopped by after a few weeks to see if I was having any problems.  Crew cleaned the area thoroughly each day before they left.  I recommend their services highly. <br />

Jeff Ours was always very good to respond to our phone calls quickly whenever there were questions or concerns. His crew was very respectful of our home by not taking materials/trash through the front door and using a protective barrier for our floors when they did have to come through the front. They didn't park a dumpster in our driveway. They cleaned up their job site every night. He kept track of expenditures/add-ons down to the cent. <br />

Jeff and his crew came in our house to work after Jeff had evaluated our foundation problem and given us an estimate, and the very first time they were there, Jeff made corrections to the support beams that stopped the loud popping and cracking that had been going on for months every time the floor was walked on. Jeff offered us several options and prices, and was fine with it when we chose the mid range option rather than the most expensive. He and his crew installed temporary support jacks under the house right away, and had holes dug, well formed and deeply placed footers, and new supports installed in less than 2 weeks. We are thrilled with the results and are looking forward to getting some water damage repaired at the back door as well as some remodeling done. Jeff and his crew are punctual, neat, polite, quiet even, and all hard and thorough workers. I had tried for months to get some help with our serious foundation problem, and called Jeff based on, of all things, his ad on a grocery cart. I am so glad I did. I would recommend his work highly to anybody and am so glad to have the chance to brag on JLS Contracting. <br />
